Funny that they just hard nerfed stoat levies so they're more in line with the power level of squirrel's feasts. Still going to be an insane support clan, but just providing free team-wide bonuses all game is no more. At least if you want to build an army at any point.

Are your opinions based solely on group PvP? like 3v3 or 4v4? I'm kinda more curious in how clans compare in 1v1 right now, as I don't have anywhere near the confidence required for team matches D:
This list works the best for 3v3s! As 4v4s and 2v2s are rather similar, it's applicable for those modes as well. I find 1v1s and FFAs to be rather different, as these modes are much slower and you'll have to find a clan that is independent! If you feel comfortable playing 1v1 I would highly suggest giving team games a try! In my opinion, team games tend to be way easier, as your team helps you with the scouting/clearing/feasting which greatly boosts your economy! Just remember to build camps in the 801 winter to convert in 802 and you will be good to go.
I'm by no means an experienced player BUT i can say this as a long time RTS fan. FFA games usually don't have the singular best race/faction/clan, as the random factor is very prevalent. In some games you will be the first target, in some games you will be the last target, you can't know that. Last game i played was a 6 man FFA, i played snake and i rushed 801 spring with Signy, bodyguard + 8 skirmishers, also got lucky and on the way i captured Thor's Wrath tile, making me utterly unstoppable. i defeated 3 players all in same push. Wolf, Raven and i don't recall what the third guy was. Last 2 guys were Boar and Horse. Horse was weak, went all in on Boar and simply lost all troops. Boar went for turtle/economy build and in the end won with Fame victory. If the RNG put boar next to me, he would also perish instantly, however he was put on the opposite diagonal on the map and therefore won. So you can play the same tactic with same clan over and over again, sometimes you will win and everything will go right, and sometimes exactly the opposite will happen. Thats FFA :)

I have commented twice on your video now (first time within an hour of being uploaded and then again within an other hour) I don't know if RUclips is being buggy on my end or something, but my comments keep dissappearing/getting removed! i just wanted to say this is a great video! Really well edited, short and sweet, and very informative and entertaining at the same time! I also wanted to tell you that i made top 30 on the Mobile northgard ladder in 1v1 duels (as the wolf clan) thanks to your tips and advice, i know that mobile isn't the most competitive platform out there but i owe your guidance for my rapid growth! Your content and tier lists also motivated me to buy and start playing the pc version after the last steam sale ! I was trying out the lion clan and had a lot of questions again about how exactly to optimise their millitary, but i have a fear now that my comments were getting removed because they were too long, so initially i guess I'll leave this one at this... what is the most optimum millitary composition for the lion,/ when should each unit be used, and what forge upgrades are best on what unit ?!

Lion Clan is really strong with Champions -> deflect upgrade + Marchfield and Steelwork Lore.

I wanted to ask a few more things about the lion clan 1)how would you rank all their forge upgrades from best to worst? And which upgrade is best for which unit? 2) what do you think of the paladin vs the other lion units? What do you think of it vs other viking clans units like einherjar or upgraded warriors ? 3) is there any way to upgrade paladins ? Does steelwork affect them maybe ? 4) Is there some way to get weapon forges onto paladins/ sentries that i am missing? 5) should the archer be used in any matchup/ situation?

Sadly as far as I know, there is not. 4.) Same as 3.) 5.) Funnily enough they can be quite good (especially in midgame), but usually champions for Lion and Fantassins for Stoat is the way to go. Updated question after the latest sub patch changes...do you still think steelwork is the way to go after its nerf ( bonus reverted back to 5% defence increase for each millitary building in the same zone as a smithy, down from 10%) ...it was super strong at 10%... idk about it now, would you still consider lion to be worthy of your honourable mentions after the steelworks nerf?
I feel like it is really hard to get into Snake games as the whole community hates that clan. In normals, playing Snake feels like bullying and sadly, nobody wants it in ranked as well.
@@larsmanlive Probably, however as a biased snake enjoyer I must say it’s all just misconceptions, but that’s beside the point. It’s just a little annoying that people keep mentioning the clan, but you will find so little resources online if you want to learn the clan.
as usual, the new faction/hero/race in any game is busted to hell and back. Would like to see more expensive troops/building costs for Stoat as a balancing factor. That being said, i absolutely LOVE the addition of southern kingdoms, as it opens a huge amount of possibilities in the future. As we all know, the norsemen were sailors and they traded all the way south arabian countries. Who knows what might be the next clan! :)
Dont know what you are talking about! The Stoat clan is very defence now! I played the Stoat clan for about 12 MP games and i lost nearly every single game, because the Stoat get now a strong debuff. The farther away you are from your own territory, the weaker your military will be and the Stoat-Champions just have 1/3 of attack and health of normal northgard Axewarrior. So, on big maps the stoat clan is fucked and even in defence positions i allways get overrun by Deer-Einherjar armys, because an Einherjar has 30 attack, 29 armor and 180 HP, but the highest upgraded Champion, or Infantery get only 80 HP and maybe 13 attack and 18 armor. The Raven clan has no problem to kill all civilians of a duchy with a single viking attack and sometimes it needs a lot of time to get 12 citizens respawned...
Stoat's a defensive clan by nature. The clan is really strong once it gets rolling with its livablity. Try to fight with a double military levy in late-game. Fights against Einherjars will be pretty tough though...
Bear is my secret top 0 But for real, many clans stronger then bear on paper but still feel more confident to play bear in ffa then any other clan. Good 500 scaleing, if played with jar and guardian basicly unbeatable on your territory, nice clearing, can kill elves and cobbolds quite early. If you want to chill on ffa-s just play defensive bear and it is fine
Dragon is rare on team games mostly because there is only few good players on dragon, but yeah if played properly can be strong. I have friend who main dragon and proved me many times it is strong clan, can fight and have good eco and safe sustain of army
Stag is great and balanced clan, he is stronger in ffa and duels and weaker in team games cause need time to build greedy eco which mostly stag players want. He is just in great spot right now, not too strong, not too weak.

The scouting problem with Stout can easily be solved by just giving the Military Line of Defenders, where your fortresses can do that for you

Can you make some snake video? I noticed a lot of high level players keep praising the clan but none of them play the clan consistently.
I feel like it is really hard to get into Snake games as the whole community hates that clan.

The thing about kraken is that raven mercenary goes away, so the weakness with raven is hardly a thing
Raven raiding your coastal tiles is still really annoying. Especially a Raven raid with relic is not easily dealt with.

Dragon is really hard to master and you find only few people who know how to play... But for me it's the best clan.

Stag's way weaker than before, the colonization nerf was huge.
