And to see how Aisha casually tried to encourage viewers to have your channel shut down. Like what?
She didn’t release that it doesn’t work like that. RUclips just doesn’t work like that. It’s called fair use.
_Also if a RUclipsr keeps reporting videos for no reason they risk having their own account terminated so that was never going to work lol_ 😂
it would never happen....Narada been in these RUclips streets ( trenches) for too long.
I love how your foot stays on their necks 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol! we already knew. I cut my hair curly and straight because I know how it behaves when it is cut curly vs. when cut straight. I've seen multiple stylists on RUclips cut the curly/kinky hair blown out first and then re-wet the hair and refine it for curly wear..... Narada is doing a service because no one else is telling these women with damaged hair the truth!! Regardless of curl/coil/kinky/straight/wavy, everyone with dry hair needs a leave-in conditioner and a deep condtioner/mask/hydration (moisture) treatment!! Everyone with curly/kinky/coily hair needs a straight/blown out trim at least once a year!
I also love how their foot stay in their mouths! 😆
Right! Cuz he could just say nothing and leave us confused. Thank God for him!
Somebody has to do it😂😂😂
Thank you so much for Narada. YOU were the ONLY stylist that didn’t turn a blind eye. You listened to us and you helped.
So I knew the moment Aileese jumped ship something wasn’t right. I kept saying to close friends that I think they knew that they were damaging our hair but the money was good.
I am not shocked or surprised they are just horrible human.
They sat around and gaslight innocent women for years after we started asking questions. They made us look like villains .
The truth will always prevail.
WHAT’S IN THE DARK Will COME TO LIGHT ALWAYS!
I am glad this is Over.
@@rosieamelia5955 what did you start to implement? Hoping to see a video on solutions.
@@rosieamelia5955 what about the young lady in Las Vegas? She has been bullied on social media for telling the truth about curly cuts. AHG isn't the only one, but I'm glad they're here to help us and tell the truth!
I have a friend who still doesn't believe me when I tell her about the damage I've sustained from years of curly cuts.
@ hey, I wasn’t aware of the individual in Las Vegas. I am grateful for everyone who are warming others of the dangers . What is her name and platform?
Knew a lady who would regularly get the curly cuts as her cut kinky certified stylist instructed her to. She’d go every 3-4 months for a “maintenance cut”. There was a wedding she was in as a bridesmaid and wanted to wear her hair straight that day. She went to a stylist known for good silk presses and the stylist was horrified by the state of her hair . Everything looked uneven and chewed up! She was dumbfounded because she was getting cuts every 3-4 months so how could her hair be in such a bad state? The silk press stylist said it would be hard to wear her hair pressed out with her ends like that unless they cut the off the split ends and damage. Her regular stylist then told her that the issue could be how she takes care of her hair“in between” maintenance cuts and totally avoided blaming the cutting method itself.
@@CammyjOfficial so, she essentially gaslighted her 🥴
Wow thank you for sharing 🙏🏾 alottt of young RUclipsrs (willonawhim 🧐) promoting their audience about curlycuts
They literally GASLIT ppl who had perfectly healthy hair and great hair care routines! For what? Money? Smh vile.
These curl specialists are expensive. Where I live there are not a lot of black hairstylist and so you assume that someone that works with curly hair would be able to deal with natural hair and now I’m seeing that there’s a difference.
@@redgirlt The maintenance is the same for dry hair of any type. If you have bleached blond straight European or Asian hair.....you are going to need a daily leave-in and a weekly deep conditioner/mask/hydration moisture treatment plus some Olaplex oil on the ends only. While someone with type 1a dry hair might use a lighter leave-in mist, someone with 4c product might use the mist and a heavier cream-based leave-in conditioner. All the hair should be cut straight ( blowout or press) at least once a year. The difference between curls, coils and kinks is in the styling and detangling. I have a Polynesian stylist with type 3 hair who works in a salon with a majority white clients....if I told him I'm going to give up leave-ins and deep conditioner...he would look at me like I'm crazy!!
Her hair looks dry!
Yes and I am angry. I know I spent thousands of dollars, thousands!! They should be ashamed of themselves.

