I gotta say, man, I really respect how much you advocate people play games how they like to play. There have been so many instances of my friends playing great games and then dropping them "because this just isn't fun," and then I find out they're playing on some "ultra-hardcore no-hud one-shot apocalypse torture 'red-hot-sounding-rod' mode" or something, when I know for sure that bumping it down to hard or normal would've made them a fan of the game. There's way too much elitism out there about games and it's like some people play in certain ways just to "impress" people who don't even know them. It's WILD. Video games are for your entertainment! It's okay-better, even-to tailor a game to your individual style and idea of fun! I wish more of the influential types would think and talk this way. There's no good reason to curse and yell and suffer through a game that you could otherwise really enjoy!
I appreciate your comment. I do have to say that I still have fun playing games even if I get into a situation where I sound like a sailor. Well, as long as it is just not a brutal situation. Most of my cuss moments are my own doing. Thanks for the comment. 😉👍
Its November 2022.... I just sat and watch your entire season 4 playlist.... I HAD NO IDEA you already did a Season 5. now time to Grind out watching Season 5
Fast crafting and XP gain and Technology gain will be used by me haha. After 100+ hours in my old safe, I feel like I deserve some break on the boring leveling up. Can't wait to start all over!
I have played this game when I bought it like for 5 hours and got annoyed by the weight system. Now I am playing with unlimited weight and hell the game is one of my all time favourites.
Finally started my 1st game of Medieval Dynasty. Your videos and let's play are the reason why the learning curve isn't too steep, and why I'm enjoying it a lot. Thanks! I'm actually playing on 10 days/season, but I role play in the sense that just like everyone else, I have to go to bed at 9pm every night to rest. 10pm pushing it. And I have to sleep in the house I build, so I always have to time and think about what I'll do for the day and how much time I have to do it before I head back. Also have to plan things out carefully if I am planning to visit a far village. Sometimes my entire day would literally be spent just travelling to 1 village and back, and nothing else. Feels a lot more immersive, and the 10 days actually go by really fast. Feels like playing on a 3-5 day season
Very cool, Thank you for watching. I like the idea of having to sleep by 9pm and keeping a schedule like what you are doing. What about building a small campfire when you are out traveling to far away villages. Like you would need to stay over night because the travel was so far. An Inn would be a cool addition to the game, you could pay a fee to wash up and spent the night. Anyway, Take care and Happy Hunting
@@HecticNasari I agree with you on the inn. I wish they had that. I would also do the campfire thing, but I will do everything I can to avoid it, and only if it's a last resort or if my plan for the day would have to involve sleeping away from my house. I'd try to limit myself to doing it once a season. What I like about playing like this is that I almost never have to worry about light when I'm doing things, and even though days are short and I have schedules to keep, I'm surprisingly pretty relaxed. I have a small village with 6 people, and I wanted to do mining and crafting myself (so my village is located exactly where yours is, at the north mine). Even though I am running against the clock everyday trying to beat daylight, I never felt pressed for time because I know I have 10 days. And I'm still able to mine, farm, craft, provide for my village all by myself, knock out time-sensitive quests, etc. I stick to a normal routine of waking up, talk to the wife (for free food/drink), cook and eat something to fill out my hunger meter to max, do the thing I needed to do for the day (like mine/craft tools for villagers to use the entire season/build something. I only have my villagers gathering basic resources, that's it), wash up when night comes, sleep.. Rinse and repeat, but next day could be all farming. Then next day could be crafting wares to sell. Next day could be selling the wares crafted the previous day and scouting out potential villagers or doing a quest or 2. I'm still fairly new in terms of in-game progression so even though you have way too much to do, 10 days for me as a new and fairly inexperienced player is a great amount of time. But I guess as my village grows and things automate, I'll have to customize the game again and lessen the days. Or I just won't grow my village and just do the crafting and mining myself. Will see. Doing things like this actually also takes my mind off completely on food, water, and cleanliness because you're sticking to a routine. The routine forces me to check my stock everyday, and not when I'm at hornica and suddenly find out my village is starving. Forces me to stockpile the resources I will need for the next 10 days so I don't waste time.
