I remember, as a teen, getting Starfox Adventures after reading about it from Nintendo Power. I didn't really know what the Starfox legacy was back then. I only knew Fox and Falco from Super Smash Bros. Melee. I remember really enjoying the game. I loved the presentation and the music. The game looked incredible on the Gamecube. The characters had fur, the water was so shiny, and everything was so polished. It also had a well done and extensive soundtrack. But I played though it once and never picked it up again. I think it might be that it was a little slow and the story wasn't great. Oh well, I liked it enough to remaster the soundtrack many years later, so that's saying something. :)
This is the largest remaster I've done. 55 tracks and over 3 hours. That's after I even omitted some tracks and cut some of them down. I wanted each song to play twice before ending, and some of these songs are lengthy. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this video and don't forget to like, subscribe, and comment with your favorite track and share some memories of this game.
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!

I'm so happy you all like this remaster so much! 😄 Thank you all so much for watching!
I think you did a wonderful job! I love this game and the music and your remaster sounds so much nicer than the mp3 rip I listened to previously.
People can talk about Assaults OST till the end, but this just fits the feel of the game in a way Assault never could
"leaf of faith" 🤔
❤️💕❤️🎃❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️🎃💕💕🎃💕💕❤️💕❤️💕🎃❤️💕❤️
I have no idea what brought you to do the music for THIS game, but bless you for your work.
This game holds a special place in my heart 🥲 honestly, my whole life I believed that people hated this game but to see people want to see this game in the future is awesome. I definitely would love it on the switch, remastered.
I think this game holds a very special nostalgia for a lot of people.
I absolutely love this game! I think people hate on it is because there is so little Arwing time. But honestly this game proves that not all problems can be solved by blasting through them (and I think Peppy actually said that to Fox), but requires on-ground work as well. The other hate I think is due to this being Dinosaur Planet 64, just made into a Star Fox game. No matter what this is easily one of my most nostalgic games.
I love this game to and the music here is fantastic one of my favorites and to me it's David Wise's strongest work.
@@KMHrock89 That makes two of us.
If it was remastered I would preorder it as fast as you can say “you missed a gold ring”!
*My sensors indicate your nostalgia is rising*
This game needs a remaster. They had not enough time to finish the game. Some areas could benefit from new content.
If only. Hell a remaster and an og port of Dinosuar Planet 64.
@@FoxySpartan117 They should make Dinosaur Planet for Nintendo Switch with Sabre and Krystal. Fox with his blaster and reflector would be a DLC. Also an online co-op mode DLC as a last add-on.
I would be happy if just a prototype of this game would leak... 🤫
Well ma'am, you're a day late and in luck.
Same here, I would love to see a starfox adventures remastered ^-^
Something about that Krazoa Shrine one always gets me.
Same! I think that's where the nostalgia really kicks in.
The test of fear was so creepy as a little kid
That's all of the music for me in this game. Can't pick just one song ahaha
It’s such a good song !!! I mean all of the whole soundtrack is amazing. :)
It’s like somethings so beautiful the same time, it’s kinda depressing.
You have to give it to Rare, even in their dying days, they could still nail a soundtrack perfectly
I still wait for a remaster of this game. It was a big part of my childhood and the OST is simply nostalgic and beautiful. Takes me back to easier days :')
I ADORE the soundtrack to this game. Alongside being heavily atmospheric, it's enchanting, it's mysterious, it's adventurous, it's creepy, it's dramatic; it's just great. I listen to it while doing artwork.
It's very good. Absolutely one of the best OSTs on the GameCube. And that's saying something because the GameCube has a lot of great soundtracks.
@@GEMGaming_yt Yeah, No kidding, especially since the majority of this game's music was done by David Wise! (And I LOVE the Rockin' in the Credits, too!) 🤩
Well said my guy.
The Thorntail vocals will live in my brain for the rest of my life rent free
Broo saaame that shit gives me chills
Ah yes, the one game that had the biggest impact ever on me
You’re not alone
:3
Let me guess, Krystal? 😏
well- yes, but actually no, I also hear the song of the snow horn tundra in my head whenever it snows
Same. This game will always be my #1.
They remastered Starfox 64, now it's time for Starfox Adventures!
Yes _lease! (your pic cit)
Naaa this game still holds up. Doesn't need a remaster. But a new next generation star fox adventures game would be awesome. With the same producer who made this sound track . Thatd be aweso.e.
