Hi Viktor...i have seen almost 80% of your matches live or on RUclips...i really like the way you have grown up as player in the recent past. I really appreciate how you have started controlling your emotions on court especially at crucial junction. I respect you as a player. The best and I think the most powerful unique shot you execute is the "backhand smash" which is so powerful and unpredictable that 90% of times you win that point. All the best to you for the coming tournaments.

Hello Viktor, first of all congratulations with your World Championship! Your tip about having fun is the best of all, I play badmintion for about 40 years and it still is a very satisfying sport. I know it is not very popular in most (European) country's and Denmark is about the only exception to this but I think it would be a very good sport for children to begin with. In my opinion it is a sport that is great for all your physical ability's. Fine motorics, footwork, arm movements, seeing depth, speed, know where a shuttle most likely will end up to get as close as possible to hit it back (so, in fact a sort of mathematical advantage), speed in movement and quick thinking and response.I hope you will be a great ambassador for badminton in Europe!

It is even good for older beginners :) Two questions though: 1. Do u have some home or off season exercises? Or something that u can do without gym equipments? 2. Just fun question: where i can get those kind of track suits??

Yeah. It is just, for must of us, Your fan and most enthusiasts.. We don't have extra time to go to the gym or even train badminton on the court, but still do want to improve. Probably not even because that we don't have the time, but the court times are just limited.. I am kinda having a self research on how to improve. And... What type is the track suit again? :)

Hi Viktor! Congratulations on your amazing win in the World Championship final. Beating Lin Dan in such a comprehensive manner was commendable. I am an amateur badminton player from London, played club levels however never took badminton professionally. Nevertheless, I love watching badminton matches and admiring the skills of young players like you. One exceptional trait of yours is your flexibility considering your height. Tall players like yourself get distinct advantages of creating steep, sharp angles however many of them fail to maintain flexibility (Bao Chunlai, for an example). Your gymnastics training and hard works have made you a rare combination. The time ahead in the world of badminton seems to be your reign. All the best wishes !

is there anything in your game, where you think, you have improved the most over the past year?
and are there any other things, you like to improve in the future (for example: netgame, footwork, mental things, tactics etc.)?

Plus the team doesn't like me cause I'm ambidextrous.
Yup, i need inspiration and I always watch Viktor's matches to improve no matter what, I hope you get better soon and I'm excited to see your new matches!

Wow. Its really nice and motivating to see my favourite badminton player give tips. Funny thing is i do all of those already but. I focused on inproving my strength and cardio so much that i forget that badminton needs flexibility. Thank u for the wake up. I need to start more flexibility training.

Good tips, personally I find tip #4 to be a very important one. Working on flexibility helped me greatly on the count and had me returning shots I was never able to get to before. It takes opponents off guard sometimes when I reach shots they think I won't get to. Thanks Viktor!

      Hi Ayaan.
Mental training is a really important part of my training as well :) You can read a lot of books on this matter. You have to find out yourself what works for you.

Hi Viktor, First of all thanks to RUclips for connecting superstar like you to us. I'm a big fan of yours. I was cheering when you were at Bangalore for PBL. At present, I believe you are at your prime form. I loved the way you tackled LD and LCW. I'm an intermediate level badminton player and I would love to hear few tips on 1) strengthening and core exercises you follow, which makes you stronger and competitive as ever and 2) food diet which you adhere to. I am sure that this will be very informative to lot of upcoming talents around the world. Wishing you to continue your winning streak. Good luck, stay blessed !!! -- Naveen Shekar (Best Club, Bangalore)

Hi Viktor, first time I couldn't see you on court and gears. Awesome to hear tips from an iconic player. Excellent tips you have given. I would like to know how to create backhand shots just from simple wrist twisting ? I see you do this a lot. Please post videos on how to practice those shots. Thanks a lot :)
