I swear to MOSES.... If the Explorer had pills in it... I cant even imagine... what COULD be behind the dash... of some SPORT Van. If he woulda said something else... in that regard.. Ida crapped myself.
The guy who got the van probably thought he finessed rabbit honestly. Wtf was he planning on doing with those windows? Nothing. Now he’s got a perfectly good van. Probably none the wiser about the business he helped start.
These stories by rabbit specifically appeal to me greatly. I love the stories he tells bc they are about upper SC where I'm from and it's just awesome to see someone from my towm has made himself rich and famous basically and now he's spreading his love for the same places I love.
Great story. I won the bid on one of those older vans back in 1997 at Manhiem auction. Went out to go test drive it and it was a manual transmission... LOL...boy was I mad at myself! I never looked inside because it sounded so cheap! Same thing happened to the guy that bought it back from me at the auction the next week..lol
I got a feeling JC Penny gal fights dirty, Kimmy would be okay for about 45 seconds but then the drugs and cheap liquor coursing through her would take her down.
Caravans are the unsung heroes of America's suburbs. They're a worthless form of disposable transportation that is engineered just well enough to run long-term with minimal maintenance, which means they're accessible to the poor, those with many children, or people who just need a cheaper alternative to a pickup truck for runabout jobs. I bought one from a co-worker who was moving out of state for $200. A purple short wheelbase 1998 3.3L. Everyone told me not to buy it. Tires were roached, hadn't done an oil change for 16,000 miles, half the electronics were burnt out, no AC, no radio, odometer keeps resetting itself so we have no idea how many miles it has. It helped me move. It helped lots of people move. It went on camping trips. I even did an auto meet and tried driving it fast on a twisty hill for the heck of it (bad idea). Then my DD got wrecked and life took a turn for the worse, meaning I don't have the money to replace it. That piece of junk $200 Caravan is my DD now and I'm glad I bought it.
they still do. in 2019 that will be a different story they will only have the fusion and mustang left for that year then 2020 just will be the mustang.
That's just dumb of FORD to do this; sounds like they are going to pull a GM job like they did in the mid 2000's when GM concentrated and put most of their efforts to only building SUV's and look where that got them, bankruptcy!
He who makes the most is the man who is always open to opportunities no matter where he finds them! I bought a 96 dodge grand caravan years ago for $900 transmission finally went out very common anyway still sold it for $600.00 to a guy said he was gonna take it to mexico to fix it. I didnt ask no questions lol no telling what he made off of it.
A couple weeks ago I combed through every video on VinWiki looking for more and more Rob stories. EVERY ONE. When I got to the end I was a little disappointed there were no more. Today this video pops up. I took one look at the title and smiled "There's another one! It HAS to be Rob!". Yup.
I had a similar experience my self .. 200 dollar full size station wagon at a auction for a demolition derby coming up .. friend of mine and myself bought some surplus pallets at a military base.. my truck was broke down , I looked over at the 87 chevy wagon ..hmm took out the torch .. cut out the top .. convertible now lol. Went down to the auction site, had the pallets dropped into the wagon. Drove home was looking through the pallets of electronics .. found some odd ball looking controller cards .. looked em up on ebay .. they where selling for 6000-8000 each!!! .. I had 200 of them. sold them all on ebay to one buyer for 55000 could have made more one at a time .. but will take bulk over one at a time any day, one and done.
*This was the 1st story I ever heard on Vin Wiki, just seen the sad news on Rabbits channel he’s damn left the sales lot for the last time* *Rabbit was a Good ol’ Boy yes sir, gonna miss his ass so thanks $on for the entertainment👍*
he actually has proof to back up his stories? Just wondering I appreciate the guy he's a great story teller except some of his stories are quite hard to believe
I love Rob Pitts and his stories. He's the kinda guy I look up to. Chillaxed yet still profesional, the southern accent gives that friendly feel and smart as HELL. I love every single episode with him.
By the mystery of mass production, one GOOD one gets through. Runs like a champ, uses little oil, never gets hot, a/c cold , all the glass etc. Wish it was Mine, cool storytelling, btw a gimmick will always sell itself.