Aishia forgot that Internet receipts live forever 😂
"Umm No Imma do what the hell I wanna do" caught me off guard 😂😂 love it
That was funny😂
In my opinion Aisha really wanted to be a hair influencer. I remember how she always shaded (and still does) RUclipsrs in the natural hair space. She claims she used to be a hair blogger back in the day but I don’t think she popped off like she wanted to. She comes off as jealous of them so she used her platform doing hour long IG lives because she was finally getting attention in the hair space that she always wanted. She wanted attention and popularity but she went about it in a snarky condescending way and now it’s backfiring
This !!!!!
Yup, I didn’t like her from jump. The minute she came for nap85 I was side eyeing her. I was through with the Latoya Ebony debacle. She’s that sidekick mean girl nobody was checking for.
Nope. Mean girl and professional do not coincide.
It is SO SO SAD that a Black Woman would mislead other Black women who just want Healthy hair! Have been Natural since natural was popular back in the 70s and 80s! I have never loved anything more than my natural hair! Even through bullying and teasing! As a teenager I helped a lot of young ladies learn to take care of their hair, then it would grow and they would put perms relaxers and weave in it, so I stopped bothering to help others with their hair! I still press my hair every once in a while because I am able to pay a professional who won’t burn it out and I go right back to my curls in 7 to 10 days or less. Ladies love YOUR HAIR or you will end up with no hair!
I stopped following them a few years ago for 2 reasons: 1--The GASLIGHTING!!! Aisha would make snide remarks in their comment section on IG, and then act like she didn't know why people were getting upset with her. I bought their curly product guide and some other e-products, and they clearly referred to themselves as "snarky," so they knew how they came across.
The second reason is that I didn't like the hairstyles featured on their site. I actually tried to check myself to make sure that I wasn't being texturist. Aisha's hair looked like my hair when I considered it fried and big chopped.
I've just realized recently that I have been PI$$ED every time I left a stylist who did curly cuts AND used Innersense. They were probably trained by them. They gave me the worst cuts in my life, and I always looked better BEFORE they cut my hair. They also seemed like they could never deliver the "education" that was included in their $300+ new client "experiences."
Thank you, Narada, Shelly, and Rosie for exposing them as the grifters that they are. This reminds me of the tobacco companies. How do these people look themselves in the mirror???
I go by ingredients and how the company recommends using the product. They would have never got me with the Innersense products because I would look at the ingredients and know instantly..that is not going to hydrate and moisturise my hair. And Innersense do leave ins and deep conditioners/masks/deep treatments but these two never recommended those items....also Uncle Funky's website literally tells you to use the leave in with the gel.....Like seriously would you work with a professional who doesn't follow product instructions... Like if Olaplex says leave on for 10 minutes why they leave it on for 20? As my stylists says..just wasting time and product and time and product equals money!!
@@marleyhill34 I went to those hairstylists and didn't know anything about the products that they were using because I didn't use them at home. I never followed the detox because it just didn't seem right, and it was contrary to what I felt my hair needed. I also didn't like that those stylists seem to suggest very basic haircuts that I didn't care for, and I didn't like the way their client's hair typically looked. Unfortunately, a lot of people trusted them and the hype and paid for it dearly. You should be able to trust your stylist, and if a trusted stylist knows something specific about my hair and they don't follow the instructions to the letter, I am not sure that I would be really concerned, unless it was a relaxer or dye. Again, the things that they were saying didn't seem right for my hair.
I bought Innersense and hated the way it felt on my hair, and discarded it after a horrible wash experience overseas. I was in Africa and I ultimately found some Mielle conditioner on my last day at a grocery story to try to reverse what one shampoo did to my hair and I had to use bottled water the whole time to wash my hair. It was very short and I have NEVER had my hair respond to a shampoo and conditioner like that. It might have been the water over there as well. My hair was short and very easy to manage at the time, so I just took it on my trip because I just considered it a backup and I didn't want to risk losing the products I was using at the time. HUGE MISTAKE! My hair never looked/felt like that before or after.
there's a video of aeleise doing a curly cut on innersense's youtube page, so at the very least the company endorses this foolishness even if they didn't train them. i'm commenting that because i do think there is a difference between having a wholesale manufacturer deal(bgc/cik is on them people payroll) and actively endorsing the cutting methods
Her hair is drier than summers in Vegas!
It’s giving Shredded Wheat.

They do not play on Lipstick Alley!! They are rough to all!!!
