"the instant potato technology has improved greatly over the couple years" had to be up there as one of the most Dad-like things Graham has said in a video.
No bit sums up why I love LRR more than when y'all were asked how Graham hurt himself, and every single person involved came up with a different way to say "a coaster fell on his groin". Ian and Jacob especially got me.
Really kinds of awesome that we get an awesome song from King Gizz on here since they released it royalty free, iirc. This was an enjoyable vid to watch and do dishes to, Merry Chrysler to all!
it wasn't "barn owl" it was BARRED OWL I hear those fluffy noise machines going off CONSTANTLY (at night in the autumn) and I laughed at Matt's interpretation SO HARD
What a banger of a live, my most fav in a while. Games all felt fresh, everyone was firing on all cylinders, plus that sweet holiday energy. *Chef's kiss*
I think something that is important for the next Crokinole content is that while you do need to flick, as in the finger should not be touching the button over the line; it is absolutely okay to push. In fact, it is preferable to execute a pushing rather than a flicking motion unless you want to go full power; and even then, you need to position your finger right behind the button so as not to hurt your nail; if you feel like your nails are falling off, you're probably doing it from too far away, so the finger/nail has time to travel until it hits the button, causing a big hit rather than the desired push.
Watched part of this live starting at 15:00 and I was very confused but intrigued by everything going on. As you can imagine, it was very odd out of context, but thankfully it quickly made sense.
1:11:30 Considering (1) the history of Jacob drinking stories and (2) Beej, I was expecting that bit to end with Banana Cori running in and just one-punching Beej.
Had to look up Camron's boba fact about it containing BPA. It's a specific brand of boba called Boba Guys. So far I have not seen any other brand being named containing harmfull amounts of BPA, so aks your trusted boba shop if they get supplied by Boba Guys and if they aren't you can enjoy your boba without risking your health (probably).
After Graham and Kathleen's vlog to watch KGatLW I went and listened to some of their albums. I liked some, didn't much care for others. But holy shit Crumbling Castle RULES.
@@AaronBSam I believe it's the one that's available on a Creative Commons licence, meaning it's totally legit for LRR to use it for the bit (and G used it for his vlog about him and Kathleen going to see King Gizz)
I would like to request that we eventually get A LRR Family Christmas that is everyone wordlessly eating a meal around the table with a fire crackling in the background.
Here we see the meme known as "Cam and Ian Christmas" enter the mutation phase of its cycle, where it gains forms that immune systems currently have less resistance to, causing the risk that it becomes a truly infectious sub-cultural contagion.
Maybe next time we can get some boom mics for the segments that involve eating, Ben, Serge, and (to a lesser extent) Graham eating with a microphone near their moutrhs was audio torture
Food Waste segments are always kinda... unfun. The broken plate especially means the rest of the stuff on the table shouldn't be used for anything else, no telling where tiny shards went.
I was hoping to enjoy this episode of live but someone decided it was a good idea to have two men sit in a quiet room and eat directly into their mics. I love Ben and Serge and I'm sorry but that wasn't enjoyable
Cameron just standing there calmly refusing to bob is one of the biggest pieces of comedy gold I've ever seen!
"Interesting game, Mr. Stark. The only winning move seems to be not to play. How about a nice game of Pinochle, instead?"
The exact opposite of Full Send Heather.
Made me cry laughing, such a great move!
I cannot express how much I love that the "Cam and Ian Christmas" has not only been a recurring segment, but now has parodies. :)
pair o' DEEZ NUTZ!!! :P
I didn’t expect to watch the entire segment, but then I did.
I'm not sure whether to thank or be furious with whoever turned Ben's mic ALL THE WAY up.
I will always, forever and ever, appreciate a reference to the Tarp Budget.
"the instant potato technology has improved greatly over the couple years" had to be up there as one of the most Dad-like things Graham has said in a video.
He is also correct, btw. I was *viscerally* suprised how good the instant cup potato mash from local discounter chains are.
No bit sums up why I love LRR more than when y'all were asked how Graham hurt himself, and every single person involved came up with a different way to say "a coaster fell on his groin". Ian and Jacob especially got me.
52:17 Graham's immediate deadpan "no" broke me. An early contender for 2025's highlight reel imo
Being able to rewatch the Throw Together a Sandwich portion was a great treat to brighten up a very mid day
Really kinds of awesome that we get an awesome song from King Gizz on here since they released it royalty free, iirc. This was an enjoyable vid to watch and do dishes to, Merry Chrysler to all!
ben and serge saw the opportunity to buy chicken with the company card and they took it, and who among us would not do the same
The saucy chicken ASMR was ... something else 😅😂
I loved this! I wish they would have broken out the Mountain Dew and presented to each other.
At first their faces made me think they were eating super spicy chicken
The bit with Jacob and Beej was absolutely sublime
Starting to think the "tarp budget" jokes aren't actually jokes
Im glad to see the LRR tarp budget seems to have increased since last we heard
Yeah it made it the whole year this time. Thankfully, they were able to zero it out before the new year.
it wasn't "barn owl" it was BARRED OWL I hear those fluffy noise machines going off CONSTANTLY (at night in the autumn) and I laughed at Matt's interpretation SO HARD
I desperately need a full series of "Beej reacts to Manischewitz"
Excellent, as always. Thank you!
I really liked the Ben and Serge Christmas.
I love how Jacob basically just Stifled Serge's fetch lol 😂
Not even, he stifled his leyline!
Nice to see Ceiling Egg is still hanging in there
Hands down, one of the greatest LoadingReadyLive episodes of all time.
I can't have my Christmas time without the fatherly disapproving stare of Cam and Ian.
that gift exchange is epic. I can so see it being a real party game!
I watched the VOD like an hour ago, during my intercity bus ride. Thanks!
What a banger of a live, my most fav in a while. Games all felt fresh, everyone was firing on all cylinders, plus that sweet holiday energy. *Chef's kiss*

