Coco Pops the discrimination and racism is counterproductive to the freedom and equality tht the west professes. Hypocracy is the LIT-EST thing in the west. Truth is bitter
Sally H its her choice, but i would definitely wear a hijab, well, if i was girl i would. But i like that sincere strong modest classic full hijabi look, i think dina should sometimes put on the full hijab as well, those will be the full hijab days, 👌😍
She is so right when she says don’t look at the number but try different sizes that flatter your figure - so many girls are stuck to the one size and no !!!It’s not flattering if the size is weird - I wear clothes that are like 14+ and I’m a size 12 - good video bro!!!!
I’m not Muslim but I love modest fashion. I really struggle in the summer though, it gets so hot. Literally wish for snow all year round to cover up comfortably 😂 x
A tip is to wear long dresses during the summer. I'm a muslim and I wear maxi dresses or abayas all year around. It is good for summer because it flows in the wind and cools you down and it is good in the winter because you can wear multiple shirts and legging underneath without it showing too much. :')
Sister I usually buy maxi dresses with long sleeve t shirt Aslo finding nice clothing that's kind of business /smart look Trousers and wereing kimbos as they are light and cover you arms without sufficating Aslo I try and buy long sleeve high neck bodysuit Light super Oversized shirts and tights looks really nice as well I'm finding it hard as well I'm from Australia as well
Dina!!! Pls do a video line on topics related to fashion e.g. basics to have in your closet, basic shoes, jackets, dresses etc.. It would be so helpful for those who have a limited budget but still want to have a good capsule wardrobe. I really enjoy your fashion vids so much! Thank you lots in advance!
Yessss!!! CELEB LOOKS FOR LESS. Please bring it back!!! Still remember when you did the Victoria Beckham one years ago. Defo more styling videos. Love ya xx
Absolutely love this video, great advice, I really really needed it. Would’ve loved to see some of the outfits and pieces put together just to have a better idea of what type of clothing pieces we could pick out and layer and how it would end up looking. But keep making these videos 👌🏼
This was so informative! Thank you!❤️❤️ I know you wear Turbans, but I'd love to know how to style collars with a Hijab. Any chance you'd be interested in making a tutorial on how to wrap the Hijab different ways and still show off the collar in a cute way? 😘
I think this is a great video for reverts that are trying to transition to dress more modestly from how they used to dress so that then they can stick with the changes and with time implement the bigger changes In Sha Allah. I remember when I reverted I didn't know where to start, looking back I should have taken little steps so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed with dressing modestly and struggling with it later on. These days abaya and jilbab are expensive too for a revert changing your all wardrobe at once it is going to break the bank. I wish I watched this video back in the days. Thank you Dina!!!
Isnt there an oldschooly one where ahe makes one from scratch and pairs it with a gold mossimo belt or something .. found it😉 ruclips.net/video/rmTZN8z2Yvk/видео.html
About the layering--> How exactly do you do that or like what do you mean by layering clothing? Lol because like you said, bodies don't stay the same throughout the year😂you should do a video of just you layering a couple of outfits and showing us how it looks😀😀😀THANK YOU DINA😍!!
2:37 wise words Dina. I'm a size 6/8 top but I always buy 10/12 because I don't want it skin tight, and man it's so much cosier and better looking on me.
Really enjoyed this and would love to see more look books from you. I love modest fashion and want to see more examples and more on the high street. :)
Idk if its the lip product, lip technique but whatever it is, your lips look naturally fuller and gorgeous! Suits you. Great video too, mature and realistic advice
I always wear oversized tops, too. I perfectly understand the sizing dilemma. I live in the sticks, we don't even have any actual shops to buy clothing so I have a very hard time finding modest clothing, which I really like to wear! Loving your new hair color.
I love how you weren't the slightest bit preachy in the video, when its so easy to come across that way when one is talking about modesty 💕 You were accommodating of all different perceptions of modesty
Absolutely Loove the bib idea, it's a life saver. And that green top from Coss looked amazing!! The colour is gorgeous. Please make more modest dressing videos x
DINAA!! I am a non-hijabi muslim and videos like these honestly REALLY REALLY inspire people like me to start wearing the hijab and dress modestly!!! i really appreciate this type of a video
Dressing in bigger sizes is a slippery slope. Eventually you’ll enjoy the comfort of baggy wear and look like a blob esp if you are 5ft under. It’s letting yourself “go”. However Great tips probably more applicable to women more concerned with hijab&being western modern.
Getting out of your comfort zone is so true! I used to think Zara was too expensive and completely not my style, and it turns out it's actually the exact opposite. Thanks for the tips Dina!
I had a few friends looked at me with surprise that I was 6/8 size but bought a size 12/14. But i managed to still worked it. Because some clothing felt uncomfortable by length and width. Either my arms are too long or my torso with long. But I preferred comfort then what I was expected to wear that is my size. Thanks for putting it out their. Because a lot of people need to know. That precise size wearing isn’t important. It’s important as an individual to be comfortable. I’m sure glad I inspired my little sisters to do the same. An thanks Dina for sharing.
I love your style, and I love how you cover up but stuff like the boyfriend jeans I can't wear 😭 because I don't like showing my ankles but it looks so good, and goes with so many outfits. And boyfriend jeans looks weird with socks lol
Please do a PART II of this video.. its very interesting and informative.. do a shopping video and show pieces to mismatch.. coz you are a mismatch queen...
I use to do that. I was obesseed with size numbers and would get happy if it was a smaller size. Yes it sounds shallow I have learned from my mistakes xx
Oh my life! I soooo understand what you're saying! I've been such closed minded at clothing AND size has ALWAYS taken control of what I buy and don't buy😞
I was gonna mention uniqlo too. I shopped there for the first time only last year and thought their style in general was very modest , wide cuts all round in tops and trousers
Salam Dina!!! Thank you so much for doing this!! loved it. I have a question... if I wanted to wear longer things say to my knees... how do I do that? I find it so difficult to do sometimes as most pretty baggy shirts are too short but long enough that something underneath looks a bit stupid. I Loveee your videos ! keep em coming. may Allah bless you and your family.
Lovely video!! I’m from South Africa , and we don’t get the collars and sleeves here. So everytime when I would look at your outfits , I always thought that you were wearin a shirt underneath or a long sleeved inner. I’m so blown away by those 2 things!! really wish we could get that in South Africa , especially because it’s so hot here it makes covering up and layering very difficult.
Do an everything 5 pounds haul and try make some outfits!!! I feel like they’re few and far between but some really quirky things that I think you could style really cool!