😂
I am just glad that I followed my own routine and no one else! I do my own healthy natural hair! At 70 years old I now what my hair needs!
I used to work with girls who had big beeautiful heads of hair all textures, as soon as they started getting curly cuts, it was ruined😢
Dang.....smh...just ruining people's crowns!!
I noticed Aisha deferred to Aielesse a lot because she had more time as a cosmetologist, yet she was the one to notice the issue first ... If she had stuck to her guns, and the other one could accept her method was limited, perhaps more people would have kept their healthy heads of hair. An unfortunate example of what excessive pride can do.
Forgive me for not sticking to the point, but the way they treated Shelly and Rosie is really sad because, at a certain point, Shelly's and Rosie's wash n gos were the best billboard BGC had. No one perfected their method better than Rosie. I had seen BGC on my Instagram feed, but ignored them, until I came across Rosie on this platform. To this day, Aisha has yet to do a wash n go on type 4 hair as well as Rosie. So, to see how BGC treated the two women is really sad.
I remember when she implied that there was this “blacklist” you would be put on, because the hair styling community is so small, and everybody talks…
Now look at this mess here. She should be ashamed, but she has no conscience.
oh baby there's a blacklist alright !! she just didn't expect to be on it !! but what's good for the goose is good for the gander 😭
She thought she could really intimidate and domineer people by scaring them from being blacklisted for questioning her or speaking out... Karma is really something
ruclips.net/user/shortsbooj3eR9EzY?si=-JOR0BppCXTirFK5
Her hair is extremely damaged, but she has a fast grow rate so she has been able to somewhat hide it. Honestly, a lot of “hair influencers” do this. The very people she claimed to be better than.
*This is your calling Narada. I remember when you used to cry a lot when your channel was stuck at around 60-80k and you were just dying to hit 100k. Now look at you now you have surpassed that and soon we will be at 500k*

Thank you @Afrikanhairgod for your transparency and educating us with the truth of this nonsense we were experiencing. Healthy hair in 2025!!!
The truth will out.
This is the kind of mess that chips away at consumer confidence in the industry.
Chasing the bag and doing ppl dirty.
I'm glad you stood your ground and stayed true, Rada. Well done 👍🏽
Over 100 times?! How devastating. And to have ZERO remorse for those they provided misinformation to and gaslit… craziness! Especially when they’re charging $250+ to slap some GEL in your hair.
Girl the price made me angry 1000 for an online subscription?! Meanwhile, my stylist charges 200 for an shampoo, conditioner olaplex treatment, blow out, flat iron and meticulous trim!! My trichologists charge 60 for multiple hair and scalp treatments....
Aishia speaks with a forked tongue. So happy I escaped their cult
I suspect that Aishia forgot she said that. It looks like she probably let Aeleise convince her that she was wrong, just like us. She didn't trust her intuition and judgment, and Aeleise led her astray, too. Is it Stockholm syndrome? She started delivering the same wrong message. I don't know. It's a shame, though.
Agreed, you can see how Aeleise negatively responded to Aisha talking about the poor results of curly cuts and Aisha immediately pulls back her complaints by laughing it off when it's not a laughing matter. You can see there was a power imbalance in their partnership, and the lack of introspection was passed from Aeleise down to Aisha. Ultimately they both profited from people's suffering.
@ Sadly, you're right.
I discovered BGC in the beginning of my natural journey. I didn't know my hair or anything about natural hair. I did know enough though to know after one week of semi doing that detox, that I didn't like the way my hair felt, and I went back to leave ins, creams, and deep conditioning if I felt I needed too. It's really starting to seem almost apparent that they were scamming people purposefully. If in 2018 one of the creators of the methods realized that it was damaging her ends, then why on earth in 2021 was she still encouraging curly cuts? I have the answer to my own question though, her pockets were getting fat off of those $300 salon visits, and those paid "training" courses for stylist who they would later back track on and say weren't even actually Cut it Kinky affiliated. They really do need to be prosecuted. As "professionals" they knew there was no science behind were they were teaching. I wanted a curly cut sooooo bad at first but boy am I so glad I didn't have access to the Kool-Aid cause Jim Jones and Co. played in their consumers faces!!!!
