In this video we head to Moreton Island to target Dart in the surf. My boy hasn’t had the pleasure of catching one of these powerful surf dwellers before and I want to show him how. He’s going to love battling them. There is a bit of technique required as they have soft mouths, so he’s going to have to learn to use the surf to his advantage as they will try to use the waves to theirs.

Hey mate, just wondering if you could suggest any good fishing spots on the Western side of Moreton Island near the resort? I’m going there for a quick trip in early January, have never gone and want to take some rods. Also, what is the best bait that you would recommend? Cheers, mate.

Hey there. You can fish for whiting and flathead to the south of the resort off the beach.
I heard fishing off the Tangalooma jetty can produce pelagics and other assortments of fish at times but ive never fished yhere to confirm times and baits.
