old video and no recent replies but those are fish lockers NOT livewells. There is supposed to be a stainless strainer and the drain motor is actually a macerator as well. The foam works better when applied to the underside of the lids. the actual livewell is on the port side step just in front of the compartment in this video.
They fill automatically via a hole in the transom. When you pull it up on the ramp they will drain, well, mostly. There's a valve WAY down in the bottom of the sump area on the port side battery compartment where the line comes through the hull. If that valve is closed they won't fill.

Could be added one small piece of wood in the middle for support!!
Great idea, but if you ever need to replace those rear thru hull drains you could be screwed.
I’m trying to figure out how to fill them when they do work, is it by hand? The motor is connected to the drain only

How does it keep fresh water in the live well. To keep the fish alive
It doesn’t. The fish wells are permanently closed. They were a defective design, drain gets plugged and is unfixable. I have a cooler for the fish.
How is the foam working out?
I throw fish in mine
Not smart.. U just decreased the value of the boat..
The boat is only value is worth to me. So I increased the value.
Why would you fill these containers with spray foam?
If you didn’t want to use them as fish lockers/live wells, just use them for storage