I'm telling you if something isn't working for your hair, stop doing it. i had an itchy scalp for 5 years and I tried everything until I finally went to a trichologist clinic in 2019and they told me what to do and healed my scalp in 2 weeks. I learnt from that experience. I tried co-washing when I first went natural in 2009 and it made my scalp itch so I went back to shampoo but just sulfate-free and some botanical shampoo. Now I still use sulfates but only once every 4-6 months because I realised that I need to chelate and clarify my hair especially for Olaplex and protein treatments to penetrate and stick. Now I go and I get 3 different professional opinions on things that are really bothering me! Best if the professionals work offline but I have both online and offline professionals.
I hope your are resting and at peace. You did good work cuz you saved my hair and countless other folks. I found a local stylist and the first thing she told me was my hair was dry. You were right, been right, and I sincerely hope you feel the love from this community of folks you have rescued from this thinly veiled anti-blackness. I love you and I am so glad I found this page when I did cuz my hair is the longest and healthiest its been in years. You are a blessing to this community!!
I appreciate your kind words, and I'm glad I was able to help. 🙏🏾
You have got to be kidding me?! This is so infuriating! They have been doing the very thing they’ve accused other stylists of doing - playing in our heads! I am so angry, my hair is not the same. I am angry and so hurt!
Thank you to all of those that had the courage to speak out and help us.
John 3:21 the truth is the light. The truth will always be revealed in the end. Thank you for staying the course because now there is no way she can refute her own words.
There’s something about that woman that has always rubbed me the wrong way. She says a lot of foolishness and has been professionally doing hair for like two seconds. Love your videos!!!
I love a good drama that doesn't involve me in any way whatsoever.
But her exaggerated "Im just sayin...." facial expressions when telling people to report you gave me an adrenaline response.
Jeez she's a piece of work.
Not Lipstick Alley coming through in the clutch!!! Thank you Narada for staying true and consistent with this. And thank you to the ladies who were brave enough to speak out. Whether it is acknowledged or not yall helped and are helping alot of people. ❤❤❤
She had a live this week and I happened upon it. I clicked on it just to see what she was talking about. Well there was someone in the comments talking about their displeasure of them recommending AG shampoo so hard. She was trying to say it was just a suggestion and their was a list of others to choose from. I was like this lady does not know the word ACCOUNTABILITY! She refuses to own up to anything...smh! I wanted to comment and be like give up Sis cause she definitely isn't going to give you the response you want. Now I see her going hard with The Doux BeeGirl mousse and a few other things that I swear she said NOT to do...lol! It's so laughable at this point...but I'm sure it's not funny to those whose hair got ruined. Thank God I never jumped on that train! Keep speaking your truth Narada! I love your videos. So educational and informative!❣
They taught the stylist to use AG. That was the only shampoo my stylist was using on clients. I used it for maybe a year because that’s what my stylist used, but I did co-washes every other week, so I wasn’t shampooing with it weekly. I stopped using it when I saw someone who looks into ingredients say that was a not to be used as a regular shampoo. I was never in SSC, I heard of their method from my stylist.
She said to report the videos if we don’t like the info in them? Say less. Hope they enjoy those gifts I left on their IG accounts.
GIRL! Said “just report em” 😳👀 that was telling! Self exposing on full display ‼️
I just went out and did the same thing on IG. I hope they keep getting reported.
You always come through w/ solid education! That’s for sure! 🫶🏽 & your beard locs are coming along so nicely! They are so unique. I love it.

What a terrible experience that so many have had to endure. What a terrible experience that some many were sold as being gold and was really brass. What terrible shameful people the BGC/CIK people have been.
How fortune are we to have a caring and passionate person like you that really cares and has not let up. Stay on it and continue to care for our hair like no other!💚💚💚
0:09 oh wow… thank god I couldn’t find one of the CIK stylists near me. And Jennifer-Rose NYC who I followed before I even knew about BGC said many times that the only was to effectively remove dead ends and splits was to cut hair in its stretched hair. I’ve been doing NONB since 2021 BUT I’ve been getting my hair cut while straightened every 4-5 months. I’m so sad for the people who didn’t know 😔
I’ll likely look into reincorporating emollients back into my routine. I have been using leave In occasionally, but mostly I just use foam and braid outs are my go to.
