- After its unveil at the previous Auto Expo, the final production version of the vehicle was finally showcased to media and we got the opportunity to drive it. While the first drive video will go live on 16th, in this video we tell you about all the changes it has received both inside and out. We have also spoken about the technical changes it has received over the now-discontinued iTurbo. For people not in the know, it's priced between Rs 9.49 lacs - Rs 10.99 lacs which makes it more affordable than its direct rival i20 N Line.

Owning 2020 August Altroz Diesel and that's the best engine for Altroz, agreed it doesn't do 0-100 in sub 10 secs does it in around 12-12.5 secs but in gear acceleration and the pull post 100 still remains strong 🔥 added with it is the fuel efficiency and load carrying capacity with fully loaded car + luggage and still pulling hard after 100 kmph all the way till 190 or more ( if you got the guts to push it on Indians road conditions)

Go for xuv 3x0 or nexon...both may not give you top end variant for your budget, but base to mid variant might be possible depending on where you live...

@@dhhavs I test drove the manual one... What a performance.. I dunno about the automatic... Nexon is also okay okay compared to 3x0,but way better than most other cars in this segment at this price range

It makes one wonder ki altroz ka future kya hai. It just cannot compete with maruti hatchbacks despite being a better offering. And with tata's focus completely being on punch, nexon and evs, altroz doesnt seem to be getting a proper facelift or new generation. It will die a slow death.

Not that excited with this, still not a real hot-hatch. Thora aur mehnat karna chahiye tha isme. At least a four cylinder engine with 200+hp would have been a game changer for Indian market. Most enthusiasts would easily give extra 2 lakh for that package. Uske badle racing stripe aur sunroof deke chor Diya.
Are Bhai Hyundai already try kar chuki he. I 20 n line was great in performance par sale zodo , even normal I 20 halat kharab he , isiliye ye Nexon ka engine dalke better price launch ki he.
I feel this kind of experiments and calling it "racer" is useless.
It's priced similar to the Nexon.
Altroz Racer should have got a major facelift and minimum 150ps power and 200Nm torque, as if now it's useless....

सब कंपनी वाले बस सस्पेंशन और स्टेयरिंग को stiff करके रेसिंग कलर करके पैसा कमा रहे है।
Tata ki cars change hoti hai lekin same 1.2 L 3 cylinder Revotron Truck wala engine rehata hai.. NVH level bakwas... same engine carried in Nexon... now atroz racer mein kahenge humne TUNE kiya hai engine for better refinement or performance... but everybody nows about Tata's engine... so no comparison and best option is always I20 N Line... refined and performer... Features are secondary... agar Features dekhate to POLO GT koi an leta...

@@NikhilSinghtherock "boat like handling" Nline outperformed JTP by 2 seconds in Autocar track time and even outperformed TSI polo 2020 by 1 seconds and had Narain praising it's cornering stability, steering feedback in 2024 Track autocar track. And Both TSI polo and JTP tiago are much faster than Racer Altroz. Racer is gonna be even slower than Zxi Swift that did it in 2m18 seconds, with its lack of rear disks, poor acceleration and eco tred tyres which are not confidence inspiring.

Altroz meri all time favourite car hai but still agar performance ki baat karein to N Line kaafi better hai Racer se, sirf engine and power output ke maamle mein hi nahi balki suspension and handling bhi.
Still, agar mujhe Lena hota to Racer hi leta because I'm biased towards it.

@@NikhilSinghtherock Zigwheels corning test me Creta ne Taigun, Kushaq etc aur Verna ne Virtus City and Slavia, dono hyundais ne sare competitors ko hara diya, ab isse unbiased manoge? 🤣 that cornering test is only good for showing the driver's reaction and how well the ESP of the vehicle works. Normal I20 in 2020 cornering test did nearly as good as altroz with soft suspensions, having better stability than Polo in the same test. Nline has already shined in Autocar track becoming the fastest mast market hatchback. While Racer will shine, but from the bottom of the list
