RUclips recommended your video. I was so impressed that I had to order this little guy. Not a good crawler but good for messing around inside the house. :)
With so much weight loaded to the upper half of the vehicle we can not talk about crawling abilities at all. The "ass" is so heavy asvel. But if you want to make it a real hobby grade crawler , you need to say good bye to this metal , overweighted body like i did to my of SG 2801's. I replaced it with a 2 grams lexan body shell from a WLTOYS 24438 , loaded the front axle with 50 grams lead cube, and the rear axle with 30 grams lead cube and now it is a real bully ;-)
Is there a 2 speed switch on it? The truck seems to make the same sounds when the throttle is advanced, exactly like the Wltoys 2428 does. I wonder if it's made by Wltoys, too.
yes for sure. Either the power system or the gear ratio is off. I think they are using a very low quality esc/receiver and it doesn't have enough power to move thos heavy little guy up hill.
Awesome rig for the shed!! A little back heavy but we all know we can fix that, im so impressed with the metal body! Im buying this one as well, i hope im as happy impressed in person as i was with the SG 1603. Pinecone models are great so far.. what size hex are the wheels? As usual mate a excellent video and good trailing, Awesome job 😎
its a nice but unbalanced build. Definitely the more involved rc enthusiast can surely fix some of its downfalls. I still think its a cool display that looks like its just a model truck but it's Rc! Hex im not sure. I dont have the truck at the moment but I think its the same as 18 and 24th scale hexes like the scx24 and hobbyplus cr18. I'm not 100% though.
It's not the greatest. It would need electronics upgrade if you want to make it a more capable truck. No torque and heavy. Just looks cool being so tiny and metal body.
if you have a ready to run I recommend running 2s lithium ion batts. 1500mahs fit in the stock battery location. you can run 15000mah lipos but only if you upgraded the esc receiver.
I may do an upgrade vid in the future. It's a cool model and maybe 28th scale plastic model bodies may fit and then it may perform better with a lighter body.
It looks ugly, those wheels and whide axels, plus look how high up the body is respect to the wheels. This looks like a monster truck with small wheels, and there is no way im gonna like it ever.

Bellissimo modello...wow...in scala 1/28...bel video... ciao dall'Italia
Very cool I got the Mercedes-Benz model from Pine Cone did not come with instructions now I know how to us the lights thanks
glad it helped!

definitely a cool little desk crawler.
and the small one tackles the hill as well. funny thing with this rig- it seems to enjoy doing wheelies all the time 😂🤣
Very heavy for its size but still a cool concept.
Sweet little rig for sure. It is so tiny omG! 😸✌️
It sure is!
I am waiting for one of these to get delivered. Looks pretty decent, a lot of nice details. Nice video bro 👍🏼
its a cool model just to have. looks like a static model but then its RC!
Not a bad little rig! Just needs a bit more weight distribution! That is a great crawler playground man!👊🏼⭐️⭐️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍻
Yes a lot of weight up front and low haha. It is a nice spot for these and the difficulty keeps changing so its always fun.
Very cool little rig detailing is great
its a cool model for sure. Die-cast and rc together as one.

nice!
Looks really cool
It really does look cool!
So cute :-)
it really is!
Man 1/28 😯 have turn signals etc UAU, seems very capable im impressed nice vídeo.
Thanks for stopping by!

no speed switch on this if I remember correctly. I gave this truck away a while ago. Not sure if the WLToys ones are the same as these.
very cute, definitely needs lead in the front rims, and more gear reduction.
yes for sure. Either the power system or the gear ratio is off. I think they are using a very low quality esc/receiver and it doesn't have enough power to move thos heavy little guy up hill.
Maybe some fishing weights under the faux engine?
that would help.
I've been waiting for this one to get reviewed I don't think I would own one but I want to see it anyways LOL
Its different thats for sure.

Is their wheel weights Available for the front or any offerings for this truck ? Otherwise this is a flat lander for the sandbox 😝
you would have to come up with your own weight solutions. It is a top heavy machine for sure.
@@RunThatRC seems more rear heavy too me I wonder if Axial SCX24 weights would fit? Or something in the front bumper 😝
Do these have same size hex as 24scale. Can i use a 50mm j concepts 1.0
I don't actually remember sorry. I gave this truck away a long time ago.
@@RunThatRC understandable lol np.
Thanks anyway . Happy crawling my dood
Same stay safe out there brotha!
What's the modulation like on the sg 2801.

Can you make the video how to upgrade battery for wpl c14?please

the body isnt the main problem, its the gear ratio is just not suited for crawling, not sure why you even took it on the rocks lol
I had to give it a run. You never know lol.
METAL BODY is a big no for crawler...
add some weights on the wheels..
for sure. It's all about keeping the weight down low.
Good for the shelf...
yes for sure. Static model look with rc functions.
Can a GI Joe fit in those seats? Lol
probably not this truck is small hahaha.
@RunThatRC okay thanks man
Can you do a upgrade vid on that pls. I think it nit that controled ( i saw in the video )
I may do an upgrade vid in the future. It's a cool model and maybe 28th scale plastic model bodies may fit and then it may perform better with a lighter body.
It looks really good David, but it's seriously lacking in capability due to it's overly heavy top weight.
Yeah maybe ditch the metal body for a 28th scale plastic hard body and it should perform better. Now to look for a 28th scale yota!
It really is a pity that you may have to do that,as the body itself looks wonderful.
@@semperatis it does look good. Its fun messing around on my desk so it may be designated for that. Crawling my mouse and keyboard hahaha.
thanks for the vid. I now know I will not buy one of these!
Glad I could help
