Second Life I Short Documentary about Street Dogs in Bosnia

In this documentary we follow the team of "Save the Dogs BIH", an organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of street dogs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The dogs are often abandoned and are in poor condition when they are found. The team works to ensure that the dogs receive medical care, food and a safe home.
We see the team track down the dogs and place them at their dog ranch, which was built by the founders themselves. The organization places less emphasis on adoptions and more on creating a solution locally through the dog ranch. Currently, the biggest challenge is the municipal shelter, where more than 1,000 dogs are housed and live in poor condition due to overcrowding and lack of legal regulations.
The goal of Save the Dogs BIH is to give the dogs a dignified life and a home where they can be safe and happy. We also see the support of the organization through donations and the commitment of local people to achieve this goal.
This documentary shows us how important it is to work for the welfare of animals and how much can be achieved when people work together and get involved. It inspires us that we too can make a contribution to improve the lives of animals.
We are „SavethedogsBIH“ and rescue street dogs in Bosnia. We rescue dogs from the streets or free them from unacceptable conditions. They are examined at the vet, medically treated, neutered/sterilized and then placed on our currently 1 hectare remote ranch. There our team takes care of the dogs - they receive lots of affection, food and drink. They are played with daily, have a roof over their heads and are allowed to experience what it means to have a carefree life. Currently, 250 dogs live on the ranch in Bosnia. Our top priority is that the ranch is not overloaded and the dogs can have a nice and safe life.

Für mich ist der Hund mein absolutes Herzenstier❤.Unfassbar was Menschen diesen tollen Wesen für leid zufügen,um so schöner zu sehen,dass es noch solche tollen Menschen gibt.Ich habe meiner Hündin vor über 15 Jahren auch das Leben gerettet.Diese Dankbarkeit und liebe die man dafür zurückbekommt ist einfach unfassbar schön und ich glaube das ihr daraus auch eure Kraft nehmt.Ich habe heute gespendet und werde es auch weiter tun.Macht weiter so❤️🦮🐕‍🦺🐩🐕🐶👍🙋
