Keep doing exactly what you're doing. Don't listen to ignorant people who think you need to speak native English to make videos. Also, I like to hear your thought process while you're working.
I didn’t find a problem with your English. In fact, I personally found your voice rather comforting, so I would recommend you keep speaking. I love the pipe. Haven’t made one yet, but I have a good friend who smokes a lot of loose tobacco, so I’ve always wanted to try making one.
Beautiful mate! Kinda reminds me of an oyster mushroom. I don't think you talk too much and honestly, your English is better than some people I know personally and I AM English! I need to get a piece of briar for my next attempt at pipe making.
The shape and the color of the pipe body is very similar to a very popular mushroom here in Sweden. Order some briar root and just begin making them. Briar is very easy to work with as it is a hard speices of wood, with really nice grain. Thank you and ill se your creation instagram 😀
Outstanding work sir. I used to smoke a pipe back till 1978 and have been thinking about getting back to that relaxing habit. I live in America and believe me, I’ve heard worse English from some Americans so go right ahead and narrate your videos. I can understand you clearly.
Thank you sir! It seems very relaxing. Here in Sweden the most common is using "snus" very similar to your "dip" or other nicotine pouches suchs as VELO in America. Not as relaxing as pipes but very effective. I am pleased to hear that you think I should continue with the voiceovers. Thank you 🙂
That I don't know. But i'm taking your word for it :) I think more people should think the way you do. There is a great clip regarding this when a young boy is trying to interview a great football player in the players language. The audience is laughing because of the pronounciation but the player intervenes and is honored.
I think u should keep up with the voice over videos. Ur videos have help me get the right tools needed to make a pipe. I am going to make a churchwarden pipe. It would be really cool if one of ur future videos is on the process of make a churchwarden.
One of the coming videos will include a churchwarden. In two different ways of making them.. :) I glad i can help you with getting the right tools. I had the same problem a time ago. I did the same as you and watched other makers. Most of them use really expensive tools lathes and similar stuff. I found that there is a lack of videos regarding this subject with "simple tools" I'm happy the accent does not make the voiceover unbearable :)
Very good! Please send photos of your creations later. Find yourself some good briar root and get going. You won't regret making a own pipe. Good luck! 🫡
Agree about doing every stage. So many channels that you look at for information, even on beginner how to vids skip over the basics/routine steps. Your voiceovers are great & the accent very cool. Keep on, keeping on. Ady☮️
Pipes are definitely in my near future, I just need to finish these spoons first. Thank you for the "broken" English instructional video. Also, 8:25 I wasn't expecting that pleasant surprise.
I'm enjoyed that the majority of people commenting are pro "broken english" You will forever be remembered because of your great tip. It's a pleasure. Good luck regarding the future pipes! 😀
@HallbeamDesign I'm happy to hear it was useful. Thanks for the luck. I'll need it. Ps: I think any native english speaker could hold a conversation with you which is quite impressive.
Great video, I love your dry sense of humor. You should definitely continue narrating your videos. I also love the little blemish on the side of the pipe, it gives it some cool character. Also, thank you for talking about the mistakes you make, I think a lot of people are hesitant to do things, and share them with others, because they are afraid of it not being perfect. I hope to soon start my own channel on leather work, thank you for sharing your creations with the world and inspiring others. Also, you should definitely get a drill press. A little bench top model would be perfect for your pipe making. I look forward to seeing what you create in the future, and I hope to some day see you at one of the international pipe shows showing off your fabulous hand made pipes.
I think the blemish is similar to harry potters scar. But on a pipe. I think you are completely right regarding that people are hesitant. I have friends and people i work with that are hesitant to show their work for me sometimes. I think the work they have done is great. Often it is the maker of the product that only see all of the blemishes. Leather is a subject that I would really want to get into. But I think I'm way to far away to being able to start producing videos about it. I would love to dress the inside of a nice wooden accesory box with dark tanned leather. I actually have a drill press!. Dremel sent me their drill press which you can attach nearly any dremel Rotary tool to. I didn't use it in this video due to me wanting to show that it's possible to do without it. The dremel drill press is really good though. I'm honored. I look forward to you starting a channel with your future leatherwork. Im going to make a video about why i started this channel very soon. There are many reasons why and it has been a lot of fun and a lot of hard work. Thank you for your comment.. :) It has been a pleasure.
I'm only 5 minutes in but KEEP MAKING VIDEOS! Your voice is great, your explanations are wonderful and you do a great job of showing what you're doing and telling the viewer why (and/or how) it's done. Good stuff, keep it coming please!
I also like watching videos of people building natural form homes in the deep woods out of found material. It's a dream I've had since I was a kid to do that myself and someday I will.
I agree. There is something about it that makes me feel calm. Imagine building a timber house/cabin and beeing able to live there for some month in a year.
Nice work! My father had a carver make a pipe for me years ago. The wood is cherry and the bowl is carved into the shape of a boot, It also has laces. I use it on occasion and people always comment on it.
Thank you! There are a lot of truly unique shapes and sizes regarding smoking pipes. I don't smoke pipes myself but enjoy the process of creating them. I have quite a bit of cherry stored just for this purpose 😀 Thank you for your comment!
Hey. I really enjoy your videos. The voice makes it unique. I will be trying my own pipe very soon. Can I ask where you got the ring from? Maybe you covered that in the video but if you did I missed.
Didn't cover this. When I ordered the acryllic mouthpiece i ordered it with the ring attached. It is possible to order rings by themself and attach them later. I did a video about this earlier this year. So long i have ordered everything from janzen-pfeifen.de which is a german website. They have a lot of products and tools for pipe making. I pay via PayPal and get my order in about 3-6 days to Sweden. Hope this helps! :)
Yes! Most of the time I build and sell furniture and end grain cuttingboards though. I started making pipes about 1.5 years ago, I make them with very simple tools and briar root. Which is the premium speices of wood for pipes. It all started as a hobby when a friend (who smokes sometimes) wanted a pipe and I made him one in exchange for a really nice juice blender, and then more people wanted pipes. Don't stop narrating your videos. You have a perfectly understandable English speaking voice, and the videos would lose their charm if it was just text on screen or another narrator.
Keep doing exactly what you're doing. Don't listen to ignorant people who think you need to speak native English to make videos. Also, I like to hear your thought process while you're working.
Thank you for this. I myself enjoy similar videos 😀
I find that your English is very understandable, and seems fluent.
I spend a lot of time trying to make the videos fluent. Thank you for this.
I didn’t find a problem with your English. In fact, I personally found your voice rather comforting, so I would recommend you keep speaking. I love the pipe. Haven’t made one yet, but I have a good friend who smokes a lot of loose tobacco, so I’ve always wanted to try making one.
It is a lot of fun and you probably wont regret making one 😀

