My dentist used that "buzzy" device when she had to use anaesthesia with one of her procedures and she knew I was very afraid of needles..it was the first time I saw that device and I thought It was strange BUT IT ACTUALLY WORKS! My reaction with needles is pretty bad so that really helped a lot. I'm not afraid of going to the dentist anymore.

I’ve bought from the lip bar, it’s wonderful! The color stayed on for hours. And one part of their goal is to provide shades for women of color. They also have some for kids, that only shows a little but gives them the feeling of wearing lipstick!

The sharks are looking at guaranteed return in order to get guaranteed returns you have to try to mitigate taking on excessive risk. They are smart just not fortune tellers

I saw the eco nuts one. Since than I have bought soap nuts in bulks at bulk barn for 10$ for a massive jar full. Place 6 in a mesh bag. Add a drop of essential oils for scent. Have been doing my laundry with them for a year. Cost nothing. Clothes are clean and smell fresh.
Kodiak cakes are SOOOO good! My husband and I LOVE THEM they are REALLY delicious you can find them at target every time we see them in stock we buy 3 boxes because that’s how good they are!!

It's really crass and cruel for the Sharks to say insulting things to the sellers. Is that really necessary? I guess people love drama so they ramp it up, but I think it's ridiculous.
It's called Shark Tank for a reason. Keep in mind these people are asking for tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars for their products and a lot of them do so with business models that either aren't very good or haven't been proven at all. They're never rude for the sake of it they're just trying to tell them what's wrong with their model. Plus, if you're going to get into the business world, someone being rude to you is far from the worst thing that can happen to you, so if you can't take it you need to find a different profession.
They know. They never flat out state it but there are plenty of times when they talk with an inventor and realize that they're doing so well right now that all they want is some publicity.

i know meal enders. kinda expensive for my taste but they do work. some of my pals use them with great results in trips where you dont wanna eat local food since you can get sick easily or snacks when overworking. imo really good product :O
It seems like the sharks are just way too greedy sometimes. Someone asks for money in return for 8-10%, and the sharks immediately go for 50% or a buyout. What's wrong with simply going for, say, 15% or 20%?

Working for an Amazon fulfillment center...I can confirm, some of these products are in very high demand at our location alone. Specifically the nerd wax, the bath time animals, the rocket book notebook, and ESPECIALLY Ring. These sharks missed out on a loooot!

I’ve actually purchased the ring doorbell camera. I love it ,I can keep an eye on my dogs in the yard and talk with them throughout the day. Two thumbs up for this one. 👍👍
I bought NerdWax & it works well. Well worth the buy! The company also offers “Fog Block,” a cloth that’s supposed to keep your lenses fog-free. I really wanted it to work bc when I wear my glasses they fog up with a face mask on. Unfortunately, the Fog Block didn’t really work for me. But I still highly recommend NerdWax.

Just recently purchased three Ring solar cameras to go along with our many Ring products. They make me feel more secure than any of our previous home security systems. The neighborhood section of the app is the part I’m most thankful for, especially when my escape artist lab decides to roam the streets again. The Sharks were absolutely wrong about that one.

The way they described that buzzing cold pack made me realize I use that hack all on my own. I have a very strong gag reflex and stomach issues, so I get nauseous a lot. When I feel like my stomach is about to give up the ghost, I run to the sink and crank the water on cold full blast and shove my hands under there. It serves to distract my nervous system lol. Works almost every time.

These entrepreneurs probably knew that their product could sell well and they probably even have the funds to sell more. They just needed that extra marketing avenue and they do that by appearing on shark tanks.
The beauty business is only getting bigger and stronger y’all. I have like 40 lipsticks, makeup lovers love hyped up anything from any makeup brand. And then all the youtube gurus who promote new brands because they have to make a new video like three times a week. Especially a fresh brand like The Lip Bar that is owned by Black women, I’m glad they stuck to it cuz now I have to try their stuff. Aaaand “indie” brands are more favored for the younger buyers

I saw in another video that a woman in I think the first season brought the sharks a Personalized face mask to get start-up but they didn't see a need for them she was so disappointed that she even didn't continue in trying to make the company Now that was the stupid on both parties as now everyone wants and needs facemasks just imagine the amount of money that company would have made this past year.
In the British version Dragons Den (the original of course) I remember a person was rejected by all 5 for their product idea, The Tangle Teezer hairbrush, so did it themselves. They are now richer than all of them with a net worth of over £200 million
All of these are incredible ideas, it seems that the shark's egos got in the way of their decisions. Oh well it seems that the inventors weren't meant to lose money with the sharks, good for them.

