  • In today's video I make a vase using the slab building method. I found a shape that I liked and created a template based on that shape. I go from start to finish on the building process of the vase. I have made a couple of these shapes and have used different decorating methods. Can't wait to see them once the glazing process is complete.

    Dang girl. This is awesome! You be been wanting to make one of these. I saw someone just yesterday that used stuff slabs inside to hold it up in the center. Very interesting idea. Just a little tip that will save you some time. When you pass the clay under the slab roller you only need to pass it through and back once. Hope that helps a bit. Great tutorial.