Thorn tail hollow vocals got me vibing real good
Spent so much time as a kid just wandering around Dinosaur Planet having a blast
I don't care what the haters say, Star Fox Adventures is not a bad game at all. Different, but not bad.
Thanks for remastering this amazing soundtrack.
It has its flaws, but it's not bad at all.
I recently played it as an adult. I'm literally a UX/UI professional at a UX/UI codev studio and it's honestly holds up. There are many areas I had to google a walkthrough for but overall the puzzles were not brutal, interesting and clever, and mechanics were usually decently communicated. It held up with my nostalgia. Twilight Princess of the other hand... ahah
@@herb_rolls3929 Not sure what your UX Ui Qualification has anything to do with gameplay puzzle but i agree the game slaps! The atmosphere is insane
Sure hope the composer got a ton of rewards. What a masterpiece of a score
It’s funny. Many of the tracks here were originally composed for Dinosaur Planet and were ported to Starfox Adventures once Nintendo got involved with the deveopment. All composed by David Wise and Ben Cullum.
No other than Mr. Wise. Anything he touches turns to gold
@@bregowine He also did works on Melee no wonder man
@@simonzhang3D David Wise himself didn't actually work on Melee, all the music there was composed by a few others (including Kirby's Hirokazu Ando and Mother 3's Shogo Sakai), they just remixed Wise's DK Island Swing
Interestingly the only non-Japanese composers invited to make music for a smash game have been Grant Kirkhope and Toby Fox and that's not till super super recently
@@jblitz1556 Ah okay. Thx !
It may just be the nostalgia talking, but imo, this is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. It was one of the very first games I ever played, so that definitely plays a part in it, but the music, the enviorments, the sense of mystery, the graphics... It's all amazingly good. The Krazoa Shrines, Kraoa Palace, Lightfoot Village, Cloudrunner Fortress, Thorntail Hollow at night... It's all incredible
Bro same. Idk why this game gets a ton of flack and it's undeserved imo. The music is PHENOMENAL. I've always loved the game and the music. Will always have a place in my heart.
Funny seeing you two here! I also have so many fond memories of this game. Just discovered this OST today and it took me straight back to my childhood.
It's mostly definitely Nostalgia talking.
@@CantRead1definitely not. The game was enjoyable even back then. Loved the atmosphere. It was also cutting edge in tech at the time
@@CantRead1yeah I guess our opinions are wrong 😂
I know that I may not be the first person who has noticed this, but at least 80% of the music of StarFox Adventures was originally made back when the game was originally called Dinosaur Planet on the N64.
It is quite a miracle that most of the music from that game was saved and used for StarFox Adventures.
Yeah it was kind of crazy hearing almost the exact same music on the N64 version.
I honestly think that Star Fox Adventures is more similar to Dinosaur Planet then we think.
I’ve listened to this soundtrack probably a thousand times lol.
And I thank you for that!
@@GEMGaming_yt Well David Wise is amazing and his soundtracks are amazing to listen to.
Absolute beast of a soundtrack with a beast of a game to go with it. They didn't have to go this hard, but they ATE.
Criminally underrated game for whatever reason. Thank you so much for somehow making the original soundtrack sound higher quality than the original disc.
By the way, a late build of the original Dinosaur Planet for the n64 has been dumped and uploaded earlier today so you can check it out.
here cause of that too :) forgot how beautiful and ambient some of the tracks are!
I need to check that out! From what I've seen, it looks like it would have been the best looking N64 game ever!
yeah it would have been one of the best looking games on the system. Fox model it's really detail for an n64 game (and compare to crystal in that same game)
Starfox Adventures... what can I say that I've not said before? It's by and far the best game I've ever played.
The music combined with the beautiful environments would completely capture my mind as a child. I would spend an eternity wandering around Snowhorn Wastes, enjoying the day and night cycle. I vividly recall the beautiful multicoloured lights dotted around the area; those paired with the sapphire hue of night sky were such a delight on the eyes. All of this combined with the gorgeous music and the sound of the surrounding nature was utterly entrancing.
No game has come close to REALLY transporting my mind into the world it creates. It made me believe that if there was a Heaven, Dinosaur Planet would definitely be where it's at. Damn, I miss playing this game.
Thank you for the nostalgia. It keeps me warm.
I would also love to visit Dinosaur Heaven someday!

