    Keep doing exactly what you're doing. Don't listen to ignorant people who think you need to speak native English to make videos. Also, I like to hear your thought process while you're working.

    I didn’t find a problem with your English. In fact, I personally found your voice rather comforting, so I would recommend you keep speaking. I love the pipe. Haven’t made one yet, but I have a good friend who smokes a lot of loose tobacco, so I’ve always wanted to try making one.

    Beautiful mate! Kinda reminds me of an oyster mushroom.
    I don't think you talk too much and honestly, your English is better than some people I know personally and I AM English!
    I need to get a piece of briar for my next attempt at pipe making.

    • @HallbeamDesign
      @HallbeamDesign  17 дней назад +2

      The shape and the color of the pipe body is very similar to a very popular mushroom here in Sweden. Order some briar root and just begin making them. Briar is very easy to work with as it is a hard speices of wood, with really nice grain.
      Thank you and ill se your creation instagram 😀

    Outstanding work sir. I used to smoke a pipe back till 1978 and have been thinking about getting back to that relaxing habit.
    I live in America and believe me, I’ve heard worse English from some Americans so go right ahead and narrate your videos. I can understand you clearly.

      Thank you sir!
      It seems very relaxing. Here in Sweden the most common is using "snus" very similar to your "dip" or other nicotine pouches suchs as VELO in America. Not as relaxing as pipes but very effective.
      I am pleased to hear that you think I should continue with the voiceovers.
      Thank you 🙂

    I think u should keep up with the voice over videos. Ur videos have help me get the right tools needed to make a pipe. I am going to make a churchwarden pipe. It would be really cool if one of ur future videos is on the process of make a churchwarden.

    • @HallbeamDesign
      @HallbeamDesign  Месяц назад

      One of the coming videos will include a churchwarden. In two different ways of making them.. :)
      I glad i can help you with getting the right tools. I had the same problem a time ago. I did the same as you and watched other makers. Most of them use really expensive tools lathes and similar stuff. I found that there is a lack of videos regarding this subject with "simple tools"
      I'm happy the accent does not make the voiceover unbearable :)

    Great video, I love your dry sense of humor. You should definitely continue narrating your videos. I also love the little blemish on the side of the pipe, it gives it some cool character. Also, thank you for talking about the mistakes you make, I think a lot of people are hesitant to do things, and share them with others, because they are afraid of it not being perfect. I hope to soon start my own channel on leather work, thank you for sharing your creations with the world and inspiring others.
    Also, you should definitely get a drill press. A little bench top model would be perfect for your pipe making.
    I look forward to seeing what you create in the future, and I hope to some day see you at one of the international pipe shows showing off your fabulous hand made pipes.

    • @HallbeamDesign
      @HallbeamDesign  Месяц назад

      I think the blemish is similar to harry potters scar. But on a pipe.
      I think you are completely right regarding that people are hesitant. I have friends and people i work with that are hesitant to show their work for me sometimes. I think the work they have done is great. Often it is the maker of the product that only see all of the blemishes.
      Leather is a subject that I would really want to get into. But I think I'm way to far away to being able to start producing videos about it. I would love to dress the inside of a nice wooden accesory box with dark tanned leather.
      I actually have a drill press!. Dremel sent me their drill press which you can attach nearly any dremel Rotary tool to. I didn't use it in this video due to me wanting to show that it's possible to do without it. The dremel drill press is really good though.
      I'm honored. I look forward to you starting a channel with your future leatherwork. Im going to make a video about why i started this channel very soon. There are many reasons why and it has been a lot of fun and a lot of hard work.
      Thank you for your comment.. :)
      It has been a pleasure.

    • @HallbeamDesign
      @HallbeamDesign  28 дней назад

      Yes! Most of the time I build and sell furniture and end grain cuttingboards though.
      I started making pipes about 1.5 years ago, I make them with very simple tools and briar root. Which is the premium speices of wood for pipes.
      It all started as a hobby when a friend (who smokes sometimes) wanted a pipe and I made him one in exchange for a really nice juice blender, and then more people wanted pipes.
      Long answer, but now you know 🙂