@@ninjakali5137 As long as you are having fun in your game, that is what matters most. I look forward to hearing more about your Dynasty as you grow. 😃👍

I am sure you don't mind feeling a bit proud with you :) You did an awessome job showing everyone the early access and sharing so many tips and tricks, It is a pleasure habing seen your channel grow and I hope it will grow much bigger still :)
It's very inefficient to gather 50 sticks, 20 rocks. If you'll try to pick them up separately you'll see that you can vacuum the sticks with huge speed and in huge amounts before you become overencumbered. So you can just bring this huge stack to separately prepared stone piles and in couple of craft sessions you will have an inventory full of stone knives. Also if you will turn around after spawn and walk couple meters there might be a shovel and chest inside which you can find free coins.
I'm really loving some of the new things. Fast crafting and the expanded inspection mode are awesome. I really wanted to jump ahead with the new content so I bumped the boosts to 1000%. Gotta say it's way too high. Even picking up carts, barrels, bags and chests I can't afford to buy all the schemes I want yet. Keep a few knives on hand. Those stone buggers skin about 5 carcasses then they break. The descriptions for the potions in the technology tree are bugged so still trying to learn about them. The story quests are changed. Alwin's is still close but a little different. So far Uniegost is very different. Not sure if he's a good guy now or not but the story is definitely holding my attention. Hope you are all enjoying this as much as I am.
I played a few times for a few years in. I used both the limited and unlimited weight capacity. I find it depends on how hard you want it to be. I found I do prefer unlimited. I like the 4 day season too. But to tend to leave it on 3 most of the time. I currently save two different settlement games. One with limited weight at 4-day seasons and one unlimited with 3-day seasons. They both seem fine to me in year three so far.
I started playing just a few days ago. Did a normal start and realized 3 days in a season, was rather annoyed. Thank you for showing me I can extend that out.
glad you did the settings the way you did...I left everything as default..but happy to see how the fast crafting works and fster exp works out. if you run out of stuff to do before season ends...you now have an option to just jump to next season. that chest on the island is prob random...i didnt get a chest..instead, a rock pile with 3000 (yup...3000) coins and a shovel. they really changed alot in the early game stuff. i think you have to buy the winter clothes now.
The chest at the end is not random. I've done a couple iterations and they're always there, several of them across the map. The one's I've found always have the same contents and have 300~400 coins in each one.
This is inaccurate. In the six times that I have started new games, the island loot spawned in only two of them; one time with 100 gold, the second with 50. Glad it seems that you got lucky, and I wish that I had too, but others having the same frustrating experience might be confused seeing you say it is always there, when it isn't, and is a random spawn. To be fair, perhaps that has changed recently, since I have only been playing a little over a week. Also, I never got a chest there; it would be a shovel next to a pile of stacked stones, which if you picked up, revealed a coin purse beneath. It also never had potions or crops in there for me. Again, glad others got luck, but since I have largely learned by trial-and-error up until now, I restarted the game several times after learning something new and wanting to restart to incorporate that info from the beginning, I therefore I have had numerous trips to that island, and it is definitely a random spawn. P.S. There is something in a recent patch notes mentioning that they are now randomizing loot, so it seems to be a new change. It just wasn't new to me, since I just started playing, so it's been that way as long as I have been playing, but for older players maybe their experience may be different, since it may have been a while since they started a new game, and went looking for that island loot (they already grabbed it back when is was a sure thing).
@@HecticNasari If You are looking for an idea for season 6 You might wanna set some rules? Like You wont use some things to make it more difficult? Or You will do a certain style of gameplay like only hunting and mining etc.
I don't have much time at all in this game but I agree with you, 3 day seasons are Really short I remember on my first run day 3 at 7pm pick up a side quest just to be met with red across the top. THIS QUEST EXPIRES THIS SEASON. Well that no happening
All "Side Quests' have an expiration time at the top of the quest description. Definitely check that before picking it up. Some "Story Quests" will also have a time limit to complete. However, those are usually a much longer time frame.
I really wish that one of those awesome choices the devs have given us was the ability to turn off the rain or at least cut the time it lasts. I hate the noise and I get lag every time it rains! What a pain! I do love the incredible list of choices they have given us, it’s great that they have taken note of the players opinions through the development period.
Glad it's here would have liked to watch live but with Damn timezone was in the Land of Nod lol getting my beauty sleep(which I defiantly need) look 4ward to watching more TY Hectic
I really think that the tech multiplier has to be at least at 200%. The risk is to keep on using stone tools like a caveman whilst hunting with the most advanced bow(survival tech based) shooting stone arrow (crafting tech based).
