Disney Inspired Gardening Ideas

On a recent trip to Disney World, I wanted to look more closely at how the Disney Imagineers and horticulturists create the magical feel the world has grown to love ... and how I want to incorporate what I learned.

Fairchild Botanical Garden has more varieties of Palm and date. I think date trees remind me of palm trees. If you ever go to Miami, that is where that garden is. I used to go to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The last one I went to was at Callaway Gardens in Georgia near Columbus. My favorite is the butterfly house. My phlox that is invasive makes my side secret garden look like a jungle. I have loads of tall trees with grape vines going up 50 feet. No bromeliads in my yard. Just be careful about the gators at Disney!!! There are no places to cover when there is a thunderstorm, or like you said to sit. I wonder if I can bring a chair if I ever go back?
