Hooray for audio glitches! Thankfully I'll still have enough time to do my homework after this. Maybe one day I'll go back and see if I can cover it better.
Shout out to Tigerdovefan34, who asked me to look over his Tigerheart analysis before he finished it. He makes some good points, revealing insights into his character that get overlooked. Check him out! / @spyrotigerdovefan34
A half review, half rant about the latest Warriors catastrophe, Tigerheart's Shadow. We all knew it was going to blow, but just how much did it blow?

You know, I really wanted Tawnypelt to be leader. I know she was a Tigerstar spawn, but she really deserved it. Tawnypelt is a REALLY underrated character.
Tawnypelt! #TawnypeltForLeader! #Tawnystar2017! Spread the word!
#JUSTICEFORTAWNUPELT! I DEMAND JUSTICE!
Nonie Kangas whenever someone's spells 'Spread the word'
I immediately think about smile dog, because that's his...phrase???
Don't know what that is Clorox. I just hear it on the internet all the time. It's like a contagious disease.
Nonie Kangas He's (it's) a creepypasta monster that takes the the form of a demon dog. The story is pretty interesting.
"You're the worst tom I've ever met and I trained under a group of serial killers for most of my youth"
Harsh.
And I feel so bad for Bumblestripe because Dovewing chose Tigerstar 2.0 over someone loyal, smart and kind.
Bird Dog
But also "hm...the one that I love and should care about the most and gets my kittens now wants to leave the forest forever and I can't convince her to stay...IVYPOOL?!?! I need ya help..."

Harsh but deserved...
well concidering the book, he deserves it.
They punish Mapleshade for forbidden love. *Gives a rule-breaking douche 9 lives.*
They punish Mapleshade for killin 2 cat for hallucination kitty, not for the love
Yes, that and I meant Yellowfang. I was thinking of Mapleshade for some reason. (Yellowfang giving birth to Brokenstar and destroying Shadowclan all because of her forbidden love)
@@DoctorWhoXIII I think they meant BEFORE the murder

Tigerstar and Tigerstar 2
@ShutmonMayhem Neo But not a real great dad
This entire book could have been avoided if Rowanstar/Rowanclaw had just chosen a new deputy after Tigerheart disappeared.
SomeoneImSure should have made tawnypelt leader
@Ein Zuschauer yuh, but of course she stepped down
Im just going to call the original Tigerstar Sr. and the newest abomination Tigerstar Jr.
WarriorsUnlimited
Wouldn't Tigerstar Jr. be Bramblestar?
No, tigerheart
:O I'm a huge fan. Yeah, that suits 'em. XD
Tigerheart stays Tigerheart. No one must call him Tigerstar.
No TigerheartStar
If StarClan can resurrect cats then... *Gasp*
*Resurrects Feathertail, Snowfur, Bluestar, Yellowfang, and Grays wing*
Now the series back together
Mellow Heart
*Adds Ravenpaw,Cinderpelt,Hollyleaf,Sandstorm,LongTail,Mousefur and Purdy oh and Firestar too*
Mellow Heart stonefur has to come back
*Slowly murders Dovewing and Tigerheart in the background...*
Don't forget Russetfur.
I'm gonna bring back Goldenflower!
Honestly, I'd rather a Longtail super edition honestly. Or even one on one of the Skyclan cats such as Waspwhisker. It would be interesting to see some of the backstories of the rouge recruits. Some may disagree as a lot of people hate Skyclan, but i do believe it could be interesting.
Blueberry Kitten Artist I need a Longtail or Blackstar super edition.
Blueberry Kitten Artist a snowtuft super addition I need to know more about him, why you in the dark Forest?
EeveeDee
Yeah, and not just have Snowtuft be like 'I'm here for an unexplained reason'
All of these sound better then Tigerheart's shadow
I want to see a Super Edition on Star Flower. Heck, I'll even accept an eBook. She's my favorite character and I really want to see if her intentions were bad.
The terribleness of this book
- Dovewing’s teribble choice
- Tigerheart flip-flopping
- Inconsistency
- Rowanstar-uh-claw’s unexplained death
- Dovewing leaving her family
- Tigerstar
- Breaking Starclan laws
- Boring quest book
etc.
Solution:
Never make this book.
The part I hate about the book is Dovewing leaving her family and clan.
Tigerstar 3.0
Goddess, help us all..
Agreed
Goddess? No, StarClan. They've already given up on us.
he is nothing like his grandfather. and it is totally unfair to compare the two
Paige Night

sandywolfr26 umm u forgot bramble star?? XD
tigerheart didn't even face any consequences for running away with a she-cat from another clan for months, when they needed him most. he just up and became leader with his new wife and kits and that was it.
Tigerstar 2: Electric Boogaloo
Tigerstar 2: The Squeakquel
TigerHeart 2: Journey to the mysterious island
I'm going to continue reading Warriors because I still want to know what happens to the actually good characters.
Lucky the Star Child same here
Same
Well my favorite is dead and will most likely never appear again (he didn't even show up to Tigerstar's damn leader ceremony and he's the leader before Rowanstar, you know who) so I don't really care about any of the characters as much.
I don't know why I'm even sticking around anymore.
All of the good characters will slowly become background charactes
Considering the Erin's said Dovewing wanted to be a kittypet, I think this could've been good. Instead they fucked it up. Should've called it Dovewings Journey or something, and show Dovewing trying to find a good two leg home to live in.
We've already got Hawkwing's Journey, which in my opinion tops all Super Editions, that I've read of course.
maybe Dovewing’s Fate or something?
Honestly? That would've been the best outcome for her!!
While watching this video, I started to break down. My dad saw me and this conversation happened-
"Are you ok?"
"No."
"What happened?"
"I think Warriors just killed itself."
