Not for me I’ve had unprotected sex and haven’t gave anyone anything. Just don’t have sex during break out. Tbh my ex gf first gave it to me so I don’t feel bad tbh
Thanks so much for this, and all you do to help shatter the stigma surrounding this skin condition. A healthy, happy sex life does exist after diagnosis! Take care of yourself and always be honest with your partner. A partner who really likes you for you will accept you. Anyone who rejects you because of it simply means they weren’t for you. Keep your head up.
Told my partner and now he’s taking time to think it over. We have a deep emotional connection which I hope will prevail over his hesitation of me having hsv. This time is so difficult 😞
I have had for 40 years. So that means I have had it most of my life. I was in 1 relationship for 10 years a few years after my diagnosis. But if I am honest...this has very much been life changing and men have not been as receptive to me as women are to a guy friend of mine who has it . He never gets turned down and has remained as permisquive as ever. I, on the other hand, have experienced some pretty devastating moments in my life because of it which understandably has made me withdraw myself from putting myself out there in the dating world. I have met someone I really like but I just don't think I can pursue this which really really sucks!

Im currently second tri and I keep getting outbreaks...I never had it this much with my first pregnancy and gave birth vaginally no issues...any tips on how to prevent?? They gave me antivirals already just once a day. I feel so defeated. And of course its affecting my sex life
