I think this may be a turning point for you. We would all like to just do the fun things in life all the time, but that’s just not realistic, especially when there are bills to pay. Finding a way to enjoy those precious fun days while we work and build stability has, for me, been the key to enjoying life. I’m 61, work a demanding job and care for a now disabled husband. Those rare days of freedom and wonder are still possible and are all the more sweet because of my situation. Keep doing the hard things, and be proud of yourself for it!
I will be on hwy 50 in Nevada in early Aug with 14 other couples doing a cross country run on our motorcycle group do it won’t be so lonely or as quiet as we pass by😅
US Hwy 50 in Nevada is one of our favorite. We especially like the Great Basin NP and Tahoe Basin segments. Also stayed at the Ward Charcoal Ovens state historic park. Peaceful - great description, which is the draw for us. Great road chronicle, and hope you will return for more US Hey 50 videos. Thanks for sharing.
These kids, I guess there are adults that do it also that cook inside such a small space using propane and butane ect have no idea how dangerous it is. Alex, u using that jet boil on ur center console that isn't even a level flat surface...wow, if it wld fall over or anything, u wouldnt have a chance to get away. I wonder if your mom lectures you about these things. Sorry I'm 60ish and I just shake my head when you all take such irresponsible chances. Im sorry for this but dang, use ur head, you aren't invincible and accidents do happen.
New to your station...your beautiful dog got me...l will continue watching you as l really enjoy watching independent women...enjoy your Xmas holidays on the busy roads..l am an Aussie and l live in a beautiful part of the south west...but omg...the roads are crazy and l try not to use them
Winter time is always so hard for animals cause we can't walk them. I always take my dogs to Home Depot they don't mind walking the dogs around the store. Just a suggestion.
Bathrooms have doors for a reason.
This is my home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful side of Nevada. So many people don't realize that Nevada is so much more than Las Vegas.
I was stationed in Fallon Nevada in 1969. Worked about 30 miles from base. Beautiful area. Your right.
it is SO much more! especially for desert/mountain lovers - some of the most stunning landscapes, and no one around!
Ya right

How's dad's recovery going?
Where is your tiedye fleece bat from? The one with the running figure on the front?
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that "running figure on the front" is the SmartWool logo.
It's from a small company called "Gumby Gear"! I love it!