Ugh...why does Tigerheart get to be leader? Aren't there things in place to prevent that? They should have let him die...that would be dramatic. And why did they just decide to fart on Rowanstar's character? The level of disrespect...
Alix Malone because Rowanstar was an AWFUL leader he was a complete push over. He's the reason he lost his Clan.
Alix Malone good warrior AWFUL LEADER
Yes! #Tawnystar2017!
Come on everyone spread the word! #NewShadowClan #TawnystarForLeader!
petition to being back Blackstar because honestly ShadowClan is a huge mess right now
with tawnypelt as his deputy
Shadow star is wonderful same as Cedarstar and Blackstar if only Tawnypelt was leader then the Clans would be saved
"not his time"
HAH WHAT ABOUT ALL THEM KITS STARCLAN? Finchkit? Mosskit? Tigerkit's siblings??(forgot names) yellowfangs dead kits? This list could just go on..
Every single kit that was brutally murdered and forced to fight for their life despite being severely underaged AKA the kits during Brokenstar's time?
Nah. It was their time to die
Swiftpaw, Badgerpaw, Snowkit, and on and on. Guess they'll die.
Erins: ALL CATS NAMED 'SNOWKIT' WILL DIE A HORRIBLE, GRUESOME DEATH.
Me: Why..?
Tigerstar's sisters are Nightkit and Mistkit.
Dandelionkit and Juniperkit? Graypool’s kits? Mistystar’s kits?
nope, tigerstar is just so much more important than dead kits.
There are too many Tigerstars
Slushy +Bramblestar and Hawkfrost
Slushy no
IKR!
We'll I agreee but I liked the book ok.......dont judge me
Avatar043 This book is called Tigerstar 4's shadow
I honestly think that Dovewing is better off single. Sure, if she didn't choose him, she'd be with Bumblestripe, and he's just as bad as Tigerheart. He tries to force Dovewing to have kits, and he even takes advantage of Purdy's death to ask her this.
Me when reading Crowfeather is deputy:
WTF? I mean, I like him, BUT WHY WOULD THE CLAN MAKE HIM DEPUTY AFTER HE FELL IN LOVE WITH A THUNDERCLAN MEDICINE CAT?
Me when reading Dovewing is pregnant:
*No words*
Me when reading Tigerheart and Dovewing were possibly leaving the Clans forever:
YAASSS ERINS YOU HAVE REDEEMED YOURSELVES!
Me realizing they aren't leaving:
*...*
Me when reading the kits names:
GREAT JOB ERINS, YOU BROKE THE UNSPOKEN ROLE!
Me when reading Tigerheart getting nine lives after dying:
*slowly brings up middle finger and shakes head*
Shadowkit is a fine name.
I l have no idea why anyone thought Tigerheart becoming leader was a good idea. How can we accept another Tigerstar? it's disorienting af. Also, I'm very pissed Tigerheart abandoned his Clan and broke the code only to return WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES. He doesn't just get to keep his Half-Clan family. He gets to be LEADER. Everybody's pissed Crowfeather's deputy, but that asshole disowned his own kits to prove his loyalty to his Clan. In a way he deserves being deputy more than Tigerheart does leader who didn't have to choose. He just got everything he wanted and tells his Clan '"deal with it".
RomanceGirl6666 he left his clan not just for Dovewing but to save it because of Pebbleshines dream....and Crowfeather broke two codes not just one he not only had relationships with cats outside of his clan but a fucking MEDICINE CAT!!! At that like what dude?! I believe Harestar made him deputy because of Onestar's confession about him having relationships with a kittypet before he was leader. And I think we are going to see WindClan soften up to him because of this. If you actually read Tigerhearts Shadow he displays very good qualities of a leader hi romance with Dovewing aside guys isnt what ShadowClan needs is a leader who thinks like Firestar but fights like Tigerclaw right now??? He tried to avoid conflict where he can while his clan is recovering.... he's a great deputy and I think he's going to lead his Clan well. And I think if Crowfeather stops being so scratchy hearted he's going to make a fine deputy as well. Harestar had his reasons I'm sure. The Erin's don't just throw names into a hat and shake it they do everything in their power to cause plot twist and interesting story lines
RomanceGirl6666 Rowanstar was a push over and I think a "I'm leader Deal with it" attitude is what these mouthy former rogues need to learn the warrior code
+Gillian: I read the whole book and absolutely nothing excuses a single thing he did. He jumped to conclusions about Puddleshine's vision and basically used it as an excuse to chase after Dovewing. Regardless of what he thought, running away was irresponsible and ShadowClan ended up in even more chaos. He was in the wrong.
Also, Tigerheart has no right to have a "Deal with it" attitude when he ABANDONED HIS CLAN AND BROKE THE FUCKING CODE. Every other character that had a forbidden mate faced consequences. Where is Tigerheart's consequences? Guilt for leaving his Clan? Is that it? I'm not saying Tigerheart would be a bad leader, but he still made bad choices and
should be punished for that. The fact that characters like Leafpool, Bluestar, Yellowfang went through literal hell just for having kits and mates they weren't supposed to but TIGERHEART gets off the hook is absolutely ridiculous.
RomanceGirl6666 well they left us with a a weird ending maybe one of his kits will die? Maybe something bad will happen to Dovewing you don't know. Literally the end of the book was his leadership And tawnpelt didn't seem to agree with him too much maybe there will be some resistance there.... I'm just saying people are being way too knit picky no one is even giving the Erin's a chance to "punish him"
+Gillian: He was chosen by StarClan tho with a prophecy about him. What can ShadowClan do now? They have no choice but to accept everything, especially in their weakened state, and it ticks me off. I hope at least that Dovewing returns to ThunderClan. I just can't picture her a ShadowClan cat.
Okay, this may sound stupid but..I don't want a Tigerheart SE. I want a Briarlight, Brightheart, Cinderpelt (not heart, PELT) or hell maybe even Bumblestripe SE. Those are some good characters.
