When I visited Hiroshima, it happened to be the anniversary of the atomic bomb by chance. It seemed like the whole city walked to the river. We all made paper boats, and I wrote a personal message of love and peace on mine, then cast it into the river. I was with a great friend who is no longer in my life, so the memory is heartfelt. It was a lovely, synchronistic event that I’ll always cherish.

Aloha Shizuka. This was a wonderful video of Hiroshima. I visited this area back in 2019 but sadly I didn't have much time to do some of the things that you did. But still it was very moving to spend time at the museum and understand the devastation and effects of war where no one truly wins in a war. Thank you for bringing a bit of Hiroshima to Oahu. Mahalo!

I visited Hiroshima last year and it turned out to be my favorite city in the world. Okonomiyaki with oyster was amazing.

I will definitely try this tour guide my last trip to Hiroshima was based around the Mazda factory and museum but also got to see the museum and peace park was so moving and emotional I need to return to see so much more 🍜

It's been 2 years since I went to Japan and Hiroshima was by far the most impressive spot for me so far.
Every time I walked past Genbaku Dome, instantly goosebumps. And the museum, especially the stories of survivors in the archives was tremendously moving.
On the brighter side, the food was amaaazing (HIROSHIMA-STYLE OKONOMIYAKI is the best, FIGHT ME ;p), the castle and of course Miyajima were wonderful too!
