I messed around with this at the SimExpo. It was okay, but not great. For just $50 more, I can get the HOTAS Warthog from Thrustmaster. For $20-50 more, I can get a WinWing Hotas kit. Both of which felt WAY better in the hand. The only thing that HORI has going for it at this moment is that they ship with the desk mounts. This is a $250-300 setup.
Kind of reminds me of the x56 and given the options out there I think they have missed the mark with the price, I'd pay maybe 200-250 at most if I'm being honest
Yeah, I got my Winwing hotas for not much more than than that with a lot better construction and materials. They missed the mark on the price. I do like the inclusion of the mounting brackets though.
Seeing as how I own the Saitek X56 Rhino that is cheaper than this, and I had the Ace Combat 6 Flight Stick from Hori on Xbox 360 I can tell you that anything by Hori that is over $200 is not worth it. That flight stick for Ace Combat was absolute trash.
For few more money, yo can get a Thrumaster HOTAS Warthog, not the same quality at all..... and for less money, you have a Logitech x56 wich is probably better than the Hori...But for 500$ or a little more you can buy a Winwing and even a Virpil HOTAS, ok, without mounting parts, but it's another world.. so much better. Sorry Hori, but this price is a joke...

Best Buy has these right now on clearance for $250.
That is why I am here as well and after watching a few videos the consensus is hell naw
imo buying flight sticks for ~500 right now is insane with moza ffb flight stick (base) just on the horizon for a little more expensive

Not sure really if it's worth it, similar setups while not as many buttons, can be had for near $170
There’s a 350 version on Amazon:p
XP’s sim room is starting to look like an Amazon warehouse with all that inventory 😎
🤣🤣🤣
I do it for science man, lol

Hi Captain. USA is not under attack so you don't need it.
Use for War Thunder or Digital Combat Sim (DCS). Thanks for sharing this!
RTT

This a nice product and all but the price is gross. Winwing is the gold standard. Hope no one gets to them and they raise their prices
