You are literally the only person i can trust when listening to fragrance reviews, i know it s subjective, but it seems we have really similar taste, so for that i thank you for puttin out work for us and giving us great content!
I bought Imagination and Afternoon Swim at the Louis Vuitton store and was told you buy a bottle for life. You can get it refilled for much cheaper than the original price and they even offered to inscribe my initials on the glass bottle. I’ve never heard of other brands offering the same and can’t imagine you can just walk up to a store with a regular designer fragrance bottle and get it refilled.
LV is the only brand offering refills as far as I know. Other brands don't offer that, but some of them have refillable bottles. If a bottle is refillable you can just screw the whole atomizer off and refill it by yourself, no need to go to any store. I had a refillable bottle of Sauvage and it had 'REFILLABLE' written on it on the bottom, somewhere next to the batch code.
FYI in france you can refill niche fragrance. No one knows about that, for exemple in Louis Vuitton, you can go with an empty bottle and they refill for you. They didn't check if you really bought this bottle.
You are an honest reviewer. That's it. My suggestion is to review perfumes for a very hot, hot, and pleasant climate. Because people watch you from all over the world
Eros is loved by the masses, any versions. Hell, most people could not tell you which version you had or if there was a difference. If you love frags, then YOU know. And as happens, with any frag (or even music or other art), once something is loved by many, it will be hated by many as well. If it is around long enough, "old" will become "new" again.
Everyone has their own opinion. I started just going and try it myself but you are honest man that is why I love watching your videos. I'm going to support you and I will be buying your cologne soon
I’ll never understand how man can like sweet fragrances. They’re just unbearable and unbelievably annoying on my skin and when I feel a very sweet scent on someone, I just get nauseous
2:10 the coffee collection by fragrance world are pretty good. My favorite is Qahwa, it's cardamom, dark coffee and dates, hint of smokey incense. Caramel machiatto and Irish coffee are good too, very wearable. The other 2 are OK, but they weren't for me personally
I'm gonna give a very approximate shot at debunking the rubbing wrist myth. So firstly the reason that rubbing your wrists may damage the fragrance is most likely due to the kinetic energy generated from this, which will evaporate some of the molecules present in the fragrance. Although I could not find any clear sources for rubbing wrists together, this paper (Cold Hands Warm Heart: Does Hand Rubbing Really Make A Difference?) says that rubbing hands together generated 0.2deg celcius of heat. Choosing Molecule 01 by Escentric molecules, as it contains 100% iso E super, a spray on each wrist, assuming 0.0833ml is in one spray, therefore, from each wrist, when you go to rub them, there will be 0.166...ml present. The density of iso E super is 0.95g/ml, therefore the 0.166...ml will contain around 0.158g of Iso E super. To determine the effects of this 0.2deg celcius change to the fragrance, we will need to use a formula Q=MC(Change)T, where Q is the heat energy, M is the mass, C is the specific heat capacity, and (Change)T will be change in temperature. Here, M will be 0.158g as calculated, (Change)T will be 0.2, and specific heat capacity is a constant, found from data online, for the molecule ionone, a precursor for Iso E super (they are very similar, ionone is used to make iso E super, but there was no data for specific heat capacity for iso E super). Here the data has the specific heat capacity as being 27.5728cal/mol/K, with the 0.158g, this will convert it to 33558.5409766cal/g/K which would be 140.5029kJ/g/K. Using all this data the heat energy gained from the iso E super is 4.44kJ which is 2.34deg Celcius. Therefore, although a lot of approximations were used, given the boiling point (temperature at which it evaporates at) of iso E super is 134deg celcius, rubbing your wrists together will not immediately cause the evaporation and damage of the fragrance, as a rise in ~2deg celcius does not bring it close enough to the boiling point. However this is just for iso E super, for other fragrances where there is a significantly lower amount of scent ingredients within them, as molecule 01 has 100% iso E super whereas other fragrances with will have much lower amounts of more sensitive ingredients, this heat energy received may be enough to evaporate the more sensitive ingredients within the top note, and accelerate the fragrance to only containing middle and bottom notes. Hope this helps.