I'm new to the game I've been putting it off because I'm not a fan of pre-built structures but decided to give it a chance I'm glade I did . It's super relaxing to play . I'm hopeful some one will make a mid evel game similar to 7 days or something like that lol
@@HecticNasari Oh right. Got it at last. The customize option comes up at start of new game! Eliminating hunger is tempting I was finding hard trying to get along with scant raw food and not many coins.
What is the benefit of having outposts? I prefer everything in the same place. Except for the resource buildings. Edit to add: Reeds show up when you use the inspector mode :)
btw, I have set a Normal, Five day, 200% building, fast craft game myself. I agree that the other sliders are a bit to much cheating. That said I enabled no stamina loss and no weight limit myself. Is that also cheating... yeah, perhaps a bit but I like to "skyrim" my games
@@HecticNasari YOur tutorial is awesome and covers almost everything I learned in playing through two sessions and watching a tonne of other streams before finding you, all in one vid. Thank you, Kudos on a great Vid.
You can not build a Keep, You rule your own Dynasty (village), Bandits do not wander the valley, they will appear in random locations around the valley and stay in their camps.
I@Hectic Nasari after watching part way through this (I Finished the complete vid) I checked out your channel, Kudos I had you subscribe, and will check out more vids, love your channel. so much to learn from you.
I'm playing it for the third time and decided to go the 30 day period. Mostly so I could play with the building and other mechanics of the game. I found one problem with doing it, the villagers using tools wearing out too quickly. I'm guessing the wearing out is based, in some part, on three-day seasons. I think the dev should add to customizing the rate of wearing or add it directly to the length of season, which makes better sense.
The condition wear of the tools is based on the items the tool is being used on. You villagers can only collect a certain amount per day and the tool condition lowers during each item being collected. So, it is not based on the season it is based on each item collected. There is info in each work station that requires the tools and it will show you the usage per item collected.
@@HecticNasari Thanks, I also noticed that there does not much difference between stone and bronze on how long they last. But I'm not sure, so I'm in the process of comparing them now, may take a while. I think some of their food spoilage calculation of. Salted meat was used as a means of preserving food. I think it's spoiling about 50-75% too fast. Also, food should spoil slower in food storage. building. I think they forgot to treat winter as a refrigerator.
@@ScottAble12345 You can see the max level condition on each tool in the tool tip, I think the stone is 100 and the bronze is more like 350. I did test the food spoliage a while back during the test phase, food in the food storage spoils at a rate of 12-13% per season in your House storage was 25% and in your inventory was 50% per season ( I might have house and inventory values backwards). Food left on the floor during season change went right to rot. You are correct, the game does not account for the low temperature during winter as far as food is concerned. Thank you for watching and the tips.
It's finally here. I'm a bit worried with your 5 days per season, seems a bit too long when you get enough villagers doing farm work. Some might idle if you're field isn't big enough, but like you said play it however you like. Hope it gets more challenging. Keep it up and congrats on being recognized.
I see, i hope it doesn't cause us to loss on potential production items when we skip seasons. I can imagine lacking some materials during production that we have to personally gather in order to continue crafting and stuff, but if we skip the season would that mean we loss out. Nas can test this.
@@HecticNasari 5 buildings (2 houses, 1 hunters lodge, 1 workshop and 1 woodcutter). Directly after paying the tax I built a new house, a storage and a a kitchen. Currently working on a new food storage and one more house.

Wow, how easy it was to get coins in this game two years ago, I just doing my first playthrough now, and I am getting 4 coins per knife, not 40 coins per knife as you do 🤣
My Season 6 is a 1 Day Hardmode challenge, One life and I have to complete all the chapter and story quests before they time out. If I die or fail any of the story quests, it is game over. This is also done on the Hard setting
That sounds like you need to visit the Toplitz discord and field your concern there. Lots of helpful people that might actually know what this issue is. Unfortunately, I do not know.
Was going to watch this lets play untill you went 5 day seasons. You don't need to do everything as fast as you can in this game. Good luck with your seasons that will drag out as Racimir gets older.