@HallbeamDesign I will! Maybe after Christmas when I have some spare money though! Lol
@Bridgercraft one piece of briar usually goes for about 5-10 dollars. A perfect christmas gift.
@HallbeamDesign any idea of a good source that ships to the UK?
@Bridgercraft www.janzen-pfeifen.de a german website. Payment through paypal. I recieve my order to sweden in 3-6 days
Bro your English is perfect dont worry. Great vid
Great! Thank you. Soon there will be another one.
This was a very informative and interesting video. I have had no problem understanding your narration. Please continue.
This is really good feedback. Thank you 🙂

Thank you! Me too! There will be more videos like this soon 🙂
Your English is much better than my Swedish.

There is a great clip regarding this when a young boy is trying to interview a great football player in the players language. The audience is laughing because of the pronounciation but the player intervenes and is honored.
I think your English is fine, keep doing what you are doing on your videos.
This feedback is great! There will be more videos soon :)
Amazing looking pipe, I don't pipe smoke, but I really appreciate the craft!
We are the same! I also don't smoke pipes and really enjoy making these.
Thanks for your comment.

some people are not happy with them selves ,, your english really good
I believe you are correct about the part where people are not happy with themselves. Thank you for this comment :)
Keep making them you do will I enjoy watching them
I will! Thank you for this comment 🙂
Please keep the voice over, your videos have such a calmness with it ❤
I'm happy the voiceover seems to be the most wanted alternative. New video will be uploaded soon! 😀
Thank you for this video. I always wanted to make my own pipe and this has inspired me to do so. The explanation helps a lot.
Very good! Please send photos of your creations later. Find yourself some good briar root and get going. You won't regret making a own pipe.

Thank you for this really good feedback. It seems like we value the same things 😀
Very good work my friend. I enjoy your videos and your attention to detail. That oioe is gorgeous by the way and i fell in love with the style of it.
I glad you find the videos enjoyable. The shape is really nice 🙂

I’m enjoying the series, you’re a good inspiration
This is my main goal with the channel! I glad to hear this from you.

I appreciate the walk through and every part of this being shown. Off to buy my own kit
I all begins with buying tools..
Thank you!
@ order placed. Never can have too many tools!
@John-or8kf there is always room for more tools. A big tablesaw is easy to maintain and could be used as a dining table.

I'm still here! 12 minutes in and watching the oiling. So pretty!!! Thank you for what you do.
@@AbbySorenson You have a great attention span!

Hello very cool, thanks for sharing 👋🔥☁️🇦🇹
Thank Mr Pipe man.
More videos are coming soon 😀
I bought a drill press for 25 bucks. It definitely helps hold my phone while drill freehand
I see where this is going 😀
@HallbeamDesign great video btw
@redbearworkshop3219 Thanks man! This is very rewarding to hear.
That’s a very interesting & beautiful pipe
Thank you, the shape is really interesting :)
I enjoyed this video
Great! Thanks for this feedback 😀
Brilliant work.
Thank you! Have been thinking about making one of these for a long time 😀
Mycket snygg design!
Tack! Det kommer bli fler av denna :)
beautiful work sir!
Thank you! I was very satisfied with the end result 🙂
🤣"So I can learn how to identify those people from a distance so I don't have to meet such a person." Great video! Thank you!
Yes! Irony and sarcasm is humor for smart people.

@lexhunt7689 No worries! There will soon come more videos regarding this 😀
It sounds like English.
It looks like a pipe.
Please countinue!
Cheers!
Effective feedback!
Thank you for this 😀
where do you get your briarwood from? Is there a specific website? Thanks for the video!
Janzen-pfeifen.de
A german website. Delivers in 3-6 days. 😀
Great video. I agree pimple popping videos are gross.
Finally!
Hur får du tag på munstycke till pipan? Diggar dina pip-videor enormt mycket!

Do you sell pipes
Yes! Most of the time I build and sell furniture and end grain cuttingboards though.

100% Bilingual charm. I'm happy that 99% is "pro" narrating these videos. Thank you a lot for this 😀
English is ok, voice is good. "I myself" might be just a TINY bit overused.... but that's nit picking. Please continue just like you have been.
I myself think that you are right after review 🙂
That Dremel is way too big.
There are smaller variants, but this one is really powerful! Which is a big factor for me.