Hannah Breese I would love to see what Bumblestripe does.
Same! I personally love Bumblestripe much more than Tigerheart/star. Ughhh I'm not looking forwards to reading 'Tigerstar' again -_-.
Nah, I don't want anymore ThunderClan SEs since they're the main focus.
Now a Blackstar SE, THAT'S what I want.
Ooo interesting! Blackstar could be neat!
what is briarlight going to do? she can't go outside the camp. cinderpelt story is done with. we know enough about brightheart. just go back to the first series. bumblestripe got enough focus in omen of the stars. i want to know more about riverclan. they seem to take so much of the background that i forget that they exist. thunderclan and shadowclan got enough focus.
6:35. EXACTLY. This has always bothered me about this series. I live on a farm, and I have eight cats. They're all fixed/spayed, and I feed and medicate them well. Cats play a very important role on the farm, and should be treated accordingly.
15:50 In Shattered Sky it was mentioned that Rowanstar/claw was losing lives from Yellowcough, which is also an inconsistency because when leaders lose their lives, the wound/illness that killed them is healed.
This entire book felt so unnatural. It's like there was no reason for what happened. This whole thing was just.. what!?
Dovewing acted out of character the whole time and abandoned her friends/clan
Rowanstar's death was skipped and he had his suffix stripped,
Tigerheart (I refuse to call that piece of trash a leader) was an indecisive and bad father and had a stupid resurrection,
And really, why, out of all cats, did they bring Tigerheart back to life, I mean, TIGERHEART.
Ugh. This whole book was honestly a disgrace. You can see that after Vicky left, the series began to collapse.
It's kind of pitiful.
Lets pretend this and spotted leafs heart don't exist.
Also tigerstar of shadowclan.
I wonder how this will go down with thunderclan and riverclan leaders!
This is a terrible book!
Rowanclaw found a scrouge.
Rosegold in all honesty, itd better then having Dovewing in ThunderClan but she is still in the clans. I wish she had left for good.
Yes
Good idea
It's sad that Rowanstar lost his leader name in Starclan the leaders in the Dark Forest still have star at the end of their names.
With the Warriors movie underway, I think that it is possible that the Erins are trying to end the series and focus on other things for the franchise. I once read somewhere that they did not want to create toys or figurines of the characters because it would be a challenge to get the exact description right, but if they are going to make a movie, I'm sure that toys and other merchandise will follow. Before Tigerheart's Shadow, it said on the Warriors Wiki under trivia/interesting facts for Dovewing that it is believed that she often dreams/thinks about being a kitty pet and having no worries about clan life. I thought that this was strange and wondered if they would touch up on it, but as far as I know they haven't yet.
i’d love to see Dovewing become a kittypet.
i can imagine when Dovewing is at her first Gathering, she goes up to Ivypool and explains what happened, but Ivypool cuts her off and yells at her for leaving ThunderClan, while Whitewing and Birchfall stare at her in disbelief. a fight breaks out because the leaders believe that ShadowClan took Dovewing as prisoner, and she becomes so upset that her family doesn’t want anything to do with her, so she runs to Twolegplace in the night.
I hate this book as hell. Spottedleaf's hearth, as bad as it was, was talking about the characters I honestly don't care about. But here it's talking about the character I dislike and HATE them being together!
You promised us Erins! You promised Dovewing a new, interesting relationship! You promised to put this crap of "forbiden romance" aside! But NO!
But the thing that infuriates me the most is what you just sad- warrior code just doesn't seem to exist. Cats can abadon their clans, have kits with whomever their want and do every shit they feel like doing if they just say "it's for the best". Am I the only one who misses a Hollyleaf kind of character- a permanent rule sticker, who puts everyone back into shape.
Accually, I think it would be a much better call for a leader. Someone stern who doesn't take "no" for an answer. Someone with charisma but also scary as heck. Maybe some new female villan who would put Shadowclan back where it used to be- feared and respected by all. But definitely not some soft, character less Tigerclone!!!
Know im kinda late, but this comment deserves more attention. I do totally agree. The clans have rules and they have to listen to them!
BRUH FINNALY SOMEONE WHO THINKS LIKE ME. I'm late too but I don't care. I hate Dovewing, and I hate her forbbiden love with Tigerheart.
I liked Warriors when all the cats actually used to follow the Warrior Code.
Star Clan is Absuive and inflexible with their rules anyway so
YOU JUST PREDICTED LIKE MOST OF THE NEW ARC-
I totally agree I'm so tired of cats breaking the code and forbidden romance which are way overused
Are you kidding me.. Lightkit and Shadowkit? Pouncekit, fine, I'll accept that, seems random, but that's okay, but *Lightkit* and *Shadowkit?* Those names really hammer in the thought that this is a badly written fanfic. While sometimes those names fit, Shadowkit and Lightkit are the names used in like, almost every bad fanfic I've seen where kits are born.
Maybe they intend Lightkit's warrior name to be Lightheart?
So you're saying just because those names are used in bad fan fictions that they can't be used in the books? That makes no sense.
When I read this comment I instantly checked what Stargleamstar`s children were called.
But they should have brought Stargleamstar into the main series to be leader of
`shadercaln`. #GLEAMSTARFORPRESIDENT
StrikerQ SHADERCALN
*_Shadow shouldn't be allowed to be part of a warrior name, since it's already the name of a clan_*

*Characters who could die:* FInchkit, Mosskit, Swiftpaw, Feathertail, Silverstream, Firestar, Cinderpelt, Yellowfang, Yellowfangs kits (don't remember the names), Badgerkit(fang), Hollykit, Dandelionkit, Briarlight, Longtail, Purrdy, Snowfur, Halftail, Shellheart, Crookedstar, Blackstar, Bluestar, Whitestorm, Lionheart, Spottedleaf (kinda), Tadpole, Ravenpaw, Redtail, Oakheart, Whiteclaw, Runnigwind, Brindleface, Stonefur, Gorsepaw, Willowpelt, Frostfur, Shrewpaw, Tallstar, Goldenflower, Honeyfern, Flametail, Mousefur, Ferncloud, Duskpaw, Snipkitm, Dustpelt, Sandstorm, Juniperkit, Dandelionkit, Leafpool, and MANY MANY more.
