Today, Om is in the chair and he wanted a haircut transformation after getting tired of his hair after growing out his hair from a shaved head. This was Om's first haircut in 1 year, and he wanted a medium length flow haircut with texture that worked for his face shape.

Having thick, wavy hair like that is a blessing.
Unfortunately, no. I have a very similar hair texture, and my hair becomes very voluminous very quickly, making my head look way too big. So I’m pretty much forced to have short haircuts.
@LeonardoDiVaio I have the same hair type. It depends on how you manage it. Leave in conditioner helps a lot.

I had thick wavy hair. The barber would have to thin my hair before cutting. Now I’m 60 years old. Nature and time has thinned my hair. But, I still have it.

Not true. There were some 18 year olds and they were not saying that. Same with old men. A lot of the handsome compliments refer to just the end hairstyle. But I see what you mean. I’ve noticed it too

Ps After watching this channel for years, and picking up all the tips and knowledge, as a cut my hair guy for decades, I thought I did the best cut ever on my last one and was super chuffed that I was complimented by 3 different people when I went back to work! I have this exact haircut and through lots of trial and error found that clay works best for styling it like this.
People with short upper domes which often come with very small foreheads typically benefit from these "higher" hairstyles, cause it creates some volume in their upper third and it balances the face out

Still long enough to style different ways. The really short or almost bald are awful...plus constant visits to salon.
I agree, maybe a little shorter on the top and thinned out more at the back as it's gonna grow really quick so won't last long before it needs cutting again, so basically same cut but shorter top and back.
