I am so glad you did a video on this eye look!!! You look absolutely amazing! I really want the mint palette. I'm not sure about Lilac You Alot, but maybe. I love these colorful eye looks. You play with color and it looks so pretty and not the least bit clownish. I'm afraid if I tried to branch out and do a straight forward colorful eye, I'd look like Bozo the clown. (I do try to add pops of color, just not full on color) LOL Really though, that purple/mint eye is stunning!!!

I ordered the mint palette because I love the colors and don't have anything like it but I'm a little at a loss of how to use the mint color. This look with the lilac palette was so pretty I may have to try it out 😉💜

I love how you play with color! I think those colors are lovely together and such a nice bright pop! I have gotten tired of the constant new monochromatic palettes from Colourpop just because I feel like they are rehashing older ideas (I loved the idea of the original rainbow, but the pastels just feel like now they're trying to milk it). Can't wait to hear your other thoughts on colourpop products!

Such a pretty look. The palettes don't call to me because I don't wear pastels often and i have some for the rare occasion. The tinted moisturizer however, looks beautiful on you and I would like to have something sheer for the days i don't wear a full face. Such a fun video!!! 💖

Love this look! 💜💚💜💚 i know it's just lighting and skin tone but your Lilac palette looks so much more magenta-y than mine...lol. This palette is super cool toned on me when I wear it. I just wore it yesterday. Mine looked soft cool lilac purple with no hint of magenta😁

You should try the Pretty Vulgar concealer. I use the "light" color and I have mature under eyes. I never have creasing with it and I have dry skin. It's nice! ;) Love the video.

Love the eye look. One of my favorites.
I have dry skin and the tinted moisturizer holds up well on my skin as well except on the large pores by my nose. A tinted power touch up fixes it though.

I'm tempted to buy these palettes just to do this eye 💚💜 How long have you been using retinol and has it been helpful? I recently got a 0.025 prescription, but have been too nervous to try 😣
I have been using it now for a month and I think you need about 12'isch weeks to see a difference.I got a stronger now because the times Ive used it before I didnt see much difference other than softer skin, which I feel most skincare gets me haha :P
Asha M, start using a pea-sized amount of retinol twice a week for two weeks, then every other night for two weeks, then every night. I have sensitive, dry skin. I apply a moisturizing serum before my retinol. My dermatologist says this reduces the retinol’s potency, but I am able to use it nightly, which is desirable (in my doctor’s opinion). Your prescription is a low concentration of the active ingredient. You may not experience any redness, peeling, or flakiness. Everyone’s skin is different. Also, you may know this, but do not use acids and retinols on the same night. The combination can irritate the skin. I’m sorry to leave such a long comment! Hope this helps.

@@AngelicaNyqvist what strength are you using now? I have 'tolerant' from using glycolics and salicylic acids in the past. I dont want to wait a couple months to only have smooth skin 😕 lol hoping to have my skin clearer for summer and lighter foundations 😉
You've most likely been prescribed tretinoin, which is the most potent and sensitising one of the retioid family (more than retinol, which is widely used in cosmetics for example). I've used retinol for a year, and about a few months switched to 0.025 tret (same as yours). It does work wonders, both the tret and the retinol worked really well for me, how ever I find that the retinol wasn't strong enough, so now I'm trying the other one. Both made my skin dryer and more sensitive, however the tret actually cause peeling and dry patches I've never had before,especially now in the colder months. So I started using it less frequently. Be sure to introduce the tret very slowly and carefully into your routine, don't start with applying it every night, because it might really sensitise and burn your skin. However, it's absolutely worth it though, especially when your skin learns to tolerate it. Hope that helps!
