@MasterPedroJoe Besides, Huang Guang Yuan is a veteran modern Wushu Nanquan athlete. If some moves look like modern Wushu Nanquan (not Changquan), believe me, there are similar moves in traditional Wing Chun! Some look like parts of Chum Kiu or Biu Tze, but some people say all forms come from Siu Lim Tao, so... No harm done.
    Peace.

@jg82811 Say, do you have more info about Mr. Huang Guang Yuan? I've seen videos of him competing in All China Games back in 2005 and the 10th and 11th World Wushu Championships. Do you happen to know anything about his Wing Chun background, or if there were more Wing Chun practitioners in China Traditional Wushu Nationals?
    Greetings from Brazil!

@MasterPedroJoe I see your point, but I have to disagree. If you look at RUclips videos for a while, you'll notice there are as many ways of performing Siu Lim Tao as there are Wing Chun teachers - some do it fast, some do it slow; some have more movements, some have less - and it's all Wing Chun. What matters is the legacy - the family tree.

@jg82811 Oh, and don't mind me calling 詠春拳 "Wing Chun", and not "Yong Chun". It's just that the spelling "Wing Chun" is more popular where I live.
    Cheers.

@MasterPedroJoe i agree that this may seem a bit strange. but on the other hand this is a quite traditional wing chun set. maybe executed in a rather modern way. as far as i understand the division he's competing in is "traditional southern styles." and since wc is a traditional southern stylen of wushu i think it's okay to show this form. just my opinion :)

@jg82811 If by modern you mean breaking the form, the stance, elbow position etc, then I'll go with traditional. This is not wing chun.

I agree because in master tse's wing chun book breaking the form and changing some stuff is not wing chun but I just like to appreciate this because I never saw Wing Chun in wushu taolu tournaments before. I love Wushu and this made me feel alot more better. I don't care if someone says that it's not wing chun anymore but I just like it.
