Since this was filmed I have made a dontation to Campaign Zero for $100 which is most likely double what I’ll make on this video in Adsense haha. But I’m still looking for a good place to donate more closer to home. Also here in Sweden companies (to my knowledge) does not have the ability to donate to charity for a tax-exempt which means that IF this video does make $100 in Adsense I’ll have to withdraw it from the company and pay 51 % taxes on it before donating it. So I’d love to donate even more, but I’m not one of those ”rich booty gurus” :P. Thank you for watching my videos, sending all my love and virtual hugs your way!
I think it's also important for creators to say to switch off your adblocker. I have noticed that since I stopped mine the adds are longer than the 2-3secods ones that you can actually skip..
actually I dont think anyone should watch free content that creators pay for to make with adblocker, but that is probably an unpopular opinion. Creators shouldnt pay to entertain anyone :P
@@AngelicaNyqvist honestly it's true. But to be honest in uk if you don't have adblocker you will have 50 popping up windows with spam, probably even ending up having to reset your PC. As a avid watcher of yours, I love that you have always been genuine about the brands that you support, regardless of the racial identity of the owners. Love you Angie!

In fact, there shouldn't even have to be more than one side. I love your green look. Stay safe (and healthy) and feel hugged. ❤️
Angie - after you NYX video I picked up the nyx foundation. I have had lackluster experience with bb creams and light coverage foundations breaking apart and only lasting a few hours. The NYX lasted so long on my combo skin through the Arizona heat! I’m so impressed and my skin looks so good!!! It even lasted though the BLM March I attended this weekend. I’m so excited for this new foundation!!!
Adeleon Pi That would be a heck of an ad campaign... my foundation lasted through a protest in Arizona! My eyeliner didn’t smudge, even after I got pepper sprayed! My bobby pins not only kept my flyaway hair under control; I was able to use them to get someone out of zip ties! My bra was still comfortable after being illegally detained for 18 hours! (I’m kidding... but can’t you picture it?)
I won’t support NYX any longer or any of L’Oreals’ subsidiaries. Unfortunately they are complicit in using this moment as a marketing trend to further their racist practices. Two years ago they dropped a black model from their campaign for encouraging more inclusivity.
You are a genuine person. I felt your heart in what u said. Have always watched your channel for makeup you post. But now- I will watch because of your heart.

WOW 🤩, you have used some neons before, but the OPV loose pigments are unreal!! What an absolutely stunning look! I cannot wait to try the Fenty "Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipsticks" & I am 100% picking up one of the new cream contours & possibly a blush (although I have 2 I adore plus Daniel Sandler water color blushes which are my all time favorite)!! There are multiple colors in the new lip line that I think I would love & I really don’t need a bunch of new lippies so how I have no clue how to decide, 🤦🏼♀️! I can say with certainty that from the 1st released swatches; I immediately thought that 'Tang Thang' may be a strong contender in your quest to find the best sheer orangey lipstick/balm/gloss all in 1 stick! I went to order some JD Glow shadows, but they are selling out like crazy, ☹️! However; I am absolutely ecstatic to see so many deserving brands selling out of stock & finally receiving the attention they deserve. I know you have so many Indie products from companies that are run by black women, would you do a video on your top 1 or 2 favorite products from each one? If you can find someone who specializes in skincare & collabed with them, that would be a great combo video! Although, knowing you, you’re probably 10 steps ahead of me, 🤣! Human rights are not a political issue it's driving me crazy as well. Thank you for continuously using your platform to spread information and standing up. 💐🌻💖
Your eyes look amazing! love the whole look. I don't have a favorite brand but I have been interested in hearing/seeing more about Uoma beauty before I decide what I want to try.
I love you even more for being so passionate about Black Lives Matter!! There’s not a single product from Fenty I’ve tried that I don’t like. The hydrating fountain is my fav. It’s actually not super duper dewy, it looks natural! I used a whole tube, repurchased it, and just bought a darker color for summer! I was super impressed with their shipping too! Even with everything going on I placed my order Wednesday night, got free two day shipping and got in by Friday afternoon. ❤️❤️❤️
You are an inspiration. I love the green matching your beautiful cactus. The beauty market really shows more than any other place about skin tone. This is the perfect platform for helping to spread kindness and justice for EVERYONE! Thank yo so much, because "Who asked for this?".