Working for an Amazon fulfillment center...I can confirm, some of these products are in very high demand at our location alone. Specifically the nerd wax, the bath time animals, the rocket book notebook, and ESPECIALLY Ring. These sharks missed out on a loooot!
I like the glasses wax thing. Especially with COVID right now my glasses slip at work slightly and I refer not to be touching stuff on my face while working. This would be really helpful!

Sometimes it makes me happy to know some rejected projects get a chance. IMO sometimes the Sharks are too mean and judgmental and should be reminded they don't define success.
They sell Kodiak Cakes at my grocery store. I used to buy the waffles, they are good!

Oh shoot, I actually recognize something there that I've bought: a Soapsox turtle! I don't even have a kid, or use it for washing, lol. I just thought it was cute (even the tag!), so it resides on my headboard.
I'm an online grocery shopper for Walmart. Kodiak Cakes sell A LOT. I've never tried them personally but I'm always grabbing them for customers.

I’ve actually purchased the ring doorbell camera. I love it ,I can keep an eye on my dogs in the yard and talk with them throughout the day. Two thumbs up for this one. 👍👍

I bought NerdWax & it works well. Well worth the buy! The company also offers “Fog Block,” a cloth that’s supposed to keep your lenses fog-free. I really wanted it to work bc when I wear my glasses they fog up with a face mask on. Unfortunately, the Fog Block didn’t really work for me. But I still highly recommend NerdWax.

Good lord, didn’t realize they rejected Ring. For whatever reason, I would have thought Mark would have jumped at that one.
It annoys me that these are seen as "declines" when really most of the time they received offers but the people actually turned down the deals.

Just recently purchased three Ring solar cameras to go along with our many Ring products. They make me feel more secure than any of our previous home security systems. The neighborhood section of the app is the part I’m most thankful for, especially when my escape artist lab decides to roam the streets again. The Sharks were absolutely wrong about that one.

I used to have the buzzy used on me in the hospital. It's pretty effective but very expensive.

The way they described that buzzing cold pack made me realize I use that hack all on my own. I have a very strong gag reflex and stomach issues, so I get nauseous a lot. When I feel like my stomach is about to give up the ghost, I run to the sink and crank the water on cold full blast and shove my hands under there. It serves to distract my nervous system lol. Works almost every time.
Sharks always underestimating today’s market of informed and conscious consumers. Lip Bar and Kodiak Cakes seemed like gold mines.

These entrepreneurs probably knew that their product could sell well and they probably even have the funds to sell more. They just needed that extra marketing avenue and they do that by appearing on shark tanks.

The beauty business is only getting bigger and stronger y’all. I have like 40 lipsticks, makeup lovers love hyped up anything from any makeup brand. And then all the youtube gurus who promote new brands because they have to make a new video like three times a week. Especially a fresh brand like The Lip Bar that is owned by Black women, I’m glad they stuck to it cuz now I have to try their stuff. Aaaand “indie” brands are more favored for the younger buyers

I saw in another video that a woman in I think the first season brought the sharks a Personalized face mask to get start-up but they didn't see a need for them she was so disappointed that she even didn't continue in trying to make the company Now that was the stupid on both parties as now everyone wants and needs facemasks just imagine the amount of money that company would have made this past year.
In the British version Dragons Den (the original of course) I remember a person was rejected by all 5 for their product idea, The Tangle Teezer hairbrush, so did it themselves. They are now richer than all of them with a net worth of over £200 million

All of these are incredible ideas, it seems that the shark's egos got in the way of their decisions. Oh well it seems that the inventors weren't meant to lose money with the sharks, good for them.