Chances are you liked at least one if those listed cats more than Tigerheart
SNIPKIT WITH A M????
@@LotusAndGlitch naw, its totally her actual, canon name, Snipkitm
DID THEY JUST
MAKE TIGERHEART
A LEADER
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
So... Starclan recarnaited Cinderpelt. Why shouldn't the dark forest recarnate Tigerstar?
It would be the first series all over again
Dovewing should have never gotten back together with Tigerheart after the dark forest battle. I expected her to realize that relationship was just a childhood romance and move on. She didn't have to get with that one thunderclan cat (too lazy to look up the name) but getting with Tigerheart was just stupid. There were already too many forbidden romances in the series, and dovewing rejecting him would have been a cool subversion of the trope.
*hears the first notes of burn* YOU DIDNT *starts singing* GODDAMN IT
"*Theory:* Did Tigerheart WRITE Tigerheart's Shadow??"
or maybe I watch too much Film Theory
I'm going to rewrite the ending to-- ugh-- Tigerheart's Shadow.
Tigerheart dies for real. The rest of the book is told from Tawnypelt's perspective. Tigerheart visits her in a dream and tells her she must rebuild ShadowClan. The next night she goes to the Moonpool with Puddleshine and receives her 9 lives. #TawnystarforLeader
I know this is 4 years late but this is the ONLY correct Tigerheart’s Shadow fanfic

You go girl! This is why I stopped reading warriors after the Last Hope. I honestly just gave up.

Lucia Eliade I gave up after Thunder and Shadow I like wings of Fire more cause it's less repetitive and Hybrid dragons are more common and makes sense than half-clans
Speaking of warriors; anyone read Bravelands? i wanna ;-;

Blueberry Kitten Artist Yes, it's friggen glorious.
Ok I refuse to take this as canon. Dovewing isn't Dovewing, Tigerheart is Tigerstar now, Rowanstar is dead.. Screw this

WHAT!?!? Dovewing abandons her clan whom she lived with her whole life to join Shadowclan?! F**CKING SHADOWCLAN?!
+Orangeknight A.K.A Hamiltrash
Everything. They're generic evil Clan.
lmao they need to repopulate XD
There's nothing wrong with ShadowClan itself, but why the hell would Dovewing abandon her sister, mother, father, and all her friends to live in a Clan that she's very unfamiliar with and knows one cat there?
ShadowClan is amazing Dovewing is trash
End of story
I didn't like the start, or the bit when they were in the city, but the new characters, Fierce, Spire and Blaze were brilliant! Spiresight's death was so sad, especially as we haven't read much about him and he is such a deep character and should've lived. Though, the Erins smartly foreshadowed his death as he said he couldn't live by the lake, but decides to come on the journey, which means he's going to die or leave halfway through.
I can agree with you on a few things though -
Dovewing was definitely out of character. She isn't very popular with fans, and she was just made worse by completely changing her.
Tigerheart spends the first ten chapters changing his mind - one minute, ''oh i love shadowclan'' next chapter ''i love frickwing''
F*ck that death scene lmao Tigerheart shouldve stayed dead. The Windstar being saved worked; Windstar was dying and it was an introduction to the nine lives for leaders, and as you said, she was dying.
And I agree with pretty much everything else you said
No, I can credit it for Spiresight, Fierce and Blaze. But other than that, and Spire's death, the book was terrible.
OneWish I wish that Tigerheart stayed dead and Rippletail became leader. He could've because Tigerheart says on page 396 of the book "'ShadowClan must survive.' He stared desperately at Rippletail 'You have to save it.'" Rowanstar was dead so Tigerheart is almost ready to become leader, so he had Rippletail replace him
Agreed. But to be honest. I still liked that book. My biggest pet peeve was how Tigerheart tried to force his beliefs on the Guardian cats.
FRICKWING LMHO
The thing is I forgot about almost all of those characters...
I love Frickwing. How could anyone not? Frick. Wing. I love it. XD
OG Tigerstar's progeny are slowly consuming the clans, just like he wanted. Even after death his plan is going full force.
On the "boring quest books spectrum" I saw The Apprentice's Quest on the low side
I like this book because THEY FAIL
Hear that?
SOMEONE FROM THUNDERCLAN WHO IS DIRECTLY DESCENDED FROM FIRESTAR
FAILED.
I mean they could have had that take less than a whole book to fail, which is one thing that bothers me.
The quest was meh but I find most quest books readable, somewhat. Sometimes boring and I sometimes skip through some questing chapters
But yeah I liked it
BRUH
You know... Rowanstar probably died in between books... by greencoughbecause it's a between-book killer.
This is literally the only book I hate Dovewing in. I mean, she was an “ok” character to me, I mean I did liked her but I also sometimes disliked her. (for shizzles) So please don’t blame me for saying this but, I mostly think this is Dovewing’s fault because she doesn’t trust the Clan she was born in, THE FREAK’IN CLAN SHE WAS BORN IN, to raise her kits.
what the hell what the hell
the erin's have officially lost it
Okay, so, here's what I have to say about this. I have only read the first series of books (this was like 9 years ago now) and I'm at the end of Bluestar's Prophecy. Knowing this, I remember the wrath that was Tigerstar that destroyed so much and ruined many things. Like I said, I've not been keeping up with the Warriors series for a very long time, but I tried to stay a little educated with what's going on since I still enjoy the series as a whole. I wanted to check this video out after I heard about this book being released to try to get a better view on what the most recent events taking place in Warriors are now. I knew very little about Tigerheart upon coming to this video and only a little about Dovewing, (I knew that this was a somewhat loved couple within the fandom and something happened with her and a prophecy?) that being that she seemed incredibly loyal and devoted to her clan as a whole. About the time this video reached the point of 'Tigerheart dies' I was suddenly very interested.