I wouldn’t feel that comfortable wearing a neon green look but every time I see you do one of these super bright looks it makes me feel a little braver! 💚💛
Thanks you for sharing this message! One of my favorite palette is the ace beaute 's flair palette. I know you tried the bundle but I've heard this formula is different and I really like it! I learned that this brand is black owned just a few days ago.
As a woman of colour I could not have expressed it better than you did in your intro. Thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with your sisters and brothers of colour 💜
Obvious love to Juvia’s Place, Beauty Bakerie, Pat McGrath, JD Glow and Fenty. Just received and am loving the new Propa Beauty lipsticks. Eager to try Uoma and Mented once I finish my current no-buy! 🥰
This eye look is everything!!! I want to try all 3 brands you used on your eyes once I am no longer a broke graduate 😂 I have tried fenty's hydrating foundation and it worked really well on my oily skin surprisingly! Beauty bakerie's liquid lipstick was really sticky though :/
Happy to see this Angelica! Thank you so so much for linking Lovette’s talk in the description. I really appreciate you sharing it. ❤️ And thank you for moderating your comments. That’s something that has frequently frustrated me because I moderate for several channels. Not enough people monitor their comment sections. Danessa is amazing! Highly recommend her products. The colorfix, highlights, and waterproof palettes are my top three favorites I think. Coloured Raine is a fave too. The vivid pigments are so good. I love my palettes too! I highly recommend Safari Raine (coming back in stock one last time), Power palette, and Beauty Rust. I have yet to try September Rose but they have such pretty palettes. Ditto Propa! I will definitely check out that swatch video. I adore green makeup! This look is beautiful.
Thank you! And I'm in between moderating and also wanting to show exactly how ugly it can be, what kinda horrible people there are actually out there, it's rough :/
@@AngelicaNyqvist I have personally seen the nasty stuff you're talking about and it gets extremely ugly. How I like to think of it is that we can use them as examples, but I don't think they don't need a voice.
@@AngelicaNyqvist on a slightly more positive note! @Dupe Black on Instagram and Ellevate here on RUclips is an incredible source for Black owned Brands
Hey! You actually made me think of what brands I own and have for a long long time ... Fenty Gloss Bomb - every single color and Juvia’s Place about 5 pallets. I am all about quality and let me say both of those brands are my ride or die. Thanks Angie smooch from PA in the USA ❤️
Been off of YT for a bit, but could not miss a green eye and orange lip 😍 At a time where some are speaking just to say something, I find your words genuine and heartfelt 💞
I think you are one of the most sincere people and you have been talking about Black Owned Makeup Brands since I first found your channel. I am so happy that we are having these conversations! You are awesome!
Hi, I would love to see this as a series every month or two or three. Like every few months, as you collect products from BOMB brands, put them together and do a full face of BOMB. I think that's a great way to incorporate this content down the road. Great video!! PS: Have you tried any of the Fenty eyeliners (flyliners?)? If not, I would be very interested to know what you think if you are looking to buy.
I love the premise of this video. I have to say some of my absolute favourites are black owned brands 🖤 regarding donations, I've decided to donate all my adsense for 2020 this year to black lives matters and indigenous causes and really hope YT isn't going to block ads on my videos.. 😔 and I've heard they've been suppressing videos on the subject too here & on IG which is extremely worrying.
Yeah Ive heard that too because "omg the companies dont wanna pay for that" bla bla haha. So instead I just made a dontation that is more than the adsense will be and we'll see how that works out I guess.
I’m so pleased you’ve stayed vocal about this cause. I’ve had some horrendous comments from people when I’ve voiced my support-so I can’t imagine the amount of grief you’ve had. Love your make up vids and so pleased you introduced me to Juvia’s Place-thank you!
Queen Citrongul 😉💚🍋 I wish I could do the waterline trick without wearing off my eye makeup in seconds because of my sensitive watery eyes 😑😑 La girl have a lime green eye pencil in their shock wave collection! Aka gotcha 😎😁 & a yellow called screaming 💛
Yes. To everything you said. Just the other day I caught my own ignorance and had to take a step back to reconsider my own ideas & lack of understanding of things. Right now is the time to be schooled about this. ♥
Ooooh. I'm living for this electric neon green! 🤩🤩 also, on a more serious note, thank you for standing up and being a firm ally. What you say about politicians making human rights political deeply resonates with me. I wish more people had that mindset here in the States. So much love to you! (Also, I'm certain your 100k subscribers will come soon!!)
