I can see why people hate Naoki but it’s not his fault. He’s just emotionless he’s uninterested by life and then Kotoko taught him the meaning of living and added colour to this life
@@otakusenpai549 so when your mother shout at you you'll slap her face to calm her down.??? I guess no we will never be able to hurt the people we really love
I've been getting clips from this anime a lot. I think their relationship is awful but I find this anime fascinating. I'm closer to Naoki than Kotoko in terms of intelligence, but I never used that as an excuse to look down on others or bully others despite my trauma. I never had to study and always had good grades and now I'm studying neuroscience. I see intelligence as a gift, and gifts like this are meant to be shared with love and kindness.
I don’t deny that his character is a jerk but in this case he complained before he found out why she called him. After she told him about yuki’s condition he got serious.
It's not her family, maybe you don't know if the kid have another condition, I would ask his family first too, it's different when you help a total stranger there's no option, but basic information as allergies or hospital of the family, could help in the moment.
I think she's in panic mode. Me in my panic mode spontaneously call my mom first. But I think, in this case, Irie is Yuuki's older brother, I think Irie is already a medical student here.
I haven't seen this anime but this scene is sooo beautiful, touching, well animeted. It touches the heart ❤️❤️❤️ . Opinion may change if I watch full anime.....
This anime is... not good. I'm just here because this ended up on my recommended and I felt the need to share my take, since some people are discovering it for the first time: This is the deeply unhealthy love story of an abuser and a girl with absolutely no sense of self-awareness or self-worth. Its not okay to mentally and physically abuse someone who loves you because you have issues. Just like its not okay to constantly shove your attentions on someone who has _repeatedly_ treated you badly and shown no interest in you, in the hopes that they'll change their mind and treat you better someday. If you are one of the many folks out there who love this anime, I'd honestly love to know why. I don't think you're a terrible or ignorant person. Wish fulfillment is a thing... But I worry about y'all.
I love it honestly only because I watched it as a preteen, lol. so it holds a weird place in my heart. as an adult tho I do agree this is not a healthy relationship
@@zoellauu1855 That's fair. I liked a lot of problematic stuff when I was younger as well. The live action Hana Yori Dango series comes to mind. Now though, it makes me cringe 😂
I think it a lil different, mainly cause the male lead starts out as indifferent and arrogant (and thus treats most of the cast like any prick would) but Kotoko (with her quirks) gradually get's a spot in his heart and she changes him into a better person who cares about others at the end of the show (to the point where the little brother straight out tells him he likes his brother better after Kotoko came into their life's) I can get into an entire ted talk about this ^^: but my own take on the character's is that they are pretty darn realistic and interesting.
yes at first i didn't like it and i hated irie but after kotoko changed him i started to like the anime more i think that it's a good anime but i don't think i would rewatch it (i watched the anime when i was 12)
I mean their relationship was rough in the beginning since she idolized and loved a guy that didn’t even care about her at all. He was rude but she literally like a stalker at the beginning too so I get why he’s super mad at one point. As much as she means well, it can get annoying to the person why they personally didn’t care about you the same way. What’s worse to his arrogance is that he is a tsundere so he would talk colder than most since he’s horrible at being kind. But she didn’t care and still likes him, determined to make him hers, which she did. At first he just seems rude and arrogant but you learn as he changes as their relationship evolves and you can see he actually cares a lot about her but is just bad at showing his emotion and is very upfront because of it. But she knows he cares in his own way and she appreciates that. The girl too had a lot of development and become more mature. At the beginning she was just a crazy fan and throwing herself at a man that didn’t like her, and literally seemed like she never stopped to think before doing anything. But once their relationship grew and she tried to be a nurse, she grew as a person and learned when to be kind/fun and when to be serious.Honesty their relationship and character at first sucks but their development is what makes their relationship better. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but both characters’ individual development and love development is what makes it sweeter at the end.
She’s worried and funny with her boyfriend and her brother is sick and he was alone at home before he needs a doctor and make him feel better get well and they’ll take them to a hospital! Her name is Kotoko and she was thinking of boyfriend’s love!
I am not fan of anime, but I have watched live action of this series, all versions, and I loved it tbh. I agree what kotoko and naoki has is sign of unhealthy relationship but if you see as a individual characters they both are not perfect in their own way:)) You can just watch it for fun and for those who takes everything seriously they see on internet I don't recommend this or the live action lol
@@adararelgnel2695 LOL it wasn't just a stomachache if you looked at his symptoms properly and Kotoko still being young and without knowledge. The first instinct is to get professional help if you don't know what to do. If it's not common sense to you then buddy I got some bad news
Her first instinct was the correct, she called the BROTHER of the boy who was nearly dying there, and obviously she freaked out, if you don't know what to do you cry for help so you don't kill the boy accidentally trying to help 🤷🤷
no, what kotoko did was common sense. you don't go inside someone else's house and call an ambulance for their youngest child without telling that to anybody. also, stomach ache and vomiting are extremely common symptoms for children, in real life it could've also simply been an intoxication or gastrointestinal flu. she did the best thing she could've done.

The fact that I actually had appendicitis.....way worse than what happen to yuuki lol 😂
Yuki had intussusception. Its as bad as appendicitis and if not treated promptly can lead to perforation, peritonitis, shock and death.
come on don't joke man. Take care 👍👍
I have a blockage right now and I’m in pain I had to to ER. I’ve thrown up more than 2 times
why tf did she call irie? call an ambulance. take that kid to the hospital. THEN call the family
Because she's kotoko
Thats the only explanation 😅
It's not her family, maybe you don't know if the kid have another condition, I would ask his family first too, it's different when you help a total stranger there's no option, but basic information as allergies or hospital of the family, could help in the moment.

because he isn't her brother she needs to understand his condition from his family first and she was panicking and didn't know what to do