"you are whatever size which looks best on you" yaaaaaaassss 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Advice for everyone!
This youtuber has evolved into a mature, robust, fast, reliable and flexible model of how to exist as a n independent woman in the western societies. YOU R AN INSPIRATION MADAM DINA TORQIA
Syed Safi Razvi um western society promotes that already. It's eastern which doesn't
Coco Pops the discrimination and racism is counterproductive to the freedom and equality tht the west professes. Hypocracy is the LIT-EST thing in the west. Truth is bitter
Coco Pops tbh the biggest victims of racism are women irrespective of religion, culture, race, etc.
more like disgrace to hijabis
Sally H its her choice, but i would definitely wear a hijab, well, if i was girl i would. But i like that sincere strong modest classic full hijabi look, i think dina should sometimes put on the full hijab as well, those will be the full hijab days, 👌😍

Hi Dina. I wish you had inserted pics of examples that you were talking about, with you wearing outfits which showcased your point
Yes pls
not restricting yourself to a size of clothes is literally the best piece of advice ever!!!
I’m not Muslim but I love modest fashion. I really struggle in the summer though, it gets so hot. Literally wish for snow all year round to cover up comfortably 😂 x

Joanne Same girl, same 😂😝👏🏻
You should make a video on how to dress modestly in the summer!
Teach us how to dress up a basic abaya! Thank you Dinaaa 🤗🤗
Hope ray YESS PLEASE !!
In Australia, where it's an average 35-40 degrees in summer you don't have many options (especially layering)
Freshtaa R
D
Freshtaa R that’s true, bring a hijabi and living in australia is kinda hard, even during winter it’s like a standard autumn or spring day
Next summer will be my first summer dressing modestly. I'm so nervous about it lol it's so damn hot here!
Sister I usually buy maxi dresses with long sleeve t shirt
Aslo finding nice clothing that's kind of business /smart look
Trousers and wereing kimbos as they are light and cover you arms without sufficating
Aslo I try and buy long sleeve high neck bodysuit
Light super Oversized shirts and tights looks really nice as well
I'm finding it hard as well I'm from Australia as well
I think you have if you buy loose clothings where it gets airy
Is it weird that I've never seen a collar/bib ??!! OMG GENIUS! I need me one in every colour!
Aminafied I haven’t seen them either! They’re a very good idea.
We called them dickies. Covers neck and chest...back in the 60s. Wow I actually forgot about those...
Mango often has them, as does Cos
Dina!!! Pls do a video line on topics related to fashion e.g. basics to have in your closet, basic shoes, jackets, dresses etc.. Would’ve loved to see some of the outfits and pieces put together just to have a better idea of what type of clothing pieces we could pick out and layer and how it would end up looking.
But keep making these videos 👌🏼
Collar bibs are such a good hack... If you don't have one or find them in stores you could DIY the by cutting a shirt.
I've never seen collars in stores (I'm in America). Great idea!
This background and type of video reminding me of vintage Dina xxx
This was so informative! Thank you!❤️❤️ I know you wear Turbans, but I'd love to know how to style collars with a Hijab. Any chance you'd be interested in making a tutorial on how to wrap the Hijab different ways and still show off the collar in a cute way? 😘
Would love to see an abaya styling video!!!!!
Yes I remember the celebrity looks. Bring them back.

Do not let the size number define you ! That's some great advice ! ❤️❤️❤️ girls tend to be deprressed if they don't fit in Xs-S-size 0.

YOOOO this! Someone gets it!
Yes!!!! I've also started doing research and choosing the places where I purchase my clothes really carefully
Great video and super informative. I'm loving the bib collars. Never knew of those before but they are super handy for layering. Thanks 👍