A true entrepreneur, one minute hes selling cars, the next hes selling home decor. Love it! Im that way too, always thing about all the different areas you can make money from. Good on him for getting it done!
"We'll buy some cheap wine (sippin' shop), we'll get em' dosed-up, walk around, buy some stuff...women in the South love anything with their name on it...the first 10 windows I done paid for my van! Result= Good concept and marketing.......
The most amazing part of the story, that little van is STILL going. I remember every Chrysler car of that era blowing blue oil smoke from the exhaust by what seemed like 5 years old. Been a long time since i saw anything, not a ram, from that time
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that was the Mitsubishi built 3.0 V6 that had all sorts of issues. This had the 3.8, not sure where it came from.
Jc penny Type girl… I’m from the south and I absolutely love this guy has sayings and that is 100% correct you put a southern woman’s name on something she will buy it
Greatest true story told ever! That man is a true salesman and entrepreneur deserves every penny he made. People sit around bitching about there being no opportunity this fucking guy made his own opportunity and seized it.
Those caravan people get attach to them. My dad has a 1995 caravan with a manual transmission. He keeps it around because he loves it and it works for his work.
i swear this guy does more stuff in a single story then most people do in there entire lives...
LOL yea i get that too
They're*
they are what?
yamahonkawazuki I'm only joking 😉
panzerveps ok
I read the title “How is this even possible”. Click the link, see his face, “Oh, that’s how..”.
My exact reaction too!
hahahahahaha true story
Same
I was like
This has to be rabbit
The Hustle is strong with this one...
same, rob's and ed's stories are golden
The salvage window guy was a very Shrewd Negotiator!
Brett Bilger lol!!
NOT LOL
Brett Bilger that’s hilarious
I see you on every video
He was though. Got what he wanted for a bunch of stuff that was useless to him
“A real JC Penny type gal” haha
I read this comment as those words came out his mouth haha
Down here you are either trailer trash WalMart or high class JC Penny. lol
He's referred to these girls several times, as if JC Penney is the ultimate embodiment of high class. Lol.
He dated a Nordstrom gal once but she was making him go broke so he went back to a jc penny gal
Others that have been on have explained girls with high standards as a "Jcpenny gal"
“How I Made 80k of a Dodge Caravan”.
He learned from the Ford Explorer that it is strategically packed with pharmaceuticals.
Holt shit that made me laugh
I was waiting for that lol
I swear to MOSES....
If the Explorer had pills in it...
I cant even imagine... what COULD be behind the dash... of some SPORT Van.
If he woulda said something else... in that regard.. Ida crapped myself.
I thought exactly that when I saw this video😂😂😂
High class JCPENNEY type gal ! :) Niiice!
When i saw the title, i knew it was Rabbit!
Penta haha I came here to post the same thing!
Of course it was Rabbit
Penta me to haha
"Who is this Rabbit guy?" That story still makes me laugh every time someone resurrects The Rabbit!
Yup...
It cracks me up how.he always refers to "JC Penney" girls, as if the store is the ultimate embodiment of high class. Lmao.
Yeah its not that expensive its just expensive if you compare it to buying clothes at walmart lol. That JC penny comment had me laughing
In most big city’s that’s a diss 🙄
It’s an old term meaning a well to do woman because they would shop jcpenny
60's & 70's inventory good quality @ decent price, for homemaking budget🏠👨👩👦👦👨👦, in it's time but no Pocorn🍿 like KMart& Sears.☹
Jacque Si Pennai
The guy who got the van probably thought he finessed rabbit honestly. Wtf was he planning on doing with those windows? Nothing. Now he’s got a perfectly good van. Probably none the wiser about the business he helped start.
@@Power_Glove old windows are dime a dozen. The only thing that would run out is the demand or the enthusiasm to keep doing it..
Rabbit be like "You finessed Me? *I* finessed *You* "
I didn't know guy fieri had all these car stories
dead
Cars, glass, next thing you know he's taking us all to flavor town!
I legit laughed out loud thanks dude
isaacwest F
We got a roast master here. ༼ つ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ༽つ
These stories by rabbit specifically appeal to me greatly. I love the stories he tells bc they are about upper SC where I'm from and it's just awesome to see someone from my towm has made himself rich and famous basically and now he's spreading his love for the same places I love.
This damn guy is THE DEFINITION of a true Hustler! I love the videos keep em coming!

