I really like the way you break down and teach these lessons, it’s Ben really helpful for getting back into mandolin, especially the chords that I’ve tended to neglect to my own expense. I’ll be learning this one next I think.

Thanks David for breaking this tune down for us. Complicated it is with 4 parts. If I get obsessed with it, I may have to stick with it and learn it. Sounds like a fun tune. Not sure I'm as advanced yet, but always up for a bit of a challenge. Cheers,. Bob

Hey Tricia! I'm actually in the process of transcribing that album right now. I'm sharing the transcriptions with folks on Patreon if you're interested! Thanks so much for checking out my videos!

This is originally from Quebec and called Le reel du pendu by famous fiddler ti-Jean (little John) Carignan

Think they might be out of stock, but you should check in with Straight Up Strings to see if they have any more.

The bass on your backing tracks are always really solid. Do you do them?

Haha! Yeah, that is me. Thanks man! Still getting the hang of it, but I've had learning a bit more these past few months. Lots of editing on those tracks 😆😆