The book was based on him and he just dies? Then it moved to 'he went to the moonpool to become leader'. In that moment, hearing the name Tigerstar being relevant again emotionally hurt me. Many people despise of Tigerstar, I mean he's obviously a great villain, so of course you aren't supposed to like him. But he's so iconic to the Warriors series! I feel that he isn't meant to be lived up to or imitated in any way. So literally taking his name and plastering it onto another character? Ridiculous! Also, Rowanstar (I don't know much about him either except for his mate being Tawnypelt) just loses nine lives whilst this is happening!? I don't think that's something that should just be wrote off in a side book! Remember all the emotions we felt when Bluestar died? It took up a rather great part of the fifth book! She got a whole Super Edition too! It seems so rushed and lazy to me to just throw in such a significant disaster to a clan into a few sentences. It had to have the entire clan in shambles and then Tigerheart just marches on back into camp like "Hey, I'm leader now!" Plus, ShadowClan is just ready to accept a long-time ThunderClan cat AND her new kits? Wasn't Graystripe at least looked down upon when he went to RiverClan with Silverstream's kits? What has happened to this series? It really disappoints me knowing of all the great books this series has within it. I also recently heard about Spottedleaf's Heart, read up about it and watched videos on it. Needless to say, I've never been so greatly disappointed by the portrayal of a character in my life. That character being my favorite character, Thistleclaw. I just can't figure out what's causing such horrible books to be created. Anyways, sorry for the long rant, just felt that I had to get my opinion to someone out there who understands.
no. graystripe was look down in thunderclan when he had his kits. that is why he went to riverclan. thistleclaw was always a villain. he wasn't in love with spottedleraf, he manipulated her.
All I can say is.....
Gas the Tigerheart, Tawnystar now.
*Darkest Night plot idea*
*At Gathering*
Tigerstar(Tigerheart): Yeah I'm leader now.
Bramblestar/Mistystar/Harestar/Leafstar: Omae Wa Mou Shinderu.
Tigerstar: N A N I?!?!
*loud earrape noises* K O
Oh great! I am not the only one who is pissed off that Dovewing is in Shadowclan.
And We thought Spottedleaf's Heart was Bad. Atleast *That* One was a 90-Page-Novella! This Madness is just... UGH! Erins, My Money is Not Paying for this.
"I wanna see a super edition for Cinderpelt and Longtail!"
"Fuck that! Have a book about a dickbag!"
Edit: A different way to end it: Tigerheart DIES, and Dovewing returns to ThunderClan and tells Bumblestripe that her kits they were his.
I agree with that other ending. That should have happened. 😡
haha.. been 5 years, still no super edition for them
I laughed my head off when you called Tigerstar kitty-hitler
Everyone wants a Cinderpelt, Longtail, or Waspwhisker to have a super edition. But I want a Pinestar super edition. How cool would it be to see how he meet Jake, and want to become a kittypet? Also whenever lionpaw (heart) found out about him wandering to twolegplace? Like I want to see that.
Karalyn Mitoraj Pinestar has a novella
Hailey Arnold FFFFFFF WHERE HAVE I BEEN ALL MY LIFE? AAAHHHH I NEED THIS BOOOOOOKK
Pinestar’s Choice.
Its in Legends of the Clans, right after Spottedleaf's Heart
This book would have been better if Tigerheart stayed dead and Tawnypelt rose to leadership.
But seriously, Squirrelflight, Crowfeather, AND Tigerheart get to be deputy before her? Really?

Honestly I was sooooooo happy when Tigerheart died in the second last chapter..... but then he became leader, and had eight more lives. I was like noooooooooooooo! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
If someone had to save ShadowClan then Tawnypelt would have been a much better cat for the job. She's never abandoned ShadowClan when it needed her AND was already chosen to represent ShadowClan by StarClan back in the New Prophecy. How such a wonderful cat ended up as the mother of this stupid irresponsible jerk is beyond me. I assume that the reason Tigerheart/Tigerstar 2 is so terrible comes from Rowenstar.
what bugged me was everyone being so mad with Dovewing in the sixth arc (which tbh is reasonable) but then no one was ever mad at Tigerheart, as if Dovewing was the only one doing something wrong.
And I am so late on this lmao
I actually am glad Crowfeather became deputy. I hope they flesh his character out more in the current series.
kalan lancaster am I the only one who agrees with that?
Immortal Lionheart I agree, hope they can add on to his character more.
kalan lancaster I agree
kalan lancaster thank you
I hope he can become Crowstar.
Cringing at this novella. Not counting this or spottedleaf's heart as cannon.
but the thing is how can we not consider this cannon? it *kills a leader* it cannot be ignored without ignoreing everything in the future from that books sadly
True.
sorry to ruin your hopes and dreams its just how it is unless they retcon this book but I don't think they will
I literally face-palmed at 13:52. What have you done Erins? DX
I never liked this book. The first sentence is "i need to find Dovewing." That makes it seem like he's possessive, let's be honest here, no one likes that crap. Then for the next chapter or five it's all about Dovewing. I kinda get Dovewing's paranoia, (we all remember that gathering during Sunset, & the cruel things Mistyfoot & Stonefur went through) then the whole forbidden romance thing gets thrown away, & i wanted some nice spicy drama scences between Dovewing & Ivypool, but nope. Dovewing & her motherly instincts wants to stay with the cats of the church, that will feed them & protect them while Tigerheart is getting in some random cats business, & wants to send their young children into the wild, with foxes badgers, Twolegs, Monsters, you name it. When Dovewing changes her mind they drag some random rogues with them. Tigerheart dies, comes back blah blah blah. Then in the Raging Storm he goes from whatever he was in this book, to being an angry overprotective dad who makes death threats. Thus why i can barley read the first chapter.