Thank you for the luck, I think?. Seasons will not drag out, the devs have put in a new feature that allows the player to sleep away the remainder of the season after the third day of each season. As far as doing everything as fast as I can, well I'm actually taking this season slower than my last 4 seasons. I don't feel the need to rush because the game is in full release and there are no longer going to be major changes like during the test phase. So, no need to rush. However, your sarcasm has been noted. Thank you and Happy Hunting 😉
I kind of wished you were playing this with a little less meta-gaming, but I do appreciate you skipping the mundane portions. Useful vid though, and think I'll grab this while it's still on sale ... and then wait for the patches before starting.
I enyoy the content, but why so much obsesion about selling the knives before starting the quest? just play organically man, money drops on you pretty fast
There did not use to be so much random loot in the game. So I started this game like I started the past few Series. That way I was not left high and dry. Thanks for watching.

It just wasn't new to me, since I just started playing, so it's been that way as long as I have been playing, but for older players maybe their experience may be different, since it may have been a while since they started a new game, and went looking for that island loot (they already grabbed it back when is was a sure thing).

the triple waterfall seems to have mining opportunities
congrats on getting recognized in the game! that's freakin' awesome.
Yes it is, Thank you
Just came across your channel. Look forward to catching up on previous seasons and look forward to watch this 🤗 (great video)
Thank you
Great video to end my day to! Thank you for your hard work!
Thank you for watching
Just found your Channel. Watched , 👍 Liked and Subscribed.
Awesome, thank you!
I have to agree, the rain is a bit much. I do hope they will be working on some type of optimization to help with the load during the rain.
Glad it's here would have liked to watch live but with Damn timezone was in the Land of Nod lol getting my beauty sleep(which I defiantly need) look 4ward to watching more TY Hectic
Thanks
I really think that the tech multiplier has to be at least at 200%. The risk is to keep on using stone tools like a caveman whilst hunting with the most advanced bow(survival tech based) shooting stone arrow (crafting tech based).
👍👍
Look forward to seeing what you do.
Me too 😁😁
The thumbnail for this video looks like Jaime Lancaster lol
I'm new to the game I've been putting it off because I'm not a fan of pre-built structures but decided to give it a chance I'm glade I did . It's super relaxing to play . I'm hopeful some one will make a mid evel game similar to 7 days or something like that lol
Welcome aboard!
What platform is this one. Are all these options standard or have you used some sort of trainer?
I'm playing on PC and the settings I'm using are in the Custom Game Settings which is part of the game.
@@HecticNasari Oh right. Got it at last. The customize option comes up at start of new game! Eliminating hunger is tempting I was finding hard trying to get along with scant raw food and not many coins.
Lovely videos and a great guide for my start. Bought the game yesterday.
Thank you for watching and welcome to the community. Make sure to check out my channel for more videos and tips to help you.
And then there is me with default setting crafting 115x Clay Vials (takes 11½ minutes!). I wish i had that quick craft selected.
It was easy to miss, I’m glad I saw it. Quality of life.
What is the benefit of having outposts? I prefer everything in the same place. Except for the resource buildings.
Edit to add: Reeds show up when you use the inspector mode :)
Building Outposts is just a personal choice. It will allow me to experience building in different areas.
btw, I have set a Normal, Five day, 200% building, fast craft game myself. I agree that the other sliders are a bit to much cheating. That said I enabled no stamina loss and no weight limit myself. Is that also cheating... yeah, perhaps a bit but I like to "skyrim" my games
😁😁 Happy Hunting
Hey, Hi, Ken here, love this and your channel.
Hey, thanks
@@HecticNasari YOur tutorial is awesome and covers almost everything I learned in playing through two sessions and watching a tonne of other streams before finding you, all in one vid. Thank you, Kudos on a great Vid.
can you build a keep in this game? become a lord and rule a willage? are the bandits that atack?
You can not build a Keep, You rule your own Dynasty (village), Bandits do not wander the valley, they will appear in random locations around the valley and stay in their camps.
I@Hectic Nasari after watching part way through this (I Finished the complete vid) I checked out your channel, Kudos I had you subscribe, and will check out more vids, love your channel. so much to learn from you.
I appreciate you watching. Thanks
Love your videos:-) My char doesn´t seem to craft 10/10 but still does the "old" way of crafting every single knife...You know how to change that?
That is a setting before you start a new game. I show it at the beginning of the Season 5 Ep1 video.
where is by accident this uuhh tool shed located exactly?
