everytime i see this man i feel regret so much regret that
back then when i was in school i was really good at badminton :(
then i chose a wrong college that dont have any badminton club :(
i told my dad i want to apply for a college which have a better badminton club
my father told me '' u cant keep up with the grade ''
so i was so scared became a looser who thought ' if i go to that high reputed college i cant keep up with their grade system or may be fail in exam but i could try hard for the badminton
also i dont like study too much :')
so now i regret that i could be a national player if i try hard from that college
many national club members told me u should try but its too late :(
i am not that good anymore like i used to
now i just sit in home and just draw :')
and watching this video and little bit crying
i should have join that national club college :')

What you do, what you say and how much you have improved over the years is inspirational and admirable, Viktor. Often times I find myself discussing about the badminton scene and we do find ourselves agreeing with the fact that Viktor Axelsen is an all rounder on-and-off court; your sportsmanship, your drive to succeed, your humbleness, and so on. It is certainly a breath of fresh air to have someone like you in the scene. I bet that young (not forgetting the older ones like me) aspiring badminton players now have not only Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Fu HaiFeng, Taufik Hidayat, Ma Jin, and even Kento Momota, just to name a few, as inspirations. Keep spreading the positive energy! Also, congrats on your recent wins and wishing you all the best. Can't wait to see you on court in the next tournament. I am certainly looking forward to future matches between you and Kento Momota. It's going to be exciting! ;)

Well done for the last 3 weeks, fantastic to see. We spoke before Christmas about your foot surgery and I mentioned I damaged both knees and needed surgery. Operations done, started running and hitting shuttles again this week !!! Fitness getting better thanks to your videos and nutrition advise. Most of all I wanted to say a huge Thankyou for inspiring me to work hard on recovery and the correct mindset. Wishing you every success and stay safe. We will have to arrange a game when you get back to the UK. Irll go easy on you. 😂. Mark

Hi Viktor, for young female athlete like me (13 yr) better focus on Technique or physical ? Cause my coach ( very old coach) always told me to focus Technique, but I always lose to player that stronger and faster than me,when I used dumbell etc, he always angry and stop it, so I need another opinion, especially from profesional player like you

Hey Viktor....I watch your videos with my 14 year old son, it's very informative. My son has been playing from last 4 years though not much success but he enjoys the game.
Question : I see many kids below 14 in India practicising 6-8 hours and doing rigorous fitness, studies are not priority. I wish to understand your thoughts for that age ....balance between practice and school. How life changes from junior circuit to seniors? Thanks

Hey viktor well played last three weeks. I love your smash they very powerful. And can i ask you a question I am 16 yrs old and I am good player but I practice Badminton in plastic shuttle and now I am going to play in feather can I be a good player now.
Even I played with nylon till 14 then I played with feather now I have secured good ranks in various tournaments.Hard work beats everything my friend
