    About Pegasus Airlines (from Wiki):
Not to be confused with Air Pegasus.
Pegasus Airlines (Turkish: Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş.) (BİST: PGSUS), sometimes stylized as Flypgs, is a Turkish low-cost carrier headquartered in the Kurtköy area of Pendik, Istanbul with bases at several Turkish airports.
On 1 December 1989, two businesses, Net and Silkar, partnered with Aer Lingus to create an inclusive tour charter airline called Pegasus Airlines and services were inaugurated on 15 April 1990 with two Boeing 737-400s. In Greek mythology, Pegasus (Greek: Πήγασος Pégasos, 'strong') was a winged horse sired by Poseidon, in his role as horse-god, and foaled by the Gorgon Medusa. However, four months after the launch, Iraq invaded Kuwait and the seven-month occupation that followed had a serious effect on Turkish tourism. By 1992, tourists began returning to the country and Pegasus grew with the acquisition of a third 737-400. The airline leased a further two Airbus A320s to meet the summer demand.
After two positive years, Aer Lingus and Net sold their shares in the company in 1994 to Istanbul-based Yapı Kredi bank, making Pegasus a purely Turkish company.
Pegasus Airlines operates a one-class interior configuration on all of its aircraft. A "Flying Cafe" is available to all passengers whereby food and beverages are provided for an additional charge. Pegasus is also considering installing in-flight entertainment and charging for headphones (currently, only overhead screens are available on selected 737-800s and they only display a computer-generated map showing the flight's progress).
About the Airbus A321neo (from Wiki):
The Airbus A321neo is a single-aisle airliner created by Airbus. The A321neo (neo being Greek for "new", as well as an acronym for "new engine option") is developed from the Airbus A321 and Airbus A320neo family. It is the longest stretched fuselage of Airbus's A320 series, and the newest version of the A321, with the original A321ceo entering service in 1994 with Lufthansa. It typically seats 180 to 220 passengers in a two-class configuration, with up to 244 passengers in a high-density arrangement.
The A321neo was announced by Airbus in December 2010, as an improvement & replacement to the A321ceo. Fitted with new engines and sharklets as standard, the A321neo has the longest fuselage of any Airbus narrow-body airliner of commercial use. Fitted with CFM International LEAP-1A or Pratt and Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engines, Airbus advertises a 20% increase in fuel efficiency per passenger, with 500 nautical miles more range, or 2 more tons of payload. Boeing introduced a new generation of their competing narrowbody family 737 MAX one year after the introduction of the A321neo.

It's important to remember that the people who are most likely to write online reviews are people who have had a bad experience and need to vent their frustrations somewhere - negative online reviews can be devastating for companies, especially smaller ones, so it's a way for an individual who's feeling crushed by a massive corporation to get a small amount of payback. Also, thank you for your lovely video! It was quite helpful for me to decide whether or not to fly Pegasus! :)

Flew Stanstead to Istanbul with them a few years ago.
Flight was delayed by 30 minutes, not very clean, but the crew were very nice and accommodating.
The Pegasus lounge which cost about 15-20 euros at the time, was an entire negative: Unclean, people sleeping on couches with bare feet without any management at all. Slow internet, lack of plugs, food was stale as if it had been sitting there all day long without being taken care of.
Had no expectations for 15-20 euros for the lounge, but I was still disappointed.

I have flown on them a few times. You get what you pay for basically. Not wonderful but not that bad either. The first half of this video was about Bucharest Airport which is nothing to do with Pegasus Airlines. As for Sabiha Gokcen, it only has one runway so is prone to delays especially in bad weather.

I flew them in end feb and march from HEL to AUH their not that bad what people say. My first flight was delayed 30mins and i had 1hr 45mins transfer and at arroval hall there was one guy waiting for delayed flights passenger and took us to our gate skipping passport control. However they scammed my preordered food and lost my bags but got it thankfully in 1day after they lost it thanks to AUH good service. My return flights were eventless got my preordered food but they took my carry on at AUH and put it on cargo hold and then somehow SAW ground lost it again and i had 3hr transfer…..

This is the most irresponsible airline ,i had a flight with them two nights ago , they had 2 hours delay before boarding and after that when landing we were in the air for 2 hours at the destention airport ,they tried landing for 4-5 times with completely normal weather but they failed to do that , then they said we are almost out fuel and changed they landing place to another airport nearby which was only for domestic flights(ours was international) .then we had to stay 3 hours in the airplane to refuel and fly to the main airport again meanwhile they even refused to give us water , they said we dont have free water even in emergency situations .after all of this me and so many other passengers missed our connection flights and they refused to pay for our flight or even try booking us a new one and said go sue to whom ever you like ,the funniest part was they lost so many people's luggage and they said they had to wait 3 days until they get their luggage back , this airline is disaster

Worst airline for international flights. First flight was severely delayed so missed the second connecting flight with about a 100 ppl. I stood in a queue for 6 hours to get a change in flight and hotel for the night , some stood in a queue 8 + hours. Im young so i could somewhat stand it (was so humgry , weak and had ppl blatantly jumping queues). There were older people and families who were in much worse conditions. Worst airline , worst customer service . Lesson learned. Next time ill happily pay £200 extra to not experience this travesty again.

Give over with your ant-smoking whinges. At least they provide a smoking area. Pegasus airlines have no control whatsoever of Bucharest airport and therefore dedicating half of a video about Pegasus complaining about Bucharest airport is not really fair to them, is it
That meal is far superior to what even some of the better airlines serve in Economy on longer flights.

We all have a responsibility when we criticize. It cost a lot of money t run an airline, and then it is irresponsible to criticize on the wrong basis. I haven’t seen this video, but I have a question. I was going on with Pegasus to Antalya from Istanbul. But passport control took too long, so the flight to Antalya left without me. An employee at the airport helped me with everything, so I got a free ticket to Antalya three hours later. For free? When I was going from Istanbul to Skopje, I went to the wrong airport. But the next day I got another free plane ticket. For free again!? My question is: Is it common for airlines to hand out free tickets that way?

    • @theRealJohnnyG.
      @theRealJohnnyG.  3 месяца назад

Thank you for the comment. If you can't make the connection flight due to a crowded passport control I think the airline is actually required to pay for the next flight (if both flights are under the same booking with the same airline). However, if you go to the wrong airport without any wrongdoing of the airline that's usually on you.

I agree they are terrible, even much worse than Ryanair or Wizzair. But the price, especially if you buy when they have sales, which is quite often, is unbeatable. For example, I bought a flight from Germany to Russia for just 50€. Other options would cost at least 6-7 times more.
