Cody Helfrich not really, its only useful to show excursion, excursion on it's own has nothing, literally NOTHING to do with the amount of SPL the woofers produce, look at old Cerwin Vega STROKER (the variants with folded paper surround like PA subs) subs or PA drivers, they have low excursion and yet produce really powerful and loud sounds, ofc it has some real nice deep bass in it but hey its used way too much throughout the years, rather play something not as low like bass mekanik bass ballin or decaf music, most of those don't hit below 20hz, and 20hz is considered the lowest most people hear, speakers are about sound, not how much they can vibrate.

yep... had an equivalent pair that also sounded like ass... one 4OHM 350W bass amp and a half a second later... (the speakers got 240W @ 8OHM off it!) the cones were somewhere at the other side of the room and there was a fair bit of magoc smoke... I'm still looking for the voice coil of one of them... nowhere to be seen!!! XD

I plugged 2.7 ohm Panasonics into a 4 ohm amp and then weird another speaker in parallel. The amp blew and filled the room with smoke! :-(

First of all, the SU-X (never buy gears named SUX...) in question is 50W/channel into 8 ohms ans is not rated for 4 ohm loads. The little speakers are 4 ohms, so that's a user fail to start with. Beyond that, YOU HAVEN'T A CLUE.
If the amplifier said it was for 8 ohm speakers then it's very dangerous to hook 4 ohm speakers to it because you risk damaging your amplifier if you hook up speakers that are less than 8 ohms to it because the amplifier is stable at 8 ohms

My sister using speakers like this with her pc... and it sounds rly good... maybe not audiophile quality, and maybe not better than my audio, with subwoofers and big speakers, but still its not chinese 2w speakers :D
Well i have about the same ones, use it with a tiny amp on my old ps2 and i think they don't sound to too bad, i do have a bit off a higher wattage version and mines are wood your's look shitty plastic :P
