When Graham asked if the language Goblin is different from Orcish, I half-expected Thok to be like "well phonetically the two languages are very similar but the vocabulary is distinct and they share basically no spelling. They share the same alphabetical runes, however, due to a shared origin in the Dwarven-Goblinoid language family. I've actually written several papers on the subject. Fascinating stuff."
Holameamigo991 I like the concept that Digeri-difficulty is the standard of how nice you are as a DM.. 1 on the scale would be like level one players that could kill Tiamat and 57 is can consistently make your characters commit actual suicide in five different campaigns simultaniously
You use the metal didgeridoo in magma to summon the giant magma turtles to ferry you to the priest's quarters further in the magma river near the ash tubes. Common guys, step it up.
Yeah man. This high fantasy game filled with magic an dragons needs to be more realistic. While you're at it add some guns and make it about modern warfare. Also remove all the colours except grey, brown and grey-brown.
Alternate theory on why no one in town mentioned Durg's disappearance: he gets blind drunk and staggers off into the woods to sleep it off at least twice a week, so no one saw it as out of the ordinary.
Games adopt their own pace and different game types attract different types of players. I feel this DM reads out his players well. These players obviously like some problem solving mixed in with killing the bad guy. Though constant battle after battle games are faster pace, these moments in game can lend to some real unique moments on their own. I like all types of games. Usually watching other's play D&D IS a bit like watching paint peel off the walls anyway, but I seem to enjoy it anyway. I think these guys do a fair job.
It would only take one hour and two minutes in-game time - at two minutes per attempt - to check all 31 possible non-ordered permutation of 1 to 5 books pressed in. That's not all that long, really. Just try 'em all! Of course if it's an ordered combination, then the odds of hitting that order on accident during this process would only be just over 9.5%, in which case forget it.
+Mutation666 PSST this was released over a year ago... but yes it would have been nice if he, or the artist had made some maps for the fights, and possibly one for the overall dungeon if only basics, though i think he didn't so that people listening to audio only versions could still understand where things were without them going "I'd like to move over there"
Sorry, Jeremy, but you need to look up (or even better: try out) how didgeridoos work. They don't work with pressure like say a trumpet, but with vibrations. They are like amplifiers in a way.
featherweight sure they do. That's why the story continued and none of our heroes stopped to call bullshit. But Jer compared the magic didgeridoo to a regular one and explained how it worked differently. But a regular didgeridoo doesn't work the way he thinks, so his comparison was faulty.
i think so as well i don't think its a simple combination lock that would be too easy to use -all you have to do is run through every possible combination of book press 5 books pushing each on in a different order wouldn't take that long the problem is that when their all pushed fire comes out meaning its some kind of ritual or device for some other purpose -i have the feeling its the lock and they don't have the actual key to use it yet also they need to start working on the language issue i think hes trying to tell them that they need to decipher the text otherwise they can't get anywhere -in a space game the only way to get anywhere was to translate the text and start figuring out how the space station worked -same issue here if you don't know what these signs say how do you know your not about to open the door saying magma keep out

Oh Thok u r such an amazing character, I love all of Pauls comments.
Thok continues to be my favorite. And Featherweight's artwork is awesome as always.
Jer has so much skill when it comes to being a DM. He was patient the whole time that the party was pressing books! Lol XD
This didgeridoo puzzle has made me realize how nice of a DM I am to my PCs. I'm turning up the digeri-difficulty from now on.

Bruh, what you talkin' 'bout?
DabroodThompson Like, I still don't even know the hell set him off?
Funny thing though, I was right!
Oops I forgot what a joke was too. my bad.
ReikaHisui Yeah, but jokes are funny. Sooooo?
Can I just say that I love Paul's tiny smile in the intro screen?
Alex has the best character.
The nice thing about the book puzzle is that it doesn't feel contrived. It's the kind of thing a cult could plausibly install as a security measure.
Alternate theory on why no one in town mentioned Durg's disappearance: he gets blind drunk and staggers off into the woods to sleep it off at least twice a week, so no one saw it as out of the ordinary.
Cameron continues to be useful, and he's not even in this episode!
1 Hour of them opening doors and debating whether or not to set up a pulley. Also, Homemade Dubstep! Highly Recommend!
Well that's dnd when you dont wanna die to hidden things

It's been nearly a year when does the soundtrack come out with the sick beat box, and didgeridoo come out?
someday there's gonna be actual lava bears and I am hyped!
now I feel like I need to make "Temple of the Koala Bear ". With "drop bears" that fall from the ceiling
Nice free styling there, Graham. :)
Temple of the Gummi Bears!
It would not make it out of my stomach so bad idea
Kathleen is a hell of an investigator!!
You guys really need to draw maps for this. It would make your navigation ( and ours) much easier.
I was dying for this episode to come out.
For some reason when they put the black key in the door and opened it, I fully expected Jer to say "The fire comes on."
Desert bus hype
Best.Rap.Ever.
magma is thicker than water- try the digeridoo in there. then you could get a regular sound out of it.

I think that they were supposed to light the fire and then use their fire resistant cloaks to walk through.
Nice episode!
PUSH ALL OF THE BOOKS!
The goddess is Pele.
DM really needs to make some maps

sick
I am waiting for someone to use the didgeridoo and Summon some Minotaurs....
is there a way to see who liked my comment?
am I the only one who said or thought damn it darkspawn when they heard "the architect"
Go watch desertbus!! :D
No one has primordial?

I'm pretty sure magic Lava didgeridoos work anyway Jer wants them to.
~magic~
featherweight

Max Power its an rpg, it doesnt have to be correct
Max Power and btw, he did mention vibrations. You just prob didnt catch it
Men's right activist does not equal sexist.
Ignorance like this is making gender equality so hard.
some how I think the special egg will hatch if they put the egg on the fire pit lol
