I talked myself into wanting the Hawks to sign John Wall after seeing him speaking with Jamal Crawford at summer league today, I think the hawks need another PG on the roster and I would trust him over Bufkin (especially with Bufkins injury history so far) to start for games where Trae is out. He’s also a good leader and would probably be a helpful voice next to Quinn.
Anyone who reads this what do you think?
I think he would be a good player coach if he were on the team but I wouldn’t start him over Kobe. His injury history is worse than bufkin injury history

John wall would be a great pickup , IF , Kobe Bufkin didn't have 2nd team expectations.. and from how those 2 young PGs been playing Defense in the summer league, we might be set at guard

wow, we look directionless and extremely rough out there. We even have a better roster than Spurs in SL..... painful to watch. Hope Risacher isn't "learning" anything from what he's experiencing right now.... I've played with strangers and had more continuity in YMCA pickup games. We've looked like a train wreck so far. It's the definition of organized chaos watching these guys.
Sloppy game without real point guard play and half-court organization. I think Risacher will look better playing alongside a true PG like Trae Young and a good passing PF like Jalen Johnson. Being a player that scores mostly moving without the ball and in catch-and-shoot mode, not having guys that feed him consistently is detrimental to his offensive performance. Heck, the best pass he got last night was a high-low pass by center Baker for a layup. Btw Brad, congrats on your 8 years in the podcast. Awesome job! Best wishes from Puerto Rico.

It was tough draft. Projected top picks year before kinda fell off. You really couldn't know who to draft this year. Future will tell but this draft looked kinda weak and hardest to predict. Hawks got unlucky getting first pick this year.