I have the shop keepers voice permanently ingrained in my head. I can hear it exactly as it would have been spoken. Gotta give props to that voice actor for making it so memorable.
"Yyyyou pay this much."
@@hannahshandknits nope that’s too low!
I love how ominous and serious the planet orbit music sounds.
I consider that to be the most iconic track of the game. It’s the first one I think of when I remeber this game, anyway.
@@GEMGaming_yt it should be, after all it's the level selection ost of Star Fox 64 kind of remastered for this game
yeah, but everybody gangsta till Moon Mountain Pass starts playing
every time i hear that title select screen theme i always imagine fox and general scales angrily salsa dancing at each other.
Wow. What a visual.

Final battle replaced with a dance-off
Loved this game and deserve a remaster on the Switch.
Loved the Darkice Mines underground theme.
Really epic Dungeon theme music. Sometimes the fan remixes are awesome to listen to.
HELL YEA
God, this whole fucking soundtrack is golden. I wish I could purchase it on Vinyl.
My childhood revolved around so much of this game and it's soundtrack, and listening to it as an adult makes me feel so goddamn nostalgic, it's ridiculous.
Classic Rareware brilliance! IMO no one comes close to (N64/GCN) Rare when it comes to soundtracks - always perfection! ❤
I was always a fan of this game. For the longest time, though, I also resented Nintendo, believing they forced Rare to cancel Dinosaur Planet to convert it into a Star Fox game. However, after watching Nintendo World Report TV's video on the Dinosaur Planet build discovered in early 2021, it seemed to clear up a few misunderstandings I'd believed for years. A Rare employee who worked on both titles confirmed that the Star Fox IP was offered to them, not foisted upon them. Rare could very well could have continued developing the game on the N64 or GameCube as Dinosaur Planet, and in fact, many in the studio wanted to work on SFA. This suggested to me that there was no bitterness or resentment on the part of Rare, as I had originally thought. I'm happy both games exist in a playable state now and am excited for what the future holds for DP.
The Fur Physics hold up to this day.
The game had amazing graphics for the time.
Wow this Remasterd version is insane everything is more Clear and so nice great work!!!
Thank you so much! I try to go for as crisp and clear as possible!
@@GEMGaming_yt Making the best Quality Possible as it should be. I Wish that standard comes back!
The soundtrack in this game is really underrated. I've been listening to it lately while working or just chilling and playing Stardew Valley with my girlfriend. It's so enchanting, atmospheric, and chill.
My OG game… played it alot in my childhood 🥹
It brings me back so many good memories🥲
can this game please be remasterd for the switch, so many great memories
Having this game on the go would be great.
I’d love it too
I have a confession to make: This is my favorite Starfox game
Same
From time to time I come here to listen to this beautiful melody that transports me to the past and brings back so many memories of me exploring this amazing world, God! seriously this is everything you could ask for in an adventure game, plus it had what it takes to falling in love as a child, dinosaurs, space travel, exploration, a brave protagonist, comedy, a beautiful story, you don't know how much love I have for this game, I still have a physical copy and from time to time I go inside to explore dinosaur planet and relive memories of my chilhood, I don't wanna lose hope of a remake, thanks for this beautiful soundtrack compilation ♡
No love for that nice little sax piece that plays when Fox meets Krystal?
I just find it so cheesy. Lol.
Well, if it makes you feel any better, that part plays at the end of the "Credits" track. 😉
One of my favourite games ever forever!
The voices in the Krazoa Tests themes are saying, "Test of..."
I’m still playing this game on my GameCube in 2021 ! And it’s still wonderful for me ! Best video game ever ❤️❤️ Every time I played it’s a new a story 😍
I beat it on the Wii last year. GC games work on the Wii. I first started playing it in the fall of 2019, but I got stuck in the Lightfoot Test of Strength; I put it to rest until the summer of last year, when I bought a turbo controller which helped me so much.
@@mariokart8715 you can beat it using a spoon on a normal controller. Simply just slide the spoon back and forth on the A button.
I would love a remastered version of this but I would love even more a true sequel of this game where you finally beat general Scales.
In the original game the 6th test was going to have Fox fight Scales, but they were too pressed for time and had to cut it out. Much like many other pieces to the end of the game :( I'd also love to see this game redone, but with the original ending and gameplay.
@@Pizzaqueen2002 fun fact: if you don't step up to fight General Scales, he just stands in a ready pose and does nothing but jump between a few generic attack poses. Nothing happens until you draw your staff. :) It's actually really funny, you can literally stand there in front of him, staring at the menace who has gripped the entirety of Dinosaur Planet in his claws the whole time, and he just kinda hops back and forth like a Sharpclaw on standby.
The DP prototype leak has had me play this game for the first time, and I really like it, despite what had to be cut! It has the Rareware quality and feel, including the humor! 😄
Incredible remaster! Soundtrack is great. The music that plays when you're on Scales' ship at the beginning has the DK Country style all over it, no surprise!
You can definitely hear similarities in the music to a lot of other Rare franchises.
I really love this game, I think mostly because it really fleshes out not only the routes StarFox goes for the sake of it's missions, but also with giving us more details to the worlds they explore instead of just giving us birds-eye-views from space or have us zipping through it as we shoot down enemy ships.
3:11:31 If anyone pays attention, you can hear that the xylophone goes out of sync with the music after the first loop.
For some reason, that part of the MIDI ends much shorter before the main melody repeats.
If the music keeps playing for hours, the desync will get worse and it will play much earlier each time.
This is... exactly what we needed.
This is one of those Soundtracks that define my childhood!! Thank you so much for uploading this
This was my first star fox game, i also had never played a zelda game up to this point, i loved it because i didn't know any better, after playing ocarina of time and starfox 64 i realized this wasn't as special as i initially thought, the nostalgia is strong for me here, the aesthetic style and music are top tier
27:25 is beyond magical....transports you to a different world. ❤
Thank you for this. Seriously
Thank you for listening to it!
This is one of the best remasters of the soundtrack I've heard in a long time. Bravo! I would so love to download it too. Thanks so much for remastering this.