Every few minutes Cameron just says or does something to remind all of us that he may be the funniest man alive.
Hooting Mandrill! Never change, Ben.
Heather's face down peels up performance was absolutely legendary!
Secret Canadian Christmas is the best US New Years Eve entertainment
Heather going full send was beautiful
I was NOT ready for Heather's full send when bobbing for Tim Bits
when she dove across the table chasing after the bowl I nearly passed out laughing
Moments when you remember that Beej and Heather are married
Watched part of this live starting at 15:00 and I was very confused but intrigued by everything going on. As you can imagine, it was very odd out of context, but thankfully it quickly made sense.
The holiday segments were all beautiful and should be done next year. Just every couple of months or so pick a pair of folks to do an hour
Thank goodness for the tarp budget
I really enjoyed the gamification of the gift exchange
1:33:50 it is indeed from WTYP, but I didn't realise it until he said it.
YOU PRINTED A CONTERSPELL AND A LEYLINE INTO YOUR GIFT EXCHANGE?!?!?!
I really like Jordynne's shash glyph hat
1:01:23 The only thing more appropriate would have been for Cam to shout his own name here.
(and four minutes later...)
Graham is saying "sandwich" in the same tone as "T-Buck"
Happy ceiling eggmas to all who celebrate
MATHEW WIGGINS!!!!
I first thought it was a bit: Good evening and a hap______ New year's to you all.
a very merry, and chewy, Christmas
i love the LLR crew i always look forward to your boxers/xmas day live episode
1:11:30 Considering (1) the history of Jacob drinking stories and (2) Beej, I was expecting that bit to end with Banana Cori running in and just one-punching Beej.
Crumbling Castle Christmas was so good!
I was fully expecting Jacob to take and then skull Beej's glass at the end

I feel very bad for Jacob and Beej for having to drink what looks like straight manischewitz.
That stuff should not be used for anything but cooking
I have a theory it tastes like that so that when kids get to try wine for the first time we're discouraged from drinking recreationally.
Great "initiation" bit.
Gah, I’d love to have someone to sit by the fire and listen to King Gizzard with
I hope Beej's meeting with the Beit Din went well
That discussion about Morgan and Matt makes me really miss them both.
During the Kathleen & Nelson segment, what album is that?
Disregard, found it: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Polygondwanaland (one of the ones I don't yet own, but figured it HAS to be a KGatLW album)
@@AaronBSam I believe it's the one that's available on a Creative Commons licence, meaning it's totally legit for LRR to use it for the bit (and G used it for his vlog about him and Kathleen going to see King Gizz)
Jacob, doing that to Beej was just cruel
Cam, doing that to Jacob was MEAN, man. Mean!
(...I love it.)
45:00 I can't tell what they're looking at, is it a D&D monster manual?
So much respect for Cameron
I would like to request that we eventually get A LRR Family Christmas that is everyone wordlessly eating a meal around the table with a fire crackling in the background.
19:35 don't worry about Ben eating the bones, he's a lizard
If only they'd let you make sandwiches like this in Scarlet/Violet 😂
I think Kathleen might need to get Nelson on Brave New Faves some time, I love their "vibing to and discussing music" chemistry
Is it just me, or does Ceiling Egg look like it fell off and is now on the perspex containing it?
Hype!
Those are some bright white shoes, Graham
Just the sight of that much eggnog is giving me GI distress
RIP tarp budget

cameron had an expression I cannot describe
Watching this during a vacation in India, I long for the day when I dare licking my fingers again like Ben and Serge. Or eating lettuce like Graham.
Cameron watches WTYP? LESGOOOO
How did I miss this live?!
Is it weird that I use the "set change" of Ben & Serge eating chicken to test the levels on my hearing aids?
What is Jacob's shirt referencing?
I think it's a Critical Role quote
didn't think I'd see someone force of will a pregame leyline this episode
...And a third potato has hit the Pentagon!
12:24 Potato fuel can't melt steel breads.
System comment!
For anyone who, like me, was struggling to read it, Heather and Cori are reading an older DMG 44:59
The oldest, actually. "AD&D" or '1st Edition' (1979)
2:21:19 did the extra turn not happen?
Nice hiss? Steve mre crossover episode when??
MIC 5! Everyone had MIC 5
... where was the coffee?
They answered "Pizza Pizza" instead of "Hamilton."
What an unfortunate start of stream.
It was live, so _something_ was going to happen!
I thought there was something wrong with the RUclips encoding or my phone.
It not perfect system.
I'm sorry, I had to skip through the Ben and Serge eating thing. One of them was eating way too close to the mic, and my brain didn't like it.
Maybe next time we can get some boom mics for the segments that involve eating, Ben, Serge, and (to a lesser extent) Graham eating with a microphone near their moutrhs was audio torture
"Not a bug, but a feature; ticket closed, no action necessary."

5 solid minutes of mouth sounds, WHY??? 🤢