Omg yes I highly dislike tigerheart for this we don't need any more jerky tigerstar clones as leader.
Honestly, I enjoyed the book. I never liked Dawnpelt, Flametail or Tigerheart, to be honest they kinda just ruined my FeatherXTawny, :I. I horribly disliked that Dovewing left thunderclan, when Bumblestripe was a lovely mate. The book was written well and I loved the plot, but Dovewing did a one-eighty in personality. After reading this, the thing I hope for the most is for Ivypool to fight and despise Dovewing. That'd be juicy, amIrite?
Join me in not giving up!
Lisa Burns Ivypool actually hating her sister would be something interesting I'd like to see that happen
Yeah, it'd be very juicy with her hatred for her sister and dovewing having to live with the knowledge she chose to leave her sister.
JOINED
Warriors has a special place in my heart, I'd never give up on it, #WARRIORS4EVER

I struggle to read anything past The Last Hope. That's where the series ended for me and I don't consider anything past that cannon.
"And there's only one way to release my pent up rage for this book"
I thought it was gunna say 'warning headphone users' and she'd start screaming 😂
THE BURN COVER AT THE END WAS LITERALLY THE BEST PART OF THIS VIDEO
AND FOR SOME REASON IT FITS SO WELL
"in stuffing your pockets, you've ruined our lives"
WHEN DOES HE DESERVE A SUPER EDITION?
To be fair it's implied had Dovewing stayed at Thunderclan and had the kits there they would have been killed in the storm that knocked down the tree into the nursery. So in that case it was a good thing she left.
I mean well it depends on whether you consider dovewing dying a good thing or not
don't compare tigerheart to darkstalker at least darkstalker had a good book and character
I am not, really. I am comparing their situations. Where Darkstalker deliberately made a spell to make everyone like him so they would not resist his authority shows a twisted, disturbed, and interesting side to his personality, which formed the groundwork for the Wings of Fire cast to struggle with the concept of good vs evil. Meanwhile, the Erin's have made everyone adore Tigerheart just for the convenience of the plot. Mowing down any natural arguments and negative reactions from the other characters about Tigerheart strips down the realism of the story and makes Tigerheart look like a gary-stu, overall dragging the book into the realm of simplicity and laziness.
I never intended to compare Tigerheart and Darkstalkers personalities, because even if Tigerheart was written dynamically, there wouldn't be anything similar enough between them to compare.
Darkstalker>Tigerheart! Always.
Besides, he would be a bad leader! The sheer fact that he came back after he died and was given nine lives without proving himself for no good reason is an atrocity!!!! *Breathes deeply* WHY! Also bad father to! Not good!
You in an alternate universe damn roasted (and tigerheart deserves it)
Storm Draws 😆 he honestly does!
the ending is painfully accurate
Ok, I'm sure I'm totally a bad person for saying this, but I actually enjoyed Tigerheart's Shadow, for the most part. Yep, that's right, I said it. Look... I love how people continually complain about 'bad Warriors' books' such as 'this book' yet I can guarantee the majority if not approximately all of the complainers could never write a book a tenth as good even if the topic book IS bad, opinion wise.
*sigh*
I REALLY wish people would try and put aside their dislike for Tigerheart and Dovewing and the whole "oh look she's pregnant" cliché. I get it and though admittedly it's been a while since I've read *Omen of the Stars* I do recall the plot points.
Ok, for a start, Tigerheart did NOT 'abandon Dovewing. Dovewing abandoned HIM. For those who've not read the super edition, basically, Dovewing gives Tigerheart a three day deadline to show up in the clearing in which they spend their time together and if Tigerheart did not show up on the third day at sunset, Dovewing would leave without him.
On the third day, Tigerheart is troubled with nervousness and anxiety and eventually decides that he is going to be with Dovewing. Rowanstar then tells him to go out on patrol and take Grassheart, Snowbird, Scorchfur and Juniperclaw with him. After being told this, Tigerheart does so, hoping he can slip away whilst patrolling. However, Scorchfur and Juniperclaw are no where to be seen and after pressing Grassheart and Snowbird about it, they admit that both toms have left ShadowClan to join SkyClan. Knowing this, Tigerheart doesn't want ShadowClan to lose three warriors instead of one and heads out to stop them. I'll be vague but essentially after a few minutes of attempting to convince the toms, they agree to stay in ShadowClan. After so, they're attacked by a sickly badger and Tigerheart is thrown against a tree, receiving a concussion. Eventually the badger is defeated and flees, and Tigerheart then tells Juniperclaw and Scorchfur to head back to camp and report what happened.
Tigerheart then leaves to get to Dovewing, but since he wasted time trying to get Juniperclaw and Scorchfur back, he is late and passes out after trying to catch up with Dovewing. He then receives a vision and comes to the belief that if he bails on ShadowClan now, they'll die out forever and then he decides to stay.
Ok... I get what you mean but you can't exactly say that Tigerheart 'oh so terribly abandoned Dovewing in her time of need" when she literally ditched him and he made an effort to find her. Not to mention Tigerheart later comes to the belief, after a conversation with Puddleshine, that him being in ShadowClan is actually a negative issue, Tigerheart sets out to track down Dovewing. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Dovewing's a terrible queen because honestly I do understand, she's emotional, stressed, desperate, doesn't know what to do and it's not like she can give Tigerheart much time. But from what Tigerheart later thinks, "if she truly needed me wouldn't she have waited?", and ya got to admit he has a point.