This game needs a sequel. Arwing squad clearing an old Andross base. Four characters that you reunite with over the course of the game, each character offering their roles in exploration and problem solving. Large scale arwing battles toward the later half of the game as you find the base was actually one of a network. Fight in the space between, dueling bosses and eventually a superboss when your progress lets them loose in the environment, resolve with a classic andross fight against a monster that isn't Andross. Optional four player mode, with increasing hordes of enemies and boss HP.
ay oh, ay oh

I can't wait to remaster that one. Some of the pilot themes are straight up bangers!
@@GEMGaming_yt Dr. Stewart's theme is a total rave.
@@samconduct1356 other favorites are Mrs. Arrow, Princia Ramode, and Kate Alen. As a kid I would look through all of the driver profiles to hear the music and move the vehicle around. I spent a lot of time on Princia. I even had them on my iPod and would sing them in the car!
@@GEMGaming_yt those are also some of my favourites, Silver Neelsen's theme is another one. The overall soundtrack to this game is fantastic.

Seriously one of the best sounding and looking games on the GameCube.
RARE needs to make a ship in Sea of Thieves that mimics General Scales’ Galleon.
What a vibe and nostalgia trip that would be!
I obsessed with this game so hard since I first played it when I was seven, mostly just for the soundtrack alone. I think I actually made a save at the ocean force point temple and copied the file just so I could go back to listen to the ocean force point music whenever I wanted to xD

