Hi John! "Sense" was commissioned for opening theme song for the anime Platinum End. The lyrics refer to the anime. The orchestral intro was not originally part of the song, Kanami composed it after the producers of the anime asked them to add one.
Sense was written for an Anime Platinum End , the Orchestral opening was composed by Kanami lead guitar , and no Pigeons were harmed during the making of the video Po .
Again, every favorite song is the last Band-Maid song you heard.

Nice!. The song Sense belongs to the self-titled single that Band Maid released in 2021. It has two songs on its B side, Hibana and Coralium, absolutely surprising. This is the band's tradition, to provide B-sides that live up to or even improve on the song being released. If you listen to Matchless Gum, Unfair Game, Choose Me, Screaming, Hide & Seek, Smile, Hibana and Coralium on a row you will realize that an entire top notch album could have been released just with those songs.

This video is really creative too ... just spotlights and feathers. It proves you don't need megabucks and CGI; you need a set designer and a director with imagination. It's an opening for an anime based on a manga, and the scenes look like drawings in a way.