When I found BGC in 2019 and went to my first curl specialist who had been trained by the As, she asked what was my hair goal; straight curly or occasional silk press. I told her straight curly because I had experienced heat damage and wanted to be curly only. She informed me that the only way to see all the split ends was to blow my hair out then cut. She also informed me how to minimize potential split ends in the future- keep the routine simple, don't over manipulate my hair, use silk hair bonnets/pillowcases, gentle detangling with a tool, learn to deal with functional frizz and not to add additional products as the style progresses until the next time I cleanse/condition/style, and maintaining every 12-16 weeks maintenance cuts. Sometimes my cuts would be 20 minutes long because she was eyeing every clump of hair! She would then go back and reassess during the final style. After almost 6 years, I have had nothing but great experiences with my BGC trained stylists (two). I am sorry for everyone's negative experience.
I STAYED getting into it with her online 😂! I wish I had screenshots
There is a video Aishia did a few months ago where she said she made up all the controversy to get people to join SSC. I’m not sure if it’s still up on IG. I shared it with my stylist who trained under her, and she was not happy. I thought Aishia was joking, but when I commented this is a joke right, she said she was serious.
Yeah i saw that too !
It’s still on her IG
I mean I don't know how anyone jumped on this wave of Wash & Go's by looking at Aisha hair and saying "I want that" it has always looked a stringy dry mess. What is the obsession with Wash and Go's to this extreme?
Vindication always comes and here is yours Narada.
*stringy and dry as could be!*
0:56 where the damage at? girl.... it is ALL damage. Hair looking crispy AF😂😂😂
It’s the irony of finding toxicity on one of the most toxic spaces on the internet for me. I feel so weird saying this but..Lipstick Alley for the win?…nope still weird 😖
I've sat back and watched the industry tor years. Misguiding people in the natural hair community. I reached out to the "curl whisperer" years ago doing these curly cuts and asked all the red flag questions and they NEVER RESPONDED. This was another curly hair stylist that was promoting these cuts. I've educated and corrected these cuts for years. Cultivating natural hair can be a challenge, but I'm in it for the long haul. ❤
Yes it is sad, devastating even, for those who were caught up in it. But I admit, the closure in your voice is unmatched. ❤
Let’s face it scammer season elevated during the pandemic for wash and go curly cuts. I was home watching all the eye candy style your natural hair with me while home wishing I could get into a salon for natural hair care 😮
I’m good now never found a salon to go to and meet my hair care needs but I will say thanks African hair God once I saw your insights about this particular curly hair influencer I simply unsubscribed from the the nonsensical no butters no oils movement 😢
Onward
Online Scamming is big big business!! Those two and a million unqualified people selling growth oils and snatching peoples edges for 1000 in knotless braids and butterfly locs!! TikTok is the worst!!
I agree. They'd been around for a while but suddenly took off in 2020 when 1. everybody was chronically online, & 2. The salons were shut down, so no one could get to their regular appointments. So even if someone started following the method and then went back to their stylist, it would have been almost a whole year, and by then the damage (and the brainwashing) had been done.
@@esthertjones Girl I saved 10k from staying at home and doing my own hair alone. From March 2020 to March 2021. I had been learning to do my own hair from 2009 because I don't actually like sitting in a salon. That saved me during the pandemic from this hair panic but they snatch up everyone who was new to wearing curly/natural/coily/afro/kinky hair. The women who got their hair coloured regularly were also in a panic and got damage from box dye and other incorrect chemical applications. The ones who just let their greys grow out survived better.
Very good use of your platform. Your content is well appreciated. Be well.
I am so glad the truth is finally out! Something you been knew and they tried to discredit you and all the ladies that spoke up about it. It really is a shame it be yo own people.
Lmbo 1 thing about them tablesssssssssss … they gon turnnnnn!!
You can't ignore the science for the art. One supports the other.
I went natural before all the influencing and I started with cgm. I don't follow it anymore but it certainly helped me avoid all the wrong info posted on media the last 7-8 years. I never bought into the whole curly cut thing. Besides,in my country there is hardly a curly hair expert despite most of us being curly. AND then I stumble on your channel and at last a professional echoes my unprofessional views. Anyway, the curly groups here were recommend in exactly what I had been doing. Roller set the hair, air dry or hairdyryer, and then trime one by one as you remove the rollers. when hair is 100% dry. Our thing in Cape Town is most of us are experts at roller sets.