🤔
I’d also have unlimited weight,,, just keep collecting supplies,,, ❤
😉👍
I cracked n got the game 😂
It's finally here. I'm a bit worried with your 5 days per season, seems a bit too long when you get enough villagers doing farm work. Some might idle if you're field isn't big enough, but like you said play it however you like. Hope it gets more challenging. Keep it up and congrats on being recognized.
I noticed a skip season option when you use the bed to sleep, seems to have a cooldown of 3 days so a long season can be shortened as needed
I see, i hope it doesn't cause us to loss on potential production items when we skip seasons. I can imagine lacking some materials during production that we have to personally gather in order to continue crafting and stuff, but if we skip the season would that mean we loss out. Nas can test this.
Thank you
I haven't slept yet, so I have not noticed that. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the game. Thank you
Now full release are you going to redo tips and tricks 😉 I couldn't do it without unlimited weight I'm a hoarder lol
I do plan on updating some of my guides. I am trying to get those together to start putting out soon.
I first thought taxes were gonna be sky high but then when I was to pay my first tax I was like "dude.... Only 21 coins?, seriously?"
For how many buildings. You can see the tax for each building in the management screen
@@HecticNasari 5 buildings (2 houses, 1 hunters lodge, 1 workshop and 1 woodcutter). Directly after paying the tax I built a new house, a storage and a a kitchen. Currently working on a new food storage and one more house.
Hi Nas! I was following your "2000 coin on the first day - video" and I just wanted to thank you. I`m afraid, I`ll dream about 50 sticks and 20 stone, but well, I`m a made man and don`t even own a campfire haha :)
Nice, I'm glad it helped. Once you get established a little there is always a different way to make even more money faster and easier. Happy Hunting
skip to about 11:00 for gameplay
STICKS AND STONES LETS GOOO!!!!!
😃😃👍👍
Wow, how easy it was to get coins in this game two years ago, I just doing my first playthrough now, and I am getting 4 coins per knife, not 40 coins per knife as you do 🤣
Prices of items have been adjusted a lot since the Oxbow release.
Is this game a one-and-done or is it different every time you start a new game?
I guess you would call it a one and done.
@@HecticNasari thanks
Do you play as dead is dead? Like when you die you start over
My Season 6 is a 1 Day Hardmode challenge, One life and I have to complete all the chapter and story quests before they time out. If I die or fail any of the story quests, it is game over. This is also done on the Hard setting
welp looks like i know what game im going to be getting
😉👍
Feel kinda bad. Wasn't concentrating and accidently disliked the video lol. Ah well, brilliant video either how - helped me a lot :D
Thank you, Feel free to check out my Tips and Tricks Playlist along with the other 300+ videos I have for this game. Happy Hunting
Congratulation's on being recognized by Devs... you did a great job in showing many people what a nice game they made.
Much appreciated!
The craft in one step option is convenient, but cheaty IMO.
👍😀
For some reason almost every time I click on something it jumps to windowed mode from FS
That sounds like you need to visit the Toplitz discord and field your concern there. Lots of helpful people that might actually know what this issue is. Unfortunately, I do not know.
I am playing a season on hard settings. Good lord is hunting the predator animals terrifying 🤣 I haven't managed to kill a wisent yet!
LOL Oh my, I can only imagine
i would hope the poison arrows you can buy/craft would work
Hello are dare coming more series of this 🎮 game ?
Have you watched my Season 6 yet? It is a 1day hardcord challenge series.
I just realized I didn't comment here. So now I have :)
🎉🎉
can you delete roads you made ?
Yes, The hammer wheel (right-click with hammer equipped) has an option to destroy.
@@HecticNasari thanks :-)
Thanks for watching.
Please stop stealing your 1st bow, you are rich, and have no need to steal. :( lol
😁
To be honest most of the skills feel underwhelming.
🙂
maybe it'll get ya more money but its cheating
I enyoy the content, but why so much obsesion about selling the knives before starting the quest? just play organically man, money drops on you pretty fast
I found that the random chests you run across do a good job on getting you some initial starting funds.
There did not use to be so much random loot in the game. So I started this game like I started the past few Series. That way I was not left high and dry. Thanks for watching.
@@HecticNasari The devs literaly put 2000 silver under a rock to be found, lol. Guess they watch your videos too
@@derfuchs13 Oh Nice. If they watch my videos, then they should put a character in the game that can't pronounce anyone's name correctly LOL