Black girl watching here! I’ve been watching you for awhile now because you have been consistently supporting b.o.m.b companies always. There are so many people who think that black owned makeup doesn’t work for white skin when it’s usually the other way around. People want cool colors and popping pigment and fall for the advertising scam that makeup has a race
You have incorporated black advocacy and a human rights message into your videos in the most seamless way! These makeup items are the b.o.m.b., and so are you!
I know people say we shouldn't get praised for doing the bare minimum and I agree (nothing we do will ever be enough to repair the damage caused by white supremacy) but I still want to say thank you so much for using your platform to its full potential ! I was pleasantly surprised to see that quite a few of my favourite youtubers have done an entire video dedicated to the issue or have at least mentioned it in a video/have donated the Adsense (proof that I only watch cool people lol) instead of just posting hashtags on lnstagram, but it is still kind of sad to see how many big youtubers are being silent :(
That was beautifully said, I could not agree more with what you said. Thank you for using your platform to spread awareness 💚💚 Also, Your eye look is stunning!! Love the neon
Loved the whole look, especially the eyes!, Wow!🤩I would love to see the new B.O.M.B. video when the foundation comes in!!🤩😍🤩 Well said, unfortunately politicians will take any opportunity to twist an evil act to suit their needed talking points. This shouldn't even need to be a talking point!, how are there even people that think the color of one's skin determines the value of life?!!🤬 Melanin is not a measuring stick and human rights should Never Even Have to be debated!🤯 I just can't get People are People by Depeche Mode out of my head, because I too, can't understand what makes a man hate another man,☹ it just doesn't make sense.😞

I love this look and thank you for using your platform 🙏🏾
The CR safari raine palette is amazing! Love this eye look btw.
Human rights are not a political issue it's driving me crazy as well. Thank you for continuously using your platform to spread information and standing up. 💐🌻💖
I would love to see a video with your new Ouma Beauty products & whatever else you have! 💕💕
OMG!!! I looove this eyelook, I´m in love with neons, need to pick these neon pigment up!💚💛
Beautiful look! Well said Angie! I wish more people would feel the same as you.
Hey Angelic have you tried Uoma beauty? It's another black owned makeup brand, and I think some of their palettes could really be up your alley.
Love this look and the awareness that you are bringing
So well spoken! Great video :)
Thank you so much!
I love the Stunna Lip paint longwear fluid lip color in Unlocked - Vivid Pink from Fenty Beauty.
holy moley that eye look is amazing 😍
With your snake earrings, your look is like a neon slytherin look
This look is stunning also I’m so happy you are speaking up about these issues
Been off of YT for a bit, but could not miss a green eye and orange lip 😍 At a time where some are speaking just to say something, I find your words genuine and heartfelt 💞
I think you are one of the most sincere people and you have been talking about Black Owned Makeup Brands since I first found your channel. I am so happy that we are having these conversations! You are awesome!
Sooo glad you posted this. I’m currently getting my hair done and under the dryer.
Your eye look is amazing!
Ufff! This neon green look is booomb!💚😍
Thank you!
I don't think I've ever seen a green eyeshadow SO vibrant! Wow, this look is STUNNING!
Yes!!! thank you. i feel so helpless so when I see ppl on a big platform speaking out I feel like we are one step closer
Wow bandaids! I've never considered that, thank you! I love how you've articulated the message.
Yes. To everything you said. Just the other day I caught my own ignorance and had to take a step back to reconsider my own ideas & lack of understanding of things. Right now is the time to be schooled about this. ♥
Well said...thank you for taking a stand! BLM
Thank You 💜💜💜💜💗💗💗💗. I’m going to try all the brands you posted about in this video . I’m so happy to have you as an Ally!!!
The lip color! So gorgeous
Woah that green eyeshadow 😍
Thank you for using your platform to spread awareness 💚💚
Also, Your eye look is stunning!!
Thank you so much Angi for continuing to speak your mind. We all love and appreciate you!!!💙💙💙
Excellent intro Angie! Thank you. If that doesn’t clear things up for some people, their minds are turned off and there’s nothing else we can do right now. They won’t be ready until they’re ready.