YES! I love a good Rob story!
TennesseeMatt there is no such thing as a bad Rob story haha

When I see him I immediately know I am going to watch the whole video.
Me to! As soon as I saw the thumbnail and title I knew it was a Rob story 😂
always good to hear a yarn from rob xD
"she was a high class lady.. well dressed... a real J.C. Penny's type gal". Hahaha love it!
I love the birb in your profile picture
I just found out that Rob passed away from Stomach Cancer. I had to come back to this story to remember him. R.I.P. legend
He is an inspiration for any small time entrepreneur.
@Сперти за правду Some of us are hustlers while others are like
@Сперти за правду
@Сперти за правду Keep a dreamin dreamer.....
I'm really glad this was a story about entrepreneurship and not about making money by selling/repoing the same car over and over again.
Rob and Ed videos are the best
jason Jones thats what I say all the time
The guy with the glass was a shrewd negotiator.
And Doug
I love me some rabbit stories i wish he would post more often.
Totally, I also really like the guy who did genius garage, viper gts, batmobile, Gatsby car etc... can't think of his name.
I swear to god this guy is like Ricky from trailer park boys, but actually sucessful.
Denial and error pays off.
Need him back on for more episodes, always a good story.
I thought this was going to be a repeat of the Carmax Ford Explorer, except had it contained items of value that aren't illicit
Mhymyk i thougt it was gonna be the car that was filled with cabel boxes
He might be the best storyteller on the planet, I love it.
Eric Pelcher difficult choice between him and Ed...
Eric Pelcher I have some problems with understanding him, so I can't agree
Sir Wafel I can understand him fine. You probably aren't from the south.
ilovemanunited Well, I'm from Poland, so yeah.
Sir Wafel youd have way more trouble talking to me and most of my family then i can understand him better than i can my family sometimes lol
At that point you just teach yourself
Who would win in a fight? Kimmy or a JC Penny gal?
Kimmy could just sit on them with her fake ass and suffocate them. Not saying fake asses are bad.
I got a feeling JC Penny gal fights dirty, Kimmy would be okay for about 45 seconds but then the drugs and cheap liquor coursing through her would take her down.
Kimmy is from the streets dude, no contest.
I'll put a 10 spot on JC Penney!
Quality internet discussion. I love it.
Caravan for the win. Who would of thought
Vehicle Virals Would HAVE, not would of... Ugh...
Kinsey Benedict thanks for the correction.
Or WOULD'VE for short.
Vehicle Virals idk I like the caravans for what they are. I think they are cool. Not fast but convent.
NO WAY, she lives 10 mins from me. It’s awesome to hear about local stories! These torn town plants are everywhere.
who would have thought vinwiki would be so inspirational. this is without question my favorite youtube channel
I have a nothing... this time just nothing all I can say this shows brings joy to everybody.
Rob is such a smart and charismatic guy I cant get enough of his stories

