The problem with the ZF nine speed is not necessarily the transmission itself, but the software tuning from the car companies (FCA and Honda in particular). As for the Tahoe, you're better off with the ten speed auto. I'm not sure if that was available on the body style showed in this video.

Ahaha I drive the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited FWD. It has 70,000km on it. The transmissions shifts and down shifts very hard, the transmission runs very hot sometimes up to 80° Celsius . The transmissions bumps, clunks and bangs and the RPM's Rev high. Flushing the transmission at 60,000km helped but I strongly believe that German transmission to be junk. It's far to complicated. I already hear the safety switch clicking. I should note though, To be fair. That car paired with the 3.2L pentastar is a lightning fast and it does shift wild fast when you really send it. So it can be an exciting transmission. My 1997 Pontiac Sunfire coupe shifts and downshifts much better. Thanks for the great upload and consistently great content.
