So happy to watch as a born and raised Miamian, but yo you got to do a part two later in the future. You will see how much developers are changing the landscape of Miami, but there's so much parts of Miami that makes it different. Hialeah, Coral Gables, Perine, Miami Gardens, Homestead, Overtown!!!, Liberty City, Downtown Miami/ Brickell, etc.
I was raised in Miami and here again for the summer. There's a lot of the city with a lot of unique areas. It's turning more and more into a playground for rich South Americans, but you were able to avoid a lot of those parts (e.g. no Brickell or Wynwood) and focus on some of the more local spots. Sadly a lot of the local spots are turning into condo sprawl or fading away. Decent video for the short time.

As a local (Broward County - about 10 minutes from the Swap Shop), it pleases me to no end that Tayo addressed the horrible traffic and fake people in Miami in the first 6 and a half minutes 😂 And I’m glad you met up with Czech in Effect and got some Haitian food in Little Haiti 🇭🇹 and visited my backyard, Broward County
IDK..I've lived in Miami since Oct. 2020 (Brickell/Calle ocho/ Coral Gables) and I don't have that issue with people. I'm a firm believer you are what you attract. I have a dope circle of people who help each other. Traffic is bad here but I've seen worse....also I don't have to commute for work so maybe my lifestyle allows me to avoid that.
@MrC.M.B. The not having to commute part definitely helps for you. As far as "You are what you attract," I, too, believe that - to an extent. I always stick out like a sore thumb in Miami because I'm courteous and considerate of others (and I always use my turn signal when driving). I'll never forget the time I was exiting a store in Miami and held the door open for an older lady. She said, "Oh my goodness! A gentleman in Miami!" Broward has been getting worse, as far as rude people, too. I moved to Miami January 2002, up to Broward later that same year and have been here since. I'm 44 now so I've spent half my life here. The inconsiderate drivers are so bad that I plan my entire life around avoiding being on the roads when there are too many others out there. I do all of my grocery shopping first thing in the morning when places open. Don't ask me to drive anywhere between 3 PM and 7 PM 😂 Only exception being airport runs for people.
@MrC.M.B. There's still lots of money in Key Biscayne, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, the elite islands between mainland and Miami Beach (Jeff Bezos recently bought a house down there). Weston and Parkland in Broward. And of course by the beaches. And a lot of pro athletes have mansions in Davie, Southwest Ranches