Voyage is still my go to dumb grab, if I'm going out shopping or Dog walking. I've been collecting fragrances since the seventies, so I'm not exactly a noob to the hobby. Went to bed last night with a good spritz of voyage. Had a dream i was drinking cheap wine on a rowing boat. It wore off by the time i woke up, just in time to spray on a healthy dose of Cacharel.
I bought multiple fragrances from different “houses” lets say and honestly? givenchy is the best to me. I never purchase two from the same name but I got Casual chic and gentlemen only. Cannot go wrong. Same thing with le labo, very natural does not hit me with anything synthetic at all
Literally got into fragrances last week. Used to have polo sport, abercrombie and candies back in 2002 when i was 17 😂 and now im just realizing how much i like good smells and have more experience with smells. Your channel is AWESOME! So glad i found this. Thank you ❤
Halloween Man X is super synthetic junk - that guy is trippin'. It smell like sweet scorched hair, and reminded me instantly of walking into a womens salon where all the ladies are wearing sweet fragrances and getting their hair permed. It was one of my few blind-buy fails.
@genki2genki I wore it a few times and disliked it so much I trashed it. 🗑 Sometimes, you gotta chalk it up as an L and move on to things you like wearing.
5:20 -Guys, I have to admit; I like Nautica Voyage more than Versace Pour Homme. I definitely disagree with him there, and would recommend it more since it’s cheaper and fresher. VPH is too citrusy; it worked for a while when I first purchased it, it does smell very good, but Nautica Voyage is the better pick IMO.
I looked at the refills for the sauvage and they want nearly twice as much as it would cost to purchase a new bottle. In the long run it might work out cheaper but I have so many different perfumes that it will be ages until my sauvage is finished. I am aware that the refill bottle allows you to fill up a empty bottle of perfume more than once though.
Purely by personal experience, not anybody's advice, I have found a great place to spray fragrance on to be the back (i.e., "top") of the wrists, say, along the first two inches back from the hands on the top of the arm. Yes, I spray on the "pulse points," too, but honestly I catch the wafting of the scent soooo much better from spraying the opposite side of the wrist, the top of the arm, as well. It really radiates from there. And you don't have to deal with the hassle of washing it off when hand-washing, as long as you're a bit careful about it--but that goes just as well with spraying on the pulse points, too, doesn't it.
Not long ago, I thought it'd be easy to pick three of my fragrances if I could only have three to cover all seasons and occasions. Now every time I play that mental exercise, I find myself going with ones I do love, but are safer. Then after, I'm like ugh, then I wouldn't have this or that fragrance. I could probably pick five if I had to, but I'll likely never go below ten. I just crave the variety too much now that I've gone down the rabbit hole.
@@MustiiiAaa BDC EDP and BDC Parfum are fantastic. As nice as the EDT is, the EDP and Parfum are just so much better. you cannot bruise a perfume oil, im not into colognes at this level but speaking as a culinary graduate. Oils/perfumes are an extract from the source and the oil is the form of extraction. Oils themselves can become acrid for sure, but you cannot bruise an extract or an oil as they lack the normal sugars to form such a thing. Both oils and scents in essence are an extract of the source materials that can be bruised but cannot be bruised themselves, part of why they are so good at retaining the scents. And again though it takes a long time to happen, refilling your perfume bottles will eventually lead to the residual oils in your bottle becoming acrid, nothing lasts forever

can someone recommend a good winter fragrance that i could buy when the winter season arrives, last year i had the MM by the fireplace, personally i love it but it had mixed reactions…
Would it be possible for you to compare hard candy 2022 with the 2023 release? I much prefer the 2022 release and I want to know how wrong I am.
Anti shampoo 😭😭 then I looked at your head ☠️
I wear Sauvage, Chanel bleu, Drakkar, but nothing gets the compliments that CDNIM parfum does. It’s almost ridiculous.
Same here, I've gotten more compliments for CDNIM than all my other 15 fragrances combined, second place is for Acqua di Gio Profumo
Finally ❤️💪
I trust your reviews.
aqua kenzo is similar to 1 million lucky and its affordable
Is Eros Flame and 1 Million Lucky really been discontinued?
Is it bad I just get what I like? 😂
