HOW TO TEACH A BEGINNER STUDENT ~ lesson plan 🎹

In this detailed video we are going to go through how we teach beginners in MUSO Music Academy! ft. 5 year old Ryan Shu
If you’ve watched ‘Beginner lessons with Ryan Shu’ videos, you would know by now how we start off with introductions to 5-finger exercise (technique) + fingering game + flash cards + scales.
Once that is all done, this is how a typical MUSO lesson runs.
What we do in a typical beginner lesson (30 min lesson)
1. 5-finger exercise (5 min approx.)
2. Flash Cards (5-10 min)
3. Scales - 1 scale (5-10 min)
4. Pieces (15-20 min)
