If Brittany wins this there's going to be some chatter in the off-season. She's been coming on strong this year.
This will be the first and last event for Athlos. No advertisement, no promotion, and placing it after the track season has pretty much concluded. I’m glad they’ll be recognized and compensated well, but in order for any sporting event to be a continued success you need the views and I just don’t feel they’ve put this meet out there enough to acquire those views.
Plenty and you sound ridiculous. You can not predict the future. All 36 athletes enjoyed themselves. The fans enjoyed themselves. Why post negative. You sound like you lead a boring miserable life. Get out more.

I am looking forward to this Athlos event. I love watching women's sprinting, especially relays.
Klaver is the only Dutch who is gonna be there. It would have been nice to see Visser run hurdles.
I think Bol is resting and had plans because she is moving, but she would be stronger in the 400m than Klaver.
Brittany is running a double, should be interesting. She is stupid fast right now. She is making it look easy.
I figured Brittany because her fitness at the end of the season had been in gear. She put it on Thomas. Not surprised she won.
Unless changes are made on this meet it might not last
I'm not hating but we all know that T&F is the most equal sport so splitting it with genders is a bad idea
Not to mention how late it is on the season
So all in all great idea but terrible planning
I agree on T&F being equal in pay, unlike other sports. I get that the track athletes don't make much and these women want that prize and participation money, but this is opening a Pandora's Box that should not be opened regarding gender exclusivity.
Imagine MJ setting up Grand Slam Track as a male exclusive event and getting away with it. 😑

I think this is just Gabby trying to reach the levels of the Jamaican trio and Sha'carri in popularity but she went about it by using the gender equality instead of making it for all athletes
They get payed the same amount so I don't get why she's trying to look like some victim of this gender war
Most sports don't have the privilege of getting equal pay
In T&F they struggle together
What I do know is that if the men start their own leagues the females will start struggling because sponsors will mostly go for them
Because the facts are we as viewers only want the big 3, Sha'carri, Alfred, Sydney on the females but on the males there are a lot of big names

I like what you said about Torrie Lewis but you failed to mention that she's literally just stepped up from junior to senior league.
I just hope the elite athletes plan to race more often next season. Hopefully the Jamaican sprinters will show up to world's ready to challenge for gold.
For such a high prize pool, I would think that they would get more top athletes competing in each field. They have bug names spread out in different events, but those are the ones that are obviously going to win. I’ve seen other meets have more competitive matchups than this. What’s the issue? The timing?

TOTAL RUNNING 🏃♂️ I've never understood why nobody puts Florence record, over laid over a modern video. The variables are the same. The frame where Movement at start, to the frame on the line. It would be easy to match fps. Would be good to visual see if Florence record is legit. ✌ would make a amazing video that spectators and athletes would love to see ✌
