21:28 NS 4004 as part of a lash-up heading to its train
Great grab bag. And great catches. Keep up the great work VR.
I loved the juvenile eagle at Big 10 Curve Arvada!
Hopefully no one was hurt when that car went on the railroad tracks, they are lucky they got it off the tracks before an NS freight train crossed the road, I have never seen a see through autorack before on trains, I will sure miss those ST70AHs since CSX is returning them back to Progress Rail, love seeing that Conrail heritage unit DPU, that CPKC with the every child matters unit leading was neat along with the KCS locomotive trailing, love the waves from the cameras. Your grab bags are very entertaining for people to watch and enjoy, lots of cool old locomotives on the freight trains, love these long American freight trains,I like seeing passenger trains on the cameras, this is a great grab bag for everyone to watch and enjoy
All highway/rail crossings have emergency call number posting/signage to report situations like this to the railroad. Even if driver doesn't proper police (once they were notified) and probably proper tow outfits should have been trained to do the notification process in their procedurals.
Why is CSX returning the V-12s, I thought these engines had the bugs out of them.
@@kittty2005The ST70AHs that CSX has were for short lease, all of them have been retired
@@TheMetGuy All as in every railroad or just CSX?
One other question what is the DMV area?
I like that gray and yellow paint job on that flame NS it's pretty cool looking
Wow Chehalis sure does have a lot of weekend cyclelikelists!!
These videos just keep getting better and better
So much to see as usual! Very nice..
I was on the Decatur railcam when those ex-CSX ST70AH's went by. Pretty sad honestly they were my favorite locomotives
I love when virtual railfan does IRL streams
11:41 Goodbye, ST70AH engines. You had a great run.
So, I guess they're going to the PRLX lease fleet? I thought they looked kind of neat, but that horn was kind of weak for a big road unit.
@@WaffleDragon THAT'S NOT TRUE! YOU'RE JUST MAKING THAT UP!
Stop it, get some help.
@@WaffleDragon yeah, he just wanted attention
First off the bat with a yellow war bonnet? New one to me.
As dinged and smudgy as she was, she looked good coming around the bend in full sunlight!
Heavenly Father please don't let me get stuck on tracks in front of the VR cameras.
Excellent Video
🌺🌷🇮🇳🌺🌷
*Awesome*
That orange Canadian Pacific loco was hot, ngl.
2:42 That was a nice sp hydra cushion boxcar
I knew the Tour de France race should have taken a left turn at Albuquerque.
I saw the train on virtual railfan around 14:10 on the actual live stream
NS Research 34 at 21:13 is a geometry unit, but NS Research 38 is the geometry unit with "The Brick" painted on its side
No end to those needing a drivers test..lol
This is the best Grab Bag EVER!!
TRAAAIIIIN TIIIIIME
wow what a week
Looks like Elkhart repeats it history all over again from 2 year ago
Does Elkhart, IN want to be the new LAGRANGE, KY?
that kind of thing happens a lot in Ashland, VA.
I am still totally amazed by the number of people that turn their car onto tracks. How do they explain that behavior? They probably have to pay a police citation and towing charges.
Looking at the time stamp on that video, it's likely that adult beverages were involved.
That driver has the awareness level of a potato, they were just stopped for the crossing gates before they drove onto the tracks.
Lol😂😂, railfan running in the background
2:34 CHEHALIS BABEYYYYY
Nice lash ups in Elkhart, Waupaca, and Roanoke!🛤🚂👍
Is leasing power becoming more common?
I’m guessing the guy that drove on the tracks did NOT pass the field sobriety test!!! Lol.
Any idea why Amtrak #2 was in tow by CSX?
Going to beech grove for repairs
WE WANT TO SEE AN NS TRAIN ON NS RAILS AT DECATUR, ALABAMA!!!
12:35 Oopsie. Forgot to put a "3x" or something in the corner.
And Why Csx Train Got Amtrak Locomotive In 15:06 ?
💯🔥💯🔥💯😄😁😀😃🤩💰🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆
The cyclists were part of the annual STP race (Seattle, Tacoma, Portland).
Are Those Locomotives Return To Service In 11:39 ?
Returned to builder. T
Csx got 10 in 2019. Apparently didnt take long for them to decide they didnt like them
Those are now leasing, SD70ACe-T4 is pretty much unreliable and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, CSX once "ironically" do have few SD70ACe but they retired those around 2017
@@CRPULSE300 That's just not true!
@@TheRealRajo6466 Are you crazy?!
@@gloria6229 "are you crazy?!"
Pretty dumb question, if you ask me
Well aint that sumpn, 4 different horse head cabs yellow, pink, red, and black, the pink is new to me I'm guessin it's for breast cancer awareness.
I wonder if there is a way to get ahold of someone who knows when a train will be coming by to know how much time they have to remove the car
The police department calls the railroad dispatchers office and they instruct all trains to stop before they get to that crossing if they are relatively close, or they set the signals closest to the crossing to stop.
All highway/rail crossings should have signage posted (check it out sometime) that contains emergency use phone number to railroad as well as rail location info to reference.
I was up in Washington and a gate was malfunctioning, looked around and called phone number on big metal cabinet it says "call this number to report problem", I did, connected me with dispatch in Texas, within 20 minutes maintenance truck pulls up and starts to work, trains now approach crossing at 10 mph or less (not the usual 60 mph), and maintenance guy flags crossing for trains. So call number on steel cabinet! You might be in rural area.
I forgot about the boxes. Thanks guys. Good to know
🇳🇱👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀💯💯
These drivers never learn
Always great train action here
on Virtual Railfan Grab Bag.😊
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
1:44 I think work release is opening.
Bro ns 1066 passed flagstaff
Is NS running Sonic the Hedgehog locos?
Should have said:"In 50 feet, turn right, crash your car and suffer unending embarrassment".
14:10 anyone got the number of that first warbonnet?
8463
I still think that all Heritage units should have the horn from when they roamed the rails
I don't see why the tow took the time to do it by the book, I'd just throw the line in the tow hook and drag it off the tracks!
If the auto driver did not call the railroad emergency number (which is posted on all crossing gates, posts, etc), which apparently all things considered here they weren't likely, as soon as the police, and most likely if it was a proper tow operator as well, were notified standard procedure would be for them to call the situation in to the railroad to control any area train movements.
@@kennethhanks6712 I think he was trying to say the driver deserved to have his car simply drug off the track by the tow truck.
@b3j8 Ah, but you have to be as careful as possible not to disturb/damage track, etc more than necessary and once railroad notified (I believe I saw one of their maintenance vehicles at end of clip) would want to inspect that section to insure it was still safe to operate!
@@kennethhanks6712 Agreed. And that driver is pretty lucky. Busy crossing!
Does anyone know what happened when the woman intentionally left the car on the tracks?
I think someone said they caught her.
7:51 what was that?
Jet Engines without the cowlings?
those bikes might be part of the annual STP ride. Seattle to Portland. It was this past weekend.
No darwin award for driving on the tracks? Y'all getting picky.
10:08 Looks like someone needs a field sobriety test.
On the citation what will he get ticketed for leave comments
what is PRLX
Reporting Mark for Progress Rail that owns EMD Locomotive Manufacturer.
Start the score card for Elkhart:

21:59 Hang loose
No one cares about the bicyclist
Yeah, I just forwarded it, it was annoying
Lots of really cool old cars pass through that intersection in Chehalis, WA. 🛻🚗🚙