I have certainly benefitted from this channel's advice.
Ive stumbled across this late but you were doing the Lord's work by helping and saving people's hair
Laaaawd. My stylist noticed how uneven and crazy my hair was too. I was only doing the method for FOUR MONTHS. I thank you, Rosie and Shelly for telling us the truth.
AND abother thing!! Aishia cut my hair but in her live she said she didn't... Lawd the lies
I've learned so much from you, GlamFam and Curly Chemist. ❤❤❤
Thank you Narada!!! I'm forever grateful for discovering you! You have an amazing soul ❤️
You helped alot of people so thank you!
The way they are slowly changing there principle without talking to there clients is really disappointing
It would have been a good idea if they had adapted and tweaked things to accommodate black hair but their intentions were never pure.
We were their PPP loans.
Yes I always thought a curly cut alone just didn’t seem right. I do a thorough trim on blown how hair and if my hair shape needs adjusting once back curly, if needed, then I’ll cut what needs it to get the desired shape
Nasty work, it was all nasty work. Job well done Narada.
Will you be continuing part 2 of the downfall of BGC and curly cuts?
Yes at some point but I need to know what the end looks like so I know when to cut off part 2
Thank you for speaking 🔊 on this. This is Diabolical
Sadly… I am waiting with bated breath for the inevitable response… like how is she gonna try to sliver out of her own words??? Is she going to take responsibility… naaahhh they are never taking responsibility 😂
I'm not waiting for a thing. They have been filed in the section of my brain reserved for unimportant and irrelevant and downright traumatic danger!!
She is going to ignore it and act like she never watched it because she can’t be bothered with the “drama” and watching RUclips videos. She is still advertising join SSC while all this is going down. She can distance herself from the curly cuts because that’s Aleise’s business teaching them. She has already been adding leave ins and blow outs in but not taking accountability for the messed up heads she has contributed to. We won’t ever hear Aisha apologize. I can see Aleise talking privately to stylists to pivot what they have been doing, but she will never apologize to consumers.
I’m willing to bet the defense will be that the clips are taken out of context. People love to jump on that one when they have a receipt presented to them.
Thank you Narada for everything you do.
That is really sad. People make mistakes but if integrity is something they possess then admitting the mistakes would be swift, sincere, apologetic.

I recently cancelled my subscription to their BCG as it started to come off as “let’s try this and that”. Plus, I got bad vibes from the blonde one. She comes off as very disingenuous.
Curly cuts never sounded good to me bc of all the emphasis on not straightening it for several months… how do you check your hair like that⁉️

Sadly they'll backtrack and "update" their hair Bible to save what money they can. The official "apology" will come when the checks stop writing themselve
They created opposition to become innovative and damaging.
I hope adsense paying good cause you doing the lawd's work. How did we miss this?!
The contradictions are tragic and comical at the same time. The love of money will have you lying.
this is the same woman i seen a video on where she admitted they asked them to not use oils, creams, butters, deep conditioners, etc., when they first started their challenge/cult and said that was the only way to be apart of the challenge/cult that has created a list for them to purchase so women can get the “recommended” list of the products she initially told them not to use
Lmao 😂 Where can I watch the live
This has got to count as a smoking gun and those affected should be able to launch a class action lawsuit
Ooooooo chile!
When I began my natural hair stylist career This Woman was so unpleasant to me I had to say my Peace Back to her(on my post) about Shea Butter & Blocked her & everything associated . Smh
Wow.. So what was the point of lying all of this time? Why ? Do you think it was just a money grab? All of this time I assumed that they were in business to help us but were just ignorant and going about it the wrong way. To know they were knowingly spreading misinformation is disguising, dishonest and disappointing 🤬
Wowwwwwwwww. This is sad.
Hey Narada, how many times should you deep condition your hair if it’s in a healthy state and when you do deep condition should you sit under a hair dryer with a plastic cap or will that still damage your hair?
Whew chile 👀👀👀
There is no wrong way to be right.
Let me repeat.
There is no wrong way to be right. Its the vindication for me. A public apology and restitution for all the women whose hair was damaged due to their negligence, Petty Wap-ery, pride, jealousy and downright greed would be nice. But the a win is a win!
Very telling how her partner scrunched her face up!!
She has the worst attitude ever smfh 🤦🏾♀️
