Oh god, it brings me the memories of my first time playing... it was monday when i started playing and to be honest it was not that big day but this game really made me laugh for how simple it was.
Im playing it from 5 years and still find it simple (even if hard) and hilarious, aye aye, that's pretty much of how any game should be

Using normal cats against Bun Bun is quite literally the best viable way to beat him early on. Just meatshield and stack dragon cats and you will eventually win, you might have to use samba cat if needed for the extra meatshielding btw

Playing the entirety of The Battle Cats isn't a test of timing and resource management.
It's the ultimate test of persistence and how long you can hold on to your sanity before it all comes crashing down one way or another.

It's true, there is beauty in simplicity.
Battle cats has a very simple premise, but it is still extremely complex, to a level where levels can be very difficult just by pairing different enemy units.
Definetly a very good game worth to play

Never used it, I have other, much better and more powerful units.
Tbh it was when the youtuber was ya know, having issues with Bun-Bun, he struggled for a bit, when ya know a single freeze from the Shaman could have atleast turned the tide for a little while, but you know getting a bunch of treasure with dragon's really help a lot

its pretty good tbh, but it needs a buff to make the cat more bearable to the community like maybe a longer freeze time? because that would help
The doing a random event stage after winning chapter 1 is so accurate.
Wish teh game stressed more just HOW much the attack/defense treasures affect your units. Each set of treasures raises the stat by 50% from the base. And since there are 3 sets of treasures (one per chapter), the difference is... cats end up with 150% more hp/attack. (so if a cat had 100 hp before treasures, it ends up with 250 hp, for instance) it's a massive difference.

They should just rework the system entirely just make a BOSS level after a certain set of levels Made as preparation for it and boom depending on the time You finish you get the treasure it's tiring Boring and i've done it a thousand times

Legend stages in a nutshell: -hey this one has “hard” difficulty
-ok he will only be able to play it after beating into the future
-hey this one has bosses with millions of health, enemies that he hasn’t met, and crazed versions of cats that are almost invincible
-ok let him play them, he’s sure gonna have lots of fun spending all of his energy to die by a doge

I love how NKGs theme is just playing during EoC chapter 2 moon fight. One of the greatest game songs edited into a fitting fight.

The old version of battle cats only have normal and special cats so beating eoc without gacha is completely normal

Took me like 2 minutes
I had a certain glitch for a while that made me have to go through the loading every time I went into the game, and half the time the game crashed at 13, so it took me 15 mins to get into the game, only to do a cat fruit stage once and play another game

The fact the the cats you used were the basoc ones just makes the whole thing alot more impressive
By the time I reached Empire of Cats chapter 2 I had already obtained Bliza through a rare capsule by pure chance, and leveled up to Blizana, it tore through all of Empire of cats Ch. 2 and 3 until the moon.
Also, I never realized treasures were RNG based. I thought it was based off of score or speed or something.
I remember when I heard how difficult the bun bun stage was and I thought
I’d get destroyed but the thing was that I had collected all the treasures in chapter 1 and 2 and I destroyed him on my second attempt with no boosts!
i also i died of the first attempt but i beated him up in the second try i also did this with nyandam
I did it with an uber which i drew by rare cat tickets i had saved from chap 1
I got all treasures from chapter 1 and 2 and I beat bun bun on my first attempt
i took on bun bun without getting all the treasures and thought i was going to struggle but then i ended up absolutely annihilating him with my dragon stack and anti floating uber it was so satisfying
I did 1 cat challenge and beaten using castaway (lol) and with blessing (am dum)

I like that you added the Hollow Knight music in the final boss of chapter 2, it’s honestly one of my favorite games and that’s kinda how I feel like the music should be in my head sometimes.

and then the game hits you with another 3 chap of into the future, cats of the cosmos, event stages, crazed stages, manic stages, awakening stages growing stages, and who knows how many stages of legend stages.
There is a good reason this plays exactly like metal slug, even Metal Slug Defense back in its day got a collaboration with battle cats, simple games with no impressive graphics, but still that simplicity of it makes it amazing, there is a ton of units, and yes the grinding is real.
Whenever I finished chapter 3 moon about a couple of months ago, all I did was just spam retries with the catfood that I got from the free gold pass.

@PvPScHeIzE if you play the regular level which is not "No Continue" stage, you can close your app and re-open it, the game will restart and you will not loss your cat energy.
@PvPScHeIzE yes, that's how it works, if you choose to continue the game, your game will reset. Your cat energy and your power ups are all save. But you need to continue the game, or else you will lose those

I love the scaling in battle cats the first chapter is like a intro (it's really easy) the second one is showing you the game the third one is hell for f2p bun bun is strong and itf is a hard challenge cotc is just late story not to bad thanks to itf being complete but th aku and zombies are hard depending on which level and how good you are

I’m actually surprised at how hard people found chapter 3 moon as I was one of those players that decided to go all out on treasure hunting on every stage before moving on to the next stage xd

I used to constantly lose my save (my current is still alive for over 2 years) and i still enjoy the game. I recently cleared ItF chapter 3 (at a rather disappointing place) and decimated quite a lot more. Working on CotC while not doing Zombie missions in ItF thinking im too underpowered for the time being.

Holy shit, I’m so glad that I was able to pull a Megidora before I did any boss fights, so I didn’t need to prepare too much for anything. (I still don’t, Megidora is a hard carry for most of the game XD, I’m still dreading that damn Bun Bun, though)

I just started because my friend introduced me to it. It starts off pretty easy but gets really hard quickly
When I fought bun bun for the first time, I just used shaman cat and priest cat. I didn't have max treasures bc I didn't even know what the mechanic was at the the time lol.

I restarted BattleCats today, I hadn't even beaten Into the Future or gotten any true forms. I wasted so much xp on cats that were entirely worthless and had gotten depended on the Legeluga I had gotten basically at the beginning of the game. I pushed so late in the game never learning about managing the abilities of my cats, I ended up just deciding it would be better to just start over to get all of the benefits and xp. Not making the same mistakes again.
I was really down bad, I didn't learn to spam until after I had beaten all of Empire of Cats, I hadn't upgraded any cats with freeze or weaken effects, and I had spent like 10% of the xp I had made the entire game on my Legeluga.

I remember the day when battle cats is just world 1, 2 and 3, It's around 7-8 years ago and the only way to get bahamut is to get all other treasures and full dragon + meatshields.
Nowaday, you can win easily against bunbun with gatcha cat...