I'm not going to bother continuing as of now because I've ranted on too long as it is XD
However, this is one of the many things I can dissertate against. I won't try to change opinions on this SINGLE piece of narrative but I think you get the picture.
I did really enjoy the book as well. Can't understand why people just look at the bad and not the good.
Yeah
True. I get *why* people hated this book but think about it, if you've gone into this book, determined to hate it, or more so you have negative feelings towards it before even reading the first chapter, then you've automatically changed the way you'll see the book in a negative light before even giving it a chance. Besides, there were a *lot* of great things in this book. The city as a whole was awesome and new, many of the characters were brilliant, the Guardian Cats were a minty fresh breath of cool mountainous air, it also had a lot of good moments in general. It was also cool to see some of the missing ShadowClan cats and bring back a few new likeable cats to become warriors. Hardly sounds like a "complete catastrophy of a book that's more like a bad fanfic" to me.
The Erins don't even put any effort or imagination into their books anymore. They're just spitting out books for money.. :l Warriors is just not the same anymore. The only thing I like a about warriors are the rants that people make on youtube.
Worthless Trash you must be fun at parties....
Hey buddy you in London? :3
Uh, they're right though.
I feel like Vision Of Shadows is good. All actual series books are the good ones, the super editions are slightly boring to me, especially when they have no importance to the story.
I read the second last chapter of this book and was really happy. Tigerheart was dying and he told Dovewing to raise her kits in TC! But nooooo they have to ruin it!
This is one of the books that made me despise Dovewing to the point where she is one of my absolute least favorite cats.
When she eventually gets killed off, I won't shed a single tear.
Exactly I completely agree, she completely betrayed her clan and family I'm so tired of forbidden romance cause they are so overused #WeDontNeedAnyMoreTigerstarClones
Concerning Rowanstar and how he could have possibly lost all nine lives in such a short period of time: while yellowcough was killing off ShadowClan cats in Thunder and Shadow, it was stated that Rowanstar had fallen ill and his lives were essentially slipping away from him one by one. I didn't realize that he was so close to losing his last life though. He must have lost SEVERAL lives due to that sickness.
WTF WHAT! WHAT?! HOW THE FLIPPING HELL DID ROWANSTAR DIE ALREADY!!! WTF HE WAS BARLEY EVEN LEADER FOR 3 BOOKS!!! AND TIGERHEART IS NOW TIGERSTAR!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
FUTURE LPS well you know Shadowclan, they have leaders for fucking 10 seconds.
count back to all the battles he been in since he been leader. im not even surprise that he died so soon
Dovewing wanted to leave because the clan would know EXACTLY who the father is and would probably judge her and rarely interact her because she wouldn't admit who the father was even though everyone knows it's Tigerheart. Also, Dovewing didn't throw herself at his feet, she was mostly the one controlling him and the way he feels.
Agreed
I really want to see a really angry Bumblestipe
Your review really makes me not want to read this book. I expect so much out of professionally published books I hate it when they fail. I hope that the continuity of this book doesn't affect the main series--but I doubt it. The book might have had more lasting effect/ meaning if Tigerheart had died and stayed dead. He could have made a sacrifice. Sure he flip-flopped before, but then he chose Dovewing and by doing so he must sacrifice himself for her and the kits. It has been a theme in many books to chose between love or duty. Usually the characters that chose love, died.
ShadowClan should have been destroyed forever after Darktail. That would have been a fascinating plot-line. They faced a heavy loss of territory, leadership, and their cats don't care about their culture as warriors. If ShadowClan was erased as a Clan and replaced by SkyClan that would have made sense. It would have been sad for ShadowClan, but those that were left could have spread into the other Clans or become rogues like those that joined Darktail's faction. I guess by making SkyClan the replacement Clan, the status quo of the lake would have been kept. The conflict from that point on would probably be dealing with Starclan lying about the past and SkyClan having to learn to deal with more Clans and sharing territory with more cats while the lake clans have to deal with SkyClan's oddities while ShadowClan cats have to learn to fit into their new Clans. With the Erin's choosing to have 5 Clans, status quo of the books is lost--forcing the cats to struggle for territory and prominent land (aka where should SkyClan go?) while dealing with how StarClan lied to the clans about their past. That is interesting, sure, but we kind of saw it in the New Prophecy arc when the cats first came to the lake (although it wasn't that much of a struggle over borders since the lake perfectly suited their old territories without making the cats habits/traditions change much).
I would love to read a book about a destruction of a Clan. One that we've known for years and not just SkyClan. Sure it was destroyed at least twice but there isn't as deep of a connection to that Clan as with the main four. SkyClan feels new rather than like an old Clan because Firestar resurrected the Clan. ShadowClan's destruction would bring a whole new level of danger to the Clans. Clan life would feel more threatened by internal threats: loss of culture and cats failing to uphold the code would have consequences (showing readers that Hollyleaf's placed importance on the code wasn't so silly). Currently, the typical main threats to a Clan as a whole are illness, wild animals, and natural disasters--so having a new way for Clans to be in danger would be very intriguing.
Usually after death or disaster in a Clan (ThunderClan's fire, WindClan's exile, Two-legs invading the old forest) the cats band together again as a Clan, despite loss of family--there is a feeling of hope. Total destruction is when no one wants to come back together, and ShadowClan practically faced that apathy. If only a few cats wanted to be ShadowClan (Rowenstar's family) that would hardly justify keeping a whole territory for themselves when SkyClan is in need of land. Taking the territory from them would have presented interesting conflict and a dilemma for the rest of the Clans--who are they to say what a clan is or is not or who is allowed to be one? The scenario would mirror the incident when SkyClan was kicked out of the old forest years ago. Now that SkyClan is back with the main four they should be accepted, but the only place for them to go is the old ShadowClan land. But by kicking out ShadowClan, they would be perpetrating the act that separated them to begin with. With this scenario there are sympathies on both sides. StarClan might have a say in who gets what land, but we've seen they aren't infallible and they are usually torn in their decisions. The living cats would actually have to decide--putting the power back in their paws and out of StarClan's control as back to a guiding presence.
