Is it still good?
- After a few months of using the x1, it’s still fine, battery holds up to over a month (having it BT unpaired most of the time), the only thing that’s annoying is the lack of new watch faces (dials). Got a bit bored with the existing ones…
..hope this answers the -“is it still good?” question.
@@FamilyPopTV same here, i wish they would update the firmware so that we could get more watch faces.
I think the X1 has a pretty closed architecture
but it would be great if @blackview would make the downloadable/custom watch faces for x1.
Thank you for your upload...I ha e just purchased an x5. It seems the sleep monitor is not working on most watches so I feel this could be an internal PCB issue or programming oversight. I wish I knew this before purchase given the reviews I watched.

Can you set custom watch face in 2023 , or does it have more watch facese to set
I bought this watch in 2021 and it now has 2 more default watch faces, more faces available on the app, and a custom watch face which you can set. It also has a much better interface now.
I would probably need to buy a new one to check this out

I have no idea, I haven't got the watch anymore so can't confirm this.

Not sure if video out dated but to ask the community. Can you say install a Dail face like the game The Division. Can you set watch to always on?
I'm currently deciding between this and the x5. I like the aesthetics of both so that's not an issue for me. Which would you recommend for the best overall?
Hi. I haven’t had a chance to test the X5 yet, however it looks more bulky than the two other watches from blackview’s X-series.
I got the X2 this week for testing.
Both, X1 and X2 sharing very similar (and simplified) capabilities, both looking sweet - X1 looks more modern , whether X2 looks more elegant. Both watches having anti-fingerprint/anti-scratch glass on the display (which I really appreciate).
Both, X1 and X2 offers pretty accurate heart rate tracking and excellent battery life and having similar graphic design of the User Interface. Also the brightness of the screens is more than sufficient in both, good colours and both are very responsive.
The only limitation - very limited choice of dials (only 4 non-customisable watch faces). If Blackview would design more opened architecture in their x-series, they would have almost an ideal budget watches.
My favourite is still the X1. With a brown leather wrist strap it looks amazing.
The warning email from amazon and Blackview says its not suitable for swimming or diving, does anyone have any experience of sea immersion and continued use in the sea if it affects the watch or not?

i got this watch as my 'di;ping toes' into smart watches. im happy with features for the price point, but i can totally see how i would pay extra for more features. but i mean, happy to not spend 300 and throw it out if i didn't like it
Hi. The watch looks and works great, but I agree, it’s too basic, without fancy features. Lack of customisation also gets on my nerves.
But as a entry level smartwatch , this is absolutely great wearable.

@@FamilyPopTV Yes you can get lots of additional faces using the app to download to the watch.
Impossible. Feel free to visit manufacturer’s website (blackview.hk) where it clearly states:
Dial: 4 dials, free switching.
The watch does NOT allow to upload any additional watch faces. You probably got some other watch in mind, because X1 and X2 are non-customisable.
@Family Pop TV sorry to disagree but I have an X1 and additional faces are provided in the H band app.
You can however only upload one of the provided faces at a time to the watch.
In the H Band app home screen tap more -> settings -> dial settings -> more watch faces.
Right. I had to double check it on iOS (iPhone11) and Android (Blackview bv5800) on both apps (h band & h band lite),
Doesn’t matter if I’ll enter the setup menu from the main screen -> more -> settings / or: mine -> X1 , I haven’t got any chance to get to any dial settings.
Manufacturer never stated there are other dials available for the X1 nor the X2.
Firmware in the watch has the latest update 05.73.02
My watch with a cracked glass, where can I get it fixed?
Hi. If you got it still covered by warranty, then it would be a problem.
But if not, I would recommend to contact blackview customer service.
Also you may try to get it to any local repair shop - many watch repair shops can replace the glass on smartwatches, even if they are not authorized to service Blackview products.
Wondered if the screen is somewhat impact resistant. Any experience if it may sustain a wack from a tree branch when running cross country?
It is scratch resistant, that’s for sure.
But may need to do a few “destructive” tests on the display screen, at some point.

For some reasons I cannot change the watchfaces as he showed on min 0:52: if İ swap from the bottom my messages will appear.

Hi. It came to my attention that theater releases of this watch had an option to upload watch faces via the app.
So I'm wondering, if in your version of this watch you'll be able to flip through the watchfaces by press and hold the display for a 1-2 seconds and then it allows for choosing it?
This works for majority of smartwatches,so it's worth a shot. Please let me know.
Other suggestion, you may want to do a factory reset of the watch and then set it up again from scratch with your phone, then see if the flipping thru the watch faces as shown in the video would work. Cheers

Hi. So then you got a newer version of the watch, as you had to press and hold the display to change the dial..
In my version there were only 4 watch faces and couldn't upload any other ones as the watch has closed architecture. However, someone mentioned in previous threads, that there are downloadable faces via the app (again, I can't confirm this as I had an older version of the X1). Sorry I could help here

It suppose to trigger automatically, however as far as I remember, it tends to ignore the sleep if going to be late. Not a perfect watch for sleep tracking.
It is possible to emit a beep or vibrate every hour. If it is possible how to do it

Anybody know how I can disable the vibrate function?
Swipe down from start face, you should be able to see a little moon icon. Click it and you can stop vibrations.

There are 30 or so different watch faces if you use the app.
Blackview X1 has closed architecture. Only 4 standard watch faces.
H band app doesn’t support watch faces with connection to X1
@@FamilyPopTV It does on my X1, I select More Watch Faces in the app and can then transfer to the watch 😁
What’s better x5 or x1
Hi. X5 is newer (2021) and has more features + more watch faces than X1, but is bit more bulky than X1.
X1 is simpler and older, and bit cheaper, and has IPS screen - but only 4 watch faces!!!. Battery is the same in both watches (260mAh), but X1 goes slightly longer on a single charge.
It’s a tough decision. Aesthetically, the x1 looks better, but with its 4 watch faces gets boring after a while (I know, because I’m wearing it quite often)… The X5 seem to be a little bit better decision.
Let me know, what choice you’ve made.