As soon as I saw Rob I knew it was gonna be good!!! Your the best bro!!!!
"i've propably put every single mom in a three state area with bad credit in a mini van"
I lost my shit at this one hahaha
In the back, to be more specific. Lmfao.
Dodge caravans do make people money It made me 200,000 each year from 2008 to 2013 no joke. I’m looking to buy one now. 1994 is my favorite.
Last time I was this early Ford still sold sedans.
they still do. in 2019 that will be a different story they will only have the fusion and mustang left for that year then 2020 just will be the mustang.
Umm... They're keeping the focus too
Alex West it won’t be a sedan though it’s gonna be a ford version of the Subaru Crosstrek pretty much lifted up hatch with body cladding lol.
That's just dumb of FORD to do this; sounds like they are going to pull a GM job like they did in the mid 2000's when GM concentrated and put most of their efforts to only building SUV's and look where that got them, bankruptcy!
The Taurus is already dumped ?
Long live Rabbit. I am so glad Ed put him on here. Been a fan since his 1st story. Just a genuine southern gentlemen. Fast and funny.
Rabbit is the best story teller on here - more please!
Rob Pitts tells the best stories. Hot Rods and Happy Hour is a wonderful gearhead podcast
First story/video I watched on VW and still the best one. RIP brother

Ooooooh! A Rob story! Time to pause and make the popcorn. Love this guy.
Rob is the definition of the American Dream!! Risk and Reward in every story he tells.
VapeKing you sold a van to a drug smuggler lol
A couple weeks ago I combed through every video on VinWiki looking for more and more Rob stories. EVERY ONE. When I got to the end I was a little disappointed there were no more. Today this video pops up. I took one look at the title and smiled "There's another one! It HAS to be Rob!". Yup.
This guy and Ed have stories for days , love it

Just saw one of his windows for sale in a shop.
I love this dude, if bullshit was electricity, he’d be the power plant.

Im sure he made a good bit of money off of it but 80k is a stretch. That’s 1,066 windows at $75 a pop
i like how by just the title i knew it had to be rob....
Tylurpp dude has the craziest most unbelievable stories with to much proof to dispute
he actually has proof to back up his stories? Just wondering I appreciate the guy he's a great story teller except some of his stories are quite hard to believe
rock they are but in the end make sense and he doesn't stumble over words
I love Rob Pitts and his stories. He's the kinda guy I look up to. Chillaxed yet still profesional, the southern accent gives that friendly feel and smart as HELL.
I love every single episode with him.
This guy needs to make audiobooks or have his own podcast.
He has a radio show, which is probably available online somewhere.
Search Hot Rods & Happy Hour on iTunes
Rabbit’s stories are by far the most entertaining.
By the mystery of mass production, one GOOD one gets through. Runs like a champ, uses little oil, never gets hot, a/c cold , all the glass etc. Wish it was Mine, cool storytelling, btw a gimmick will always sell itself.
I miss my old 94 caravan. 3.8L was nice but.... Always have wanted a sport 5 speed..
A true entrepreneur, one minute hes selling cars, the next hes selling home decor. Love it! Im that way too, always thing about all the different areas you can make money from. Good on him for getting it done!
Man I could listen to this mans voice for ages...
"We'll buy some cheap wine (sippin' shop), we'll get em' dosed-up, walk around, buy some stuff...women in the South love anything with their name on it...the first 10 windows I done paid for my van!
Result= Good concept and marketing.......
When I saw the title, I already knew if was a Rob story. This man tells tales of gold.
Rob videos are my favorite they're the best stories told by the best story teller
The most amazing part of the story, that little van is STILL going. I remember every Chrysler car of that era blowing blue oil smoke from the exhaust by what seemed like 5 years old. Been a long time since i saw anything, not a ram, from that time

The 3.0 from Mitsubishi is really reliable compared to dodge lol I drove a Mitsubishi from 91 for 6 years 0 issues engine wise
Richard Cranium we had one with the 3.0 Mitsubishi engine was reliable as hell great engine
Jc penny Type girl… I’m from the south and I absolutely love this guy has sayings and that is 100% correct you put a southern woman’s name on something she will buy it
