Nice, thanks. Just a quick question is there any way to determine who goes first, any advantage in going second? I assume the loser gets to choose, but in the first round ? And what about the second player ? Does he get an extra Knut ? Or an extra damage or card draw ?
I don't think there's an official way to pick who goes first in round 1, but fortunately I think the round resets definitely help alleviate first turn advantage over the entire game. I'd suggest either letting the person who lost last time to go first or doing a coin toss. I'm not sure what a fair consolation for going second would be, I don't know how bad the problem is and I dont know what resource would be the best to give them
In the Polish version it states that a person who most recently read a book or watched a movie about magic goes first. Dunno about the original though ;)
You may have as many cards in your hand as you can draw. However, at the end of your turn you must discard all unplayed cards in your hand and any cards you played (except for Allies) and then draw a new hand of 5 cards from your deck. You cannot "store" cards
just a question guys, if i buy a “book card” and i return it to the library in order to draw a card, the card that i must draw it’s from my deck or from the hogwarts card deck, and put it on my “wasted” cards? thank you all for your attention

How much is replayable this game? I think to give away to my friend but i've afraid that it should be abandoned after two months

If I have a hex card in play and I get a card that says I can discard a card in my hand, can I discard that hex?
Yes. Some cards do say non-Hex, but if nothing is specified you may discard a Hex.
Is this an expansion of the other Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle deck builder board game? Or is it a standalone thing?

We have just played this. Can you only have 5 cards in your hand at anytime? The rules aren't clear... We played where you could store up cards...

You draw the card from your deck
