    Awesome job producing that and thanks for testing our FIRE X drivers. I have a few comments. The thing that stood out the most to me is the launch angel and total height of the ball in flight. With the shaft that came with our driver the launch average was 2 degrees higher launch and 30 feet (10 Yards) higher than the Callaway. I'm not sure the loft of the Callaway you used but it certainly hit the ball much lower. That is a big deal for reduced spin rate, ball speed and overall distance. When you put the Callaway shaft in the FIRE X it did reduce the launch angle, overall height and improved the performance. Loved how you explained CT. The FIRE X is around 330 CT. The Callaway is around 240 CT. I would love to see the numbers if the launch angle was the same on both heads. I would expect the FIRE X would be noticeably longer. The USGA measures CT for a reason but all things need to be equal to see in on a simulator. Thanks again for putting all this together.

      Hey much appreciated for the feedback! The Fire X is certainly staying in pops' bag so hopefully we will be able to tweak our settings a little more to find the optimal combination for distance! It should be a lot of fun throughout this indoor season, then back out to the courses in the spring! 🙌

    The actual Headsdont make a difference if the have the same loft ! The shafts are what matters more : the kickpoint of the low or high + the torque of the tip + the flex + the quality of the graphite and all this is in relation with the spin rate of the ball .... Lastly , the lenght of the club is the most obvious factor : add 1 inch ,it will add 10 yards !

    • @muskratlinksgolf
      @muskratlinksgolf  2 месяца назад

      @@normandbisson6767 The heads have many properties that affect launch data, but as you say the shaft is also a key piece of this. Many pros actually "pure" their shafts to find the "top" to make sure they get one that is the most optimal and install in the right orientation for their game. It's a deep rabbit hole, but that goes for pretty much any part of golf ⛳
