If you are enjoying his video you will enjoy seeing the results of an incredible car auction. Try this video on Elmer's Auto and Toy museum: ruclips.net/video/19DOguqhYFQ/видео.html
These cars are surrounded by movie cars. The place is huge - we have other videos showing the other collections. You really need a whole day to see the place and it is loud! Have fun and thanks for watching.
The dealership has a lot of nice cars at competitive prices. If you go to auction, you will find slightly lower prices but you’re paying a 10 % commission so you’re at the same place without Pressure buying. Your best investment is a clean, original documented vehicle, which is hard to find these days, but they are still around. I look forward myself to visiting them someday who knows I may even buy something ha ha . But probably seven vehicles is enough for me !
Wow awesome video! Thank you for sharing. Some are crazy expensive and some are reasonably priced. I've always wondered what Volvo Auto Museum was like.
Thanks for watching. The dealership is only one aspect of the museum. We do have a separate video on the movie cars and another on the other collections. The place is huge there is a jurassic park exhibit and antique mall. Something for everyone.
Have lived my entire 61 years within a 35 40 minute drive from Volo and knew of it but was only out there my first time about 3 years ago though I've since returned several times since. Mainly go for the movie and TV cars but also spend a bit of if I win lottery time in that building. They do have some behind the scenes non public shop facilities but no idea the extent of the resto work they do. Love that Cutlass as that was my first car in 78 though mine was gold and a ragtop.
This is a link on their website to the current inventory listing www.volocars.com/auto-sales/vehicles?q%5Bmake_eq%5D=Dodge I would copy and paste that into your browser. Another option is to call them - the number is 815.390.4853.
I believe they did. Their inventory was so vast and constantly changing. If you are interested I would give them a call. Their website is linked in the description. Thanks for watching.
Currently the price on the website is listed at 23.00 for adults. But hey if you buy a car they subtract that and I think you get free admission for a year!
I guess these people don't know that they purchase these vehicles in the condition you see them in here, they do not restore them, they buy them from all over America already restored. They do inspections on every vehicle, and repair any mechanical faults they find in the sop at the Volo car sales.
Good Lord, they know what they want. Thats why they are all just sitting there. As the lucky owner of 2 classic muscle cars myself that I was fortunate enough to get when the prices were fair, these rattle traps are not worth that much. I also had a GN and that thing was a typical 80s POS. Worse than my 60s cars. Sold it a few years ago for a fair price because I got it for a deal. Laughin all the way to the bank if they think these are worth that! ESPECIALLY in today's economy. Yeah, a few lucky peeps have $$$$ layin' around to buy a toy, but very few. That's why they sit. I bet the guy that dusts those babies is a Pro!
Remember an appraisal is someone's opinion of what an item is worth , and who's providing you with that opinion, why the car lot that's trying to sell you a car . If you are truly interested in buying a classic car , please do your homework . Do a Google search looking for your dream car and see what kind of prices are being asked for it , you could find out that the car you were looking at is way overpriced. Also , check out what others have to say about a particular dealership before buying from them . Numerous classic car dealers have poor BBB ratings .
Thanks for the tip. We really appreciate you watching. It is interesting to see what they go for at a dealership and of course at auction is a whole different perspective!
@@BrianandChristine1210 I would much rather see a person go into a potential major purchase with their eyes wide open , then to have that person come out of the purchase with their eyes opened wide from buyer's remorse .
Volo pumps up the prices and dumb money pays. People looking for a classic car should do their homework and buy from a private seller. Saw one for sale by private seller 35 grand, Volo bought it and listed for 48 grand.
A 1944 FORD ???? That's impossible because there existed no 1943, 1944 or 1945 models of any American car. During those 3 round years all industry efforts were consecrated to war production. Period!
More BS. I have had lots of old high performance cars. Pull in gas stations get tons of offers for my cars. The day I pit a for sale sign on the I get every jackass trying to run the cars down to get a better price. I don't sell my cars . I drive and enjoy. Let the tire kickers keep I'm the junk league. JMHO
These cars are only good for a museum. If you was to drive it and get dings n scratches on it ? Loyds of london wouldnt insure a $100,000 chevy lol. Show me a daily driver plz
All I can say if you plan on buying from these guys you better test drive them first. Bought a car from here and wish I would have never heard of the place.

Thx for the tour - born in 57 love seeing 60-70’s cars in mint condition !
Have to assume they are in excellent con’d under the hood !!! 👍😎🇨🇦
It was like being at a car show - only indoors. Thanks so much for watching.
I've seen both at the Volo Auto Museum - fantastic cars, inside and out, as well as some hiding rust and other issues underneath.
I live right by the museum!
I bet you get to go all the time! We have two other videos that show the museum if you are interested. Thanks for watching.
I put this place on my "Bucket List" (or whatever we call it these days). Thanks for the video; it gives me a little glimpse of what to expect!

Live near here. Place is always amazing
It seems like it is always changing. Would love to see the new titanic exhibit. Thanks so much for watching.
I have a Plymouth Scamp That was in the family since new. It's almost mint with 48,000 miles, all original 2 door with a 318 V8.
Mine was a 74! I'm very impressed - yours sounds like it is in peak condition.
@@Lovenesters Mine was a 73. My uncle purchased it new in 72

It would be so cool to see where they do the restoration work. That place is huge. We want to go back for the antique mall. Thanks for watching.
Wow this was awesome! I’d love to pull up to work with that Lamborghini Diablo one day. That’s was the highlight for me! 🙂
(No bloopers?)
Not this time - but next week there are quite a few! Thanks for watching and hope you get that Lamborghini some day.
at those prices you can keep the whole lot of them.
Carol - too rich for us too - but it is fun to look. Thanks for watching!
If you buy the car in the middle... How do they get the car out? 😮
Kind of makes you want to ask to take it for a tests drive, just to see how they do it.
2024 September... Time for the update video. Maybe the store will give you credit for selling & Marketing cars???
We have been talking about the need for a return trip. I can only imagine everything has gone up since we were last there.
They do have some nice cars but I think they are way overpriced on all the for sale cars!!!!
Interesting to see what people are willing to pay.
How can I get a inventory listing ?

Did they have Pontiacs at Volo?
I believe they did. Their inventory was so vast and constantly changing. If you are interested I would give them a call. Their website is linked in the description. Thanks for watching.

Rip off king. Restamp part numbers. False advertising .Do not buy from here .
Thanks for the perspective. Do you recommend any other classic car dealerships in the Midwest.? We would love to film another one.