Sorry for the long comment.
I really liked it ;(
Well she skimmed through the book I read this book at least 10 times and it seemed to get better once I see parts I did not see the first time so it's okay it did what it was meant to do so I'm fine with it. (( TIME TO GO GET THE DARKEST NIGHT! And I'm gonna try out the Wings of Fire. I like dragons but I have a weird feeling it's gonna fall where either Seekers or Survivors fell for me. Seekers were good for awhile until I found Warriors and found out how boring it was compared to warriors. Survivors fell into I read the first book and I did not get anything and in general was boring so I'm not sure about it. I think Warriors will still be my favorite judging how 1: The Bravelands short in Tigerheart's Shadow was good and I thought 'Oh I might want to read this' But then they scraped it. 2: I get that I like dragons but um so far what I heard of it they say it's good but then it's kinda annoying of hearing people drop Warriors for Wings of Fire. And judging how my opinion works is when a lot of people loves something I dislike it. I hate Scourge I hate dabbing I hate Firestar I hate jayfeather I hate dancing and singing and it just goes on and on. So I don't know but I'm still with Team Warriors. ))
I tried Seekers and I got bored at about book 3. I can't even tell you what any of the series was about other than bears on a journey and maybe a shapeshifter. Haven't tried Survivors as I am just not that into dogs or books about them. Is "Bravelands" really canceled? I was sort of interested in that one, but probably would have gotten around to it when I remembered that series again.
The great thing about books and various readers is that everyone can have favorite characters and hate the characters other's like. Certainly as the books have gone on, my perceptions and attitudes about many cats have changed.
Never understood why Tawnypelt was never made deputy. She knew when her clan was fucked and didn't have too much pride to just watch her clan die, she got shit done by actually asking for help.
Tiger Hearts shadow comes out "Maybe I should try it..." *reads* "Finally I'm done." *Throws it in the trash*
Sasha is the worst mother. She did'nt swim to catch Tadpole when he was'nt one the surface anymore.
Because, if kittens can't swim, adult cats can. And if many cats dislike being wet, a good mother would do it for her kits.
Sasha is worst mother.
AFUniversCat What about Rainflower or Ivypool. They abandoned their kits, at least Sasha....oh wait 😑🤣
12:02 Tigerheart didn’t take any pages out of Darkstalker’s book, I know that because if he did then Tigerheart’s Shadow could have actually been good.
It’s not even like there’s never been a Warriors book where the protagonist is the villain, so why couldn’t we just get a Warriors story that was similar to Legends: Darkstalker?
Oh, wait, I know why. It’s because the writers are lazy and they don’t actually care.
Bumblestripe and Dovewing would've been way better than this bullcrap.
OCUniverse 7
I agree
The Wolf Files dovewing never liked bumblestripe. The whole clan was forcing them together even though she never felt like that towards him. She does love tigerheart and we see it countless times. In fact I was glad they broke up cuz it just wasn't right. Dovewing was basically forcing herself cuz he was a clan cat. It wasn't what her heart wanted and if you read the whole thing over, you can see that clearly. Besides she had a journey with tigerheart and he was the only one at the end of it to still be friends with her. And yea she got annoyed with him but he alone understands her.
Storm Draws I like them too. We saw them became friends and then mates. It clear that he does care about her.
Storm Draws developed? Seeing their romance budding heads on and off continuously throughout the books I don't think is development.
Please, Tiger and Dove is not a good couple.
Don't compare them to Firestar and Sandstorm.
The literal only reasonable couple within the ducking books.
the fact that it was on and off is like a real young couple relationships. this is the first and only relationship they each had. so yes that is expected of them. how many couples do you know that is often on and off? that is reality for so many people nowadays.
Basically, this whole book is about Tigersta- I mean heart, and Dovewing, when Dovewing has a novella of her own! Why do we need two books about Dovewing, and one of them is literally garbage?!
When I went to Dovewings wiki, and saw that her mate was named "Tigerstar," I was so confused. Having not read any of the new books after The Last Hope, I clicked "Tigerstar", and the quote on his wiki was ""I left you. [...] But now I've returned. I bring with me cats who will make our Clan strong again. Accept them as I accept you. Give them your loyalty as I give you mine. I am ready to lead you." I can not tell you how utterly confused and baffled I was, I thought that Tigerstar was either resurrected, reincarnated, haunting Tigerheart, or some shit like that, and was suddenly a 'good guy'... Its sad to say that, after hearing about the recent book Spottedleafs Heart, and a few other exceptions, I actually thought that was the reasoning behind it. I'm not shitting you, and its fucking sad.
I'm just going to say that this was all a big dream TigerHEART had.
Dovewing ate some shrooms while on the way
I believe that brackenfur should have a super edition.... He's really underrated
I'm still waiting foR A GODDAMN BRIGHTHEART SUPER EDITION
Heavystep and Beetlewhisker also were exceptions to StarClan's anti-playing God policy.
also may i also say another character butcher if it wasnt already said
hawking in his book emotional caring bag of fur i loved him
however in shattered sky he becomes an cardboard cut out.
also did anyone forget about cloudberry and ryewhisker? : ) i guess no one remembers whAT HAPPENED TO THEM
Good job with the rant/"rage"! You hit some good points, as well as pointing out how certain things were just plain bad.
P.S. Nice "Burn" cover at the end ;>
Well, I Officially hate DoveWing...
Misty Leaf me to.
12:32 O.M.G. I can't belive you used my pic. Thank youuuu
Me, a Tigerheartstar lover reading the comments 👁💧👄💧👁
Cinderpelt/Cinderheart really needs a super edition.
