- I debated about doing this video for a while, but I'm not ashamed of my past anymore. I'm so grateful for all the many wonderful people in my life, the amazing experiences I had, and my ability to now go on to live the life I have only dreamt of.

I've always watched a lot of trans people's videos even though I'm not trans, “just” gay. I guess I've always had trouble feeling comfortable in my body, because I didn't feel masculine enough, which makes trans folks' problems (FTM) a tiny bit relatable to me. But those few final sentences in your video kind of wrap it all up for anyone, regardless of their problem. Bravo!
All that matters is that you find peace. I hope you do.

Well done! It's always very encouraging to hear stories of people who have left the Mormon religion and found freedom.
I always feel deeply concerned and at times troubled knowing that so many innocent people are caught up in this religious deception.
It takes a lot of courage some times to just walk away.

How exactly does he ''inspire'' people? Fact is if he was in any way qualified to be called that then he would be telling people things like Always speak out if trauma has happened to you and never try to change your body bcz your mind is disturbed. Like his mind, trans people's mind, real inspirational people are not trans people.
Well done. I can't imagine going through all you've been through but I'm so happy for you. My best friend went through exactly what you did and still to this day finds it a struggle. I'm there for her anytime she needs to talk and I love the bones of her but it just goes to show you that as much as you can be there for someone, you could never imagine or feel the pain that you go through to get to this stage. The fact is that they do Not ''love themselves'' and not possible to ''love yourself'' when one is contradicting that by chasing the impossible, like this, what they can never become which is the opposite gender. Meaning they do not love themselves by wanting to change themselves in this manner.

No matter what stage in your life was being depicted through out the video, the entire time all I could see is an incredibly beautiful person and no matter what choices you make moving forward I hope you are happy.
The saddest thing about this entire video is that as humans we just want to be accepted by society. I am the mother of a FTM amazing son whom I love to infinity and back. The biggest lesson is to be true to ourselves no matter what we internalize society judging us as....who wants to be boring 'normal' anyway to 'fit in'. Life is an adventure, and we are blessed to be loved by our tribe....but even more blessed to be loved by ourselves for that love is absolutely the most important. Go, have fun, live life, have your adventure....sending blessings and love to you, you gorgeous girl!!

Love the line 'I'm still me, but a version I can love.' Man or woman,we all need to learn to love ourselves. So much hate, fear and pain is created by people who just don't love themselves. They muddy the water all round them so you can't see what an insecure person they are. They hurt others because it's all deflection. Live for yourself. You're under no obligation to make anyone else happy.
Some souls are just Androgynous. No need to define it, it's about embracing both aspects of feminine & masculine energies. I think it's a really beautiful thing to be Androgynous. Surgery isn't really needed, just acceptance of the unique and beautiful soul you are. ✨

I am so glad you are on the journey of being the true (not real) you. I wish I could have come out at a younger age, but it took me to 57 and open heart surgery to realize life is short and we need to find our place in this world. If there is one thing I can tell you that I found extremely helpful was my faith in God. He helped me thru so much and I am so grateful for His peace and comfort. If you are still in L.A. seek out Hillsong church it is very open and contemporary and I think this will complete the circle of life for you. I pray God blesses you and keeps you as you travel this wonderful amazing journey. Amen

This stirs me deeply.. I myself have dealt with gender disorder my whole life but I had to realize in order to be fully aware and happy, I had to accept all parts of myself. Even though I feel feminine inside, I am also biologically male. I celebrate both sides of the coin and know my masculinity may not be like other males, but I love being male.
I'm glad that works for you. Some of us are so dysphoric that this is the only way for us to make peace with ourselves. Do what makes you happy.

I am gay and at times carried on acting feminine. Never have I wanted to be a girl. Can't really say I understand but I do wish that you have made the best choices for you in life. The main thing in life is to be happy within yourself. You be that beautiful butterfly that you were inside. It must feel wonderful to finally be free.
I know life is never "always" amazing, seeing this brings me hope. Hope in that some day I can be as courageous as you.
All the changes in the world can't fix what's you. You are who you are always will be. Transitioning or not you will always be the same person you were born as. The only way you will be happy is by accepting yourself for who you are were made to be. Never go looking for validation in others. Be happy with your skin. ( some people may take this the wrong way sorry if you do) but changing everything about you won't take away your feelings and change who you are. You will always have those thoughts and keep trying to hide yourself just accept you for you.

