The one cause nobody ever discusses is Cisplatin-Induced Ototoxicity caused by chemo treatments. Turned on in 2005 a few days after last treatment of Cisplatin. Has never turned off and has become a little louder over time. High frequency both ears, actually it’s just in my head and I long for the day of experiencing what quiet feels like just one more time. I’ve learned to drown it out with fans, music and other methods. There’s no such thing as sitting quietly and meditating for me. ENT’s have offered no options except these bulky hearing aids.

Big fan of Dr. Berry. For a while now, I have respected this woman so much for dedicating her life and mind to trying to advance understanding of our horrid problem. Thank you both.

My tinnitus was caused by a vaccine injury after receiving a "safe and effective" flu shot 30 years ago. 😐

I suspect my tinnitus was caused by my Apple Air Pods. Definitely coincided with wearing them.

Try avoiding loud sounds and headphones. my condition got better when I reduced my volume on my home theatre and stopped wearing headphones. I stopped having any cold and I drink only hot water.

I wouldn't use headphones if I were you, you can't risk the progress you've made so far.

You can use headphones, but it's important to be cautious about the volume. Make sure it's not too loud to avoid exacerbating your tinnitus. A way to measure loudness is by adjusting the volume to a level where you can still hear conversations while wearing the headphones

My root cause was the bilateral cholesteatomas that destroyed my hearing.

Another tinnitus scientist who does not know what se=he is talking about like those who claim they can cure it.

I understand your skepticism about claims of curing tinnitus. I would never say I am curing tinnitus; however, I am dedicated to helping people manage and improve their experience with it.

Dr Barry is still feeling around in the dark... perhaps someone needs to speak to Elon and have his scientists look into the issue.
