I prefer Angelina's version of the song, but that isn't to take anything away from Whitney. They are two different vocal ranges and styles, so it's all preference. Whitney was more or less a POP/Saprano whereas Angelina is a BluesJazz/AltoMezza. But I do agree, in 12 more years, the way Angelina is growing and developing her vocals, she will be off the charts amazing. I would love to be around to see that, but don't hold out hope of seeing that age.

In this fantastic interpretation she is just like a princess with a voice so warm that would melt the ice. Please watch also the videos of her from the first weeks of July of her 3 concerts in Norway, they are simply wonderful, her return to the stage has been legendary, after more than two years. The best sound quality comes from Mattias Axelsson's or Alexander Holthoer's personal RUclips channels. This was also the last song in the last concert on July 10th in Sandefjord it was a beautiful interpretation even more passionate than this one, full of affection and which she dedicated to her grandmother Mary, it was really moving, completely full of her love and passed it on to all of us who were in the audience. I still vividly remember your reaction to her when she did this song at age either late 12 or early 13 (her fans can't really decide..LOL) Now, at age 16, you can clearly hear the changes in her voice. It has matured beautifully and dropped an octave generally. She's always had a deep register for her age, but the support she has now is just incredible. And so is her lung capacity. At 6'1 (1m 85 cm) you would think that there's enough space for some huge lungs, right ? That, coupled with her extreme diapraghm strength, makes for a force to be reckoned with, pure dynamite 🙂 And we haven't even talked about her timbre.... She is a one off, no doubt about it. Her upcoming album has the potential of being epic. It is due out early next year, like a belated Xmas gift. But one worth waiting for ! Thanks for coming back to Angelina..seems like a lot of past reactors have decided to come back to the greatest generation vocalist in our lifetime, IMHO. Please watch also the videos of her from the first weeks of July of her 3 concerts in Norway, they are simply wonderful, her return to the stage has been legendary, after more than two years. The best sound quality comes from Mattias Axelsson's or Alexander Holthoer's personal RUclips channels. This was also the last song in the last concert on July 10th in Sandefjord it was a beautiful interpretation even more passionate than this one, full of affection and which she dedicated to her grandmother Mary, it was really moving, completely full of her love and passed it on to all of us who were in the audience. Now, at age 16, you can clearly hear the changes in her voice. It has matured beautifully and dropped an octave generally. She's always had a deep register for her age, but the support she has now is just incredible. And so is her lung capacity. At 6'1 (1m 85 cm) you would think that there's enough space for some huge lungs, right ? That, coupled with her extreme diapraghm strength, makes for a force to be reckoned with, pure dynamite 🙂 And we haven't even talked about her timbre.... She is a one off, no doubt about it. Her upcoming album has the potential of being epic. It is due out early next year, like a belated Xmas gift. But one worth waiting for !