I had the privilege of working with someone who had transitioned and she taught me so much about her struggles and my prejudice and misconceptions. One thing you did not cover, and I'm sure was very painful, but as someone who grew up in "The Church", I'm very curious how your family took all this. Goodness as if doing this once is not hard enough ! What is important is not the wrapping but the content. I was told that if I had problems before surgery I would still have them on waking up and surgery just made you look the part but being the part is harder. For me it was easier, it took me 38 years but I just went into the hospital alone, had the surgery, went home, changed wardrobes and carried on with my life as before and if anyone had a problem with me it was their problem not mine. I felt no embarassament or shame, I carried my head high and got on with life. I answered serious questions if asked but other decided that who I was , was no one's fucking business. It has been 25 years this year, all good.
Have you thought about writing a book? You could call it "Amazing Day" or "Oh... What a Day" something like that. You have lived so many lives already.
LOL, I have thought about it, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. I thought about maybe writing a screenplay because I love making movies. Hahaha who knows though, I honestly never thought I'd put any of this out here. Xx
Natalie Day Hmm, why not start with your 3rd beginning (this most recent transition) where you tell us your thoughts and your experiences. Then, you can go back to some of your past, most esp. the struggles while being an "acceptable" male, then to your 2nd beginning (the first transition) and the de-transition where it climaxes. The epilogue would then be your epiphany -- and then, we see YOU, your real YOU, like a butterfly emerging from your chrysalis . You could call it "A Day's Journey." Let me know when it's opening night so that I can buy a ticket.

You know where I live young people are committing suicide every single day. Each morning we wake up to another young life destroyed, families being ripped apart and generations to come forever dainted with the loss of their loved one. It rips parents hearts out and they will never smile again, well not a true smile. My point is you live your life as you see fit, look into your own heart and ignore others minds. Live to see another day, keep pushing through and simply be you. Noone has the right to judge because one day we will die but for now life is for living. I wish you every happiness in the future and to anyone struggling in this life you are important you are beautiful and you are loved just allow yourself to see it because sometimes we can't see the woods for the trees. ❤️

You are so bold, so open, so lovely. Thanks for the encouragement about starting therapy last week. It went well, and I was finally able to tell someone (the therapist) bluntly that I am trans without dancing around the subject and interjecting/projecting my fears into the moment. It feels great to feel accepted and safe-to finally be me without the charade. It’s a small step, but I did it. I truly appreciate your openness in sharing your journey and the emotions which accompany it. I feel hopeful today, and will continue to invest positivity regarding the long haul through the days that aren’t so great. 💕

I pray you find real inner peace. Physical transformation is a covert up of the inner darkness struggle my friend. Temporarily happiness. It's an outlet of self hatred. Always remember...our bodies are just a vessel that our soul temporarily hijacks. No need to change the vessel. Changing your opinion of yourself is much more effective than having an overhaul done. After all, you still have the same sputtering engine underneath it all. Fix the engine (your mind) and you’ll learn to love every asset or flaw that can only be YOU! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and if someone tries to make you feel anything less, then fuck them...they obviously could use some engine work themselves!!! You are loved by every kind-hearted person (ie: Me) who truly care about this earth, her inhabitants and beyond. Hug the world. We all could use one 🤗
IMHO religion taught us that “ our body is just a vessel that the soul hijacks”. Religions twist things. Our body is a temple that must be preserved in Our Creator’s likeness. Our Creator has no gender. Our Creator is pure love. He wants us to love ourselves and each other. That is why I will not judge the person who made this video. I just can’t bring myself to do this. I see it in their eyes, the pain, turmoil. But, I do not feel pity, because they discovered that gender isn’t happiness. Love is. Happy New Year to all.

It's kind of interesting huh? Like I can empathize with people more than most, but I could never fully understand what your experience has been either. Then there are the countless variables, the different relationships, social circumstances, etc. That's why it's so important to share these stories. Yes it's been difficult, but I'm so fucking strong to have gotten through it. It's still a struggle at times, but all of these experiences have taught me resilience.

I have been struggling with this since I was little. I grew up in a very conservative town and in high school I was terrified of coming out, I'd dress up as women for "fun" doing student government skits etc. I had a ton of pressure to play football because my grandpa played for the LA Rams. I got hurt playing and then got heavily into acting because I could hide myself and that carried me through college and I also built and designed sets and lights professionally. I kept myself so busy that I didn't leave me time to think about myself. Until I got hurt and needed neck surgery. Since then, the depression and anxiety came on full bore and had to leave my job. All I have is time to think about it and I spiraled bad. Now, I know there is nothing I want more than to transition. I have a long way to go though and it terrifies me.
what part terrifies you - the process or other's reactions and opinions. Just go ahead and be who you were meant to be, you will be happy, by not pursuing your happiness - you are harming yourself, stop that and take a small step and find your happiness, remember if you are happy and able to love yourself properly, then anyone who is worth it will be happy for you and still love you, I wish you well and fingers crossed you will take that leap, best of luck Alexander!

I just hit 3 years HRT and almost 4 years of transitioning.... I was raised in a devout Catholic family... The shame thing you kept referring to... It was killing me. I understand you so much! It keeps coming back again and again and has only recently been letting up. I distance myself from my family still because of it. Happy you worked it out! I seem to be breaking out of it and I am elated to know what I was going through was real and legitimate. I could use a bit of advice if you wouldn't mind PM'ing me!

I remember so, so many moments in my life when people told me: "Times are good! You are successful! Why are you so miserable?"
And I just couldn't answer the question because I didn't know! I couldn't think of any reason that would justify me being miserable! So I concluded that my feelings were just wrong somehow...
It's weird. It's like society is gaslighting you in that instant.
It is a good thing you found yourself at the end. Self love is much needed with girls like us.
