How does this not have more views? It's a seamless version, and it has no ads. What more could you ask for? Shows what RUclips has come to. But none of that matters, as long as 808 State stays.

@@angelalane8660 I turned 50 recently. Saw 808 State in Long Beach with Bjork. What a treat. So lucky to be a part of that early LA illegal underground acid house scene. We all knew it was illegal, everyone was different, there really wasn't a rave culture yet. I was and still am a punk and was dancing with people into all different things. It was beautiful. I talked a friend who I went to those events with into getting a Maschine MK3 to make music, I had just bought one, now he has one, hope we can collaborate. I create a pattern, send it to him, he toys with it, sends it back. I am looking forward to it, we are both in the learning stages.
Still got this on vinyl and Newbuild, extended pleasure of dance and ninety, They started of as a group called biting tongues, I never did get prebuild

What a fantastic album! I grew up near Manchester but I was about 5 years too young for the Hacienda and all that but this is a total treasure from that amazing era of music that changed culture so much.

Just why would "the record company" intentionally screw up these mixes for the US release of "Utd. 90?" These mixes and songs are far superior than what got released on Tommy Boy records in '91 and '92!
because that's what record companies DO. They're asshats. They don't care about the artist or their music, only how much money they can bring in. Sad but true.

The Acid part left 808 state with a guy called Gerald. It was for the best he went on to do some spectacular releases post 808 state.