This OST needed that remaster ! Thank you !
DarkIce Mine Waterfall is fuckin trippy
back then i didn't realize it
oh and Ocean Force Point Temple soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous
Thanks bro ❤️ my favorite game ever.
The last great Rare game from the golden age, Dinosaur Planet was going to be their magnum opus...until Nintendo hijacked it. Would and should have been perfection. This is Rare's version of Zelda. With the Gamecube, the sound went to another level. Of course David Wise was involved in this phenomenal music.
Yeah Nintendo wanted the extra sales from Star Fox brand recognition. I do wonder if Dinosaur Planet could have become its own classic IP without the Star Fox name. Corporate interests ended up being the deciding factor.
Thanks for uploading! This soundtrack is really slept on. Lots of really good atmosphere here, and some great melodies too.
Ce jeu c'est toute mon enfance vraiment ce jeu est d'une beautée incomensurable quelle nostalgie ! , je suis persuadé et j'espère réellement le remaster switch ou xbox et PS5
THORNTAIL HOLLOW VOCALS is a classic! Wish they’d sell this soundtrack, but last I checked nobody does.
Dude thanks so much for this!
Amazing! Thank you!
Damn dude... the feelings. Great job for that remaster tho!
Thank you for this. It's so refreshing to see other people who love this game as much as I do
Cape Claw and Thorntail Hollow; two of my most favorite tracks in this game.
I've always liked video game soundtracks, but it's only now when I'm older I realize why. Just take the music away from the context of the game and you can easily be transported to wherever the piece wants you to go. With Cape Claw, I'm always transported to my peaceful happy space.
Fully agree and wow these were my favorites too always gives this tingle in my stomach of excitement something I used to feel alot of as a kid
Adored this game from the moment I first played it. And this soundtrack reminds me of so many points in my life. Being 6 years old and not knowing what the fuck was happening in the game, being a bit older and falling in love with it, being 17 and working my first job, finishing work on a Sunday and eating pizza whilst playing this on my brothers Nintendo wii, and very recently, over the last year, drinking some good whiskey, and playing this on emulator. So many memories still being made with this game.
That nostalgia must be amazing. I'm constantly torn between playing a new game from the backlog or replaying a favorite (or working on a remaster video). I've been really wanting to go back and play through Jet Force Gemini again.
@@GEMGaming_yt I get you bro. It's always great to play a nostalgia classic. I do it all the time ahah. The gamecube era for me is my favourite, and it never fails to fill me with joy playing the games I loved on the GC as a kid.
amazing work, thanks
By far the best Game I've played. God.... Such good memories
Looking back the GCN had a bigger impact on me than the N64 and the Wii. So many classics on that console
Well done!!! Never knew I needed this!!
I can sense the love you put into this. Amazing. Thank you so, so much for the attention you are giving to this game.
It could have been one of the best adventures of all time, if it would've given more time.
A full fledged remake with additional content would really be able to turn the tables entirely.

Awesome! Thank you so much for this!
I absolutely love this game. It was my first entry into Star Fox so I was sad and confused as a kid when I learnt the rest were just TPS games (mind you I was still a kid, they're not "just TPS" games now)
Was anyone else terrified of the Shopkeeper as a kid? Because I sure as hell was. Dude floated into my nightmares a few times too lmao. I think it was because Shopkeeper is a floating legless dinosaur that ALWAYS knew where hou were in the store.
Was my first Star Fox game too. Makes me wonder how I even knew about it. Probably from reading Nintendo Power.
Shopkeeper was definitely creepy. The voice was iconic but completely felt out of place.

43:31 best song in the entire soundtrack imo
Hurry my boy!! Ova HERRREE!
this is a great inspiration for making music

Such a good game that could have turned into a great franchise. I like to think it would have been better if Nintendo didn't step in and tell Rare to change so much.
2:46:32
Just pinning that sexy sax line I really like.
And the RUclips thanks you. lol
I love listening to older music, especially from the GameCube era. Although, it holds a special place in my heart and brings me great joy listening, it also brings pain and sadness, it’s just knowing that some memories are impossible to recapture, and some people who helped create those moments are just memories now.
Yeah, nostalgia can give you a feeling of sadness. Wanting to feel the same as you did in the past. Just remember that you have lots of time to create new memories!
This, Chamber of Secrets and Rayman 3 had the best soundtracks when I was a kid, still listen now. The vocal version of Thorntail Hollow is amazing
Chamber of Secrets? You mean like Harry Potter?
@@GEMGaming_yt yeah! It was done by Jeremy Soule before he started working on the Elder Scrolls games. The track 'Ambient' and the stuff that plays when you're just wandering around Hogwarts in the day are really nice. Could fit right into Oblivion

This game is my most favorite gamecube game
The inside krazon place soundtrack is my favorite
Such an amazing game. Sadly because weren't stuck in a ship for the entire time, we didn't really get a sequel.
I think there were a LOT of reasons why we never got a sequel. I think this game would have done much better if it was released how Rare initially envisioned it on the N64. It would have probably been one of, if not the most technically advanced games on the system.
Ok, be right back, I need to go get my Gamecube and play this game again.
