I realized when watching this that Holland's Spiderman hasn't directly killed anyone unlike McGuire or Garfield, so this idea that he doesn't want to stop Spiderman villains who were killed by other Spidermen is interesting.

My theory: the last scene where Strange is saying that they’re all coming through, he’s expecting more villains or he sees more villains coming but at the last minute Tobey and Andrew follow through after whatever nasty monster and the reactions to them will be right after this scene.
Actually it seems that the events of LOKI happen and it kicks off the Doctor Strange movie. So not everything is spiderverse. It could be the end of the movie like infinity war.
Agreed, Willem Dafoe portrayed the goblin SO WELL in the 2002 version that the costume doesn’t feel tacky, it is very ORIGINAL thanks to Dafoe’s fantastic performance! His performance outshined people’s expectations and opinions of how the goblin should look and be portrayed

When Strange mentions that the villians deaths from their Spider-Man is fate, I really hope he compares it to Tony's sacrifice against Thanos. That their deaths are an absolute point in time, and no matter what Strange can't change it.

Let's also not forget that the Andrew Garfield footage that was leaked is him on a scaffolding set which basically confirms that he is in the movie just by seeing the ending there! Wouldn't be surprised if that Spiderman hand is actually Andrew Garfield getting a bit of a redemption referring back to Gwen Stacey death scene.
And Tobey was making fun of Norman by calling him Gobby too but some people in the comments don't wanna acknowledge that and continue to bash on Holland for staying true to the character by being quippy. It's so apparent at this point that they don't actually understand or care about Spider-Man as a character, they're more fans of the actors and will hate any other rendition of the character that isn't them. I still remember how toxic the Raimi/Tobey fanboys were about getting the suit from that trilogy added to the PS4 game. People were literally harassing the game devs over it.

Somehow Willem Dafoe actually sounds even MORE terrifying than he did as Green Goblin in the first movie 20 years ago. Also I didn’t think that they would change Jaime Foxx’s look for Electro but thank god they did. Not only does it look a lot like the suit from the Spider-Man PS4 game but when he charges up he has the classic comics looking electricity mask.

I love Benedict’s delivery on that last line dude sounds genuinely worried about the multiverse when for the most part he’s calm and collected even when he’s trying to figure out how to kill thanos he never sounded worried like that.

I don't think Strange was talking about tobey and andrew when he said "I can't stop them". That's not what someone who senses good guys coming would say. If I had to guess I'd guess he's talking about sandman, electro and the lizard Edit: Ok, after thinking about it a little more I still think he's talking about villains, but not any of those five. I'm guessing that while peter's fighting the five that already went through Strange has to try to stop more from coming in. That would give strange something to do during the final battle that would make him unable to help peter
since Strange himself admits he knows very little about the mulitverse, it's possible that he really doesnt know who's coming through the portals. So it being the other two spideys is a possibility i guess.

The costume Goblin is wearing when he zips by in the "hood," looks to be completely different than the one they initially show him in. I think he either gets a new suit or there are multiple Goblins in this.

You can see that in the scene where Tom clashes with the three villains, each villain is looking respectively what's in front of them, not at Tom. Also, Sony Pictures Brazil's Twitter account forgot to cut a few frames from that scene. You can definitely see that the Lizard got smacked mid air by something invisible.
I'm thinking that could be Miles Morales. He has the ability to turn invisible just like when he fought Liv/Dr. Ock from Into The Spiderverse. Or probably not because Sony doesn't wanna do a live action version of Miles Morales. I dunno we'll just have to wait.
I seriously don't think there's been a single movie that i've been more hyped to see than this movie. seeing all these characters come back and these actors reprising their roles is something i never thought i'd see. The greatest Spider-Man stories are the ones that are emotionally heavy and this is setting up to be the heaviest one. Literal chills with the opening shot of him in the rain.
Some things of interest: 1. Strange says they all died fighting Spider-Man, but Electro, Sandman, and Lizard all survived their movies. 2. In the shot with Lizard Electro and Samdman all attacking Peter you can see that Lizard is nowhere near Peter. Implying he’s jumping at someone who has been removed from the shot.
I was just thinking about this. Peter says that he “can’t save everyone” and we saw MJ fall and Ned was dangling on that pole. What if he dives to save MJ but can’t save Ned. Ned falls seemingly to his death and then comes back later as Hobgoblin and is pissed that Peter didn’t save him. I’m sure it wouldn’t happen that way but still😂😂😂
That last moment with MJ falling similar to Gwen... Man, I don't think I can handle all of these emotions!!! As a longtime fan of Spiderman since the Sam Raimi trilogy, I'm very hyped to see this!!!

This trailer gave a little more taste to what's to come while still keeping it quiet on 100% of what's going on and I actually enjoy that a lot. Also, you can definitely tell some scenes are edited to avoid showing too much which is really smart marketing just like how they did with Infinity War.

I think the reason why Strange is struggling to close the portals in the end scene is because Wanda is simultaneously trying to open the portals to search for her kids.

Check out Lizard, he is NOT focused on Tom Holland. He’s attacking someone or something below him, but nothing is there? Clearly Sony/Marvel removed another character from the trailer. I guarantee that shot has all 3 spidermen in it.

I love Benedict’s delivery on that last line dude sounds genuinely worried about the multiverse when for the most part he’s calm and collected even when he’s trying to figure out how to kill thanos he never sounded worried like that.

I'm guessing that while peter's fighting the five that already went through Strange has to try to stop more from coming in. You can see that in the scene where Tom clashes with the three villains, each villain is looking respectively what's in front of them, not at Tom.
Also, Sony Pictures Brazil's Twitter account forgot to cut a few frames from that scene. You can definitely see that the Lizard got smacked mid air by something invisible.

This trailer gave a little more taste to what's to come while still keeping it quiet on 100% of what's going on and I actually enjoy that a lot. Also, you can definitely tell some scenes are edited to avoid showing too much which is really smart marketing just like how they did with Infinity War.
